Strange behavior of the notifications

Hi guys.
I use an iPhone 5S running iOS 7.0.3 and have a strange behavior of the notifications.
Example:
I get 3 messages from WhatsApp.
The lock-screen shows the preview of all 3 messages. OK so far.
But if I unlock my iPhone, a banner shows the latest message and the app-badge shows only 1.
This I have with other apps too.
This was not with older iOS versions
All settings looks OK. Do you have an idea?

Because you are comparing floating point numbers.
For example 0.1 cannot be exactly represented in binary, so repetitve additions will probably not end in an exact integer later.
From the three inputs you can calculate the number of values exactly, and use a FOR loop. Don't use convoluted code....
Why don't you simply use ramp pattern?

I have just installed Firefox 29.0 for Mac.
I get a strange behavior of the tab bar and of the location bar with this new version.
Instead of the location bar, I get two rows of symbols. And it's impossible to write anything in the location bar.

I found the culprit: it was an extension called RSS Icon 1.0.6.
I removed it and now Firefox 29.0 is working perfectly.
Now I'll have to find a replacement for that extension.

Strange behavior in the top link bar and open in a new tab

Hello,
I am having a strange behavior in the top link bar. Every element in the menu has the "open in a new tab"-option checked and is working fine but is not working at all in a sub site which inherit the menu.
I have look at the code thinking that the menu in the sub site did't get the target="_blank" but is there.
Anyone who knows what can be happening?

Strange behavior of email notification: where is the log?

Hi,
The email notifications have a strange behavior in our productive system. When the system process whatever subscription only the firsts four notification are sent by email even thought all the inbox notifications are sent. I checked the mail server and only four smtp connections are sent..... In the development system it is working well, I mean all the emails are sent using the same mail server.... I marked the option Enable session debug info in the EMAIL channel but I see nothing in the los (default.trc).
Is there any log to check what it is happened? Where is the log of session debug info?

I would like to increase the logging of Notificator (com.sapportals.wcm.service.notificator.wcm) to DEBUG but in NW7 SP13 I do not find that logging locations.
Could you give any hit on it?

Strange behavior of the Macbook pro display

Hi to all
I'm using my MacBook pro, and notice some strange behavior after open several windows or applications, I don't know how to explain, so here is a photo:

I have tried: go back to 10.4.6 / create a new account / Hardware test... and Nothing.
Any suggestions?

I am having the exact same problem(and no one is replying to my post either), I read in another post of someone who had a somewhat similar issue and someone commented that it was bad VRAM and warranted the logic board to be replaced. I'm hoping this is not the case, or at least hoping the problem does not get worse because I am in school and can't be without this computer for 2 weeks while it gets repaired..I'm hoping I can last til the holidays...

Sometimes I can make it go away by moving windows, and sometimes that makes it worse... this computer is only 100 days old...come on apple..help us out!

The strange behaviour of the notification

     .Net API 3.3.1.2
     I have C++ GUI client with grid. It shows in the grid all updates from Coherence.
     I have also the 'server' application, which inserts objects into Coherence (1 - 2 per second).
     I use 'near-scheme' with front set to local-scheme and back set to remote-cache-scheme.
     I have 3 GUI clients connected to the Coherence and i have the strange behaviour of the clients. The insert comes to one of them three times instead of one. I've checked in the debugger and it's true. The insert really comes three times. But when i've restarted the client all became to work fine.
     It's bad that i can't repeat this situation, it happens from time to time.
     Does anybody get the same situation?
     I've masked it by the checking key and version of object, but it's really strangely.

Strange behavior with the tab key and multiple users

Hello,
I'm stuck on this problem and none of the usual trouble-shooting techniques have yielded results, so perhaps someone will point me the right direction.
I have an Intel iMac running 10.3.9 with two user accounts, and in one of the accounts the tab key fails to advance the cursor from field to field in any application, be it a browser, mail client, etc. The tab key works otherwise, I can switch between applications using apple tab, for instance. The other user account works fine. The keyboard & Mouse preferences are identical on both user accounts. In fact, after creating a new user account it too had no tabbing from field to field either, which would seem to indicate that it is not a problem in an individual account. Repairing the permissions did not help, and even a recent archive and install failed to change this. Anyone know where to look for an answer? Thanks in advance...

I did a wholesale replacement of the preferences folder from the working account to the non-working one, and after going through the welcome screens and re-setting a variety of preferences (setting up mail.app again, etc...), the tab key is functioning as expected in all applications. Thanks!

Strange behavior of the monitor after latest update (solved)

The new kernel seems to be working well except for one thing and I am not sure where the blame lies. About once every 4 or 5 hours, the monitor screen goes blank. If I hit any key it comes right back with nothing lost. Minor thing but kind of irritating. It did not do this with kernel 2.6.29 but it has started doing this since I updated to 2.6.30. As I said, not a biggie but it is irritating as it should not be happening. I don't know if there is a mismatch with my GPU (NVIDIA 9600GT) or if the difference lies within the kernel itself.
FInally it worked out right. Thanks all for the suggestions. Just had to give them time to work through.

Change made. For some reason there was no ServerFlags section in the generated xorg.conf. I added it and then added these options to it. We shall see if this stops the blanking of the screen. I hope so.

Strange behavior in the occupation of a 10 TB CSV volume...

Hi all;
I have a CSV volume (10 TB in size) that hosts VMs from two clustered Hyper-V machines. When I sums the actual size of the VMs, the OS reports 4.1 TB used, but the Cluster Manager reports just only 150 GB free!!
As you know, CSV appears as only Mount Points in Windows Explorer, How can I find why the space is full and with which content?

I'm thinking to output all files with size to check the result. Please try:
Get-ChildItem c:\clusterstorage\volumeX |select fullname,length |export-csv c:\xxx.csv
I assume that some files may not be listed if the running account do not have permission on some files or folders. This is a common cause of missing disk space (but not so big difference) but it still worth to have a try.

Strange behavior when "trying" to burn a disk.

At least I think this is strange behavior, following the instructions in the help viewer, topic "Backing up your music to a CD or DVD." One thing for sure, it's not burning a disc and it ain't telling me why.
I select the playlist and click "Burn Disc"
Requests a blank disc. I insert one.
Message "checking media"
after about a minute, the disc ejects
Message "checking media" displays another 30 seconds
No other messages displayed.
What the ??? Shouldn't it at least display an error message??

Whoops, sorry, this was while burning a playlist.
I've also tried some Pleomax CD disks (Samsung), with no luck. I've tried burning directly from iTunes, and from Toast 7.
Of the types I've tried, the Sony DVD's have been the best for me. Haven't tried many types though. Maybe I can get disks one at a time until I find a brand my burner likes.
Still, isn't it strange that there is NO error message? It just quits?

Strange behavior in Financial Reports (drop down feature)

Hello Gurus,
I have currently performed migration of Financial Reports from 11.1.1.3 environment to 11.1.2.2 environment with the help of a staging environment.
We migrated the reports over to 11.1.2.2 using LCM from the Staging 11.1.2.2 environment.
We are observing some strange behavior with the Financial Reports that have drop down functionality in our new environment.
When we open a report in our current environment (113) and select a particular member (India) from the Page dimension(Page has almost 30 members in it) it returns appropriate data, however when the same report is opened in new environment (122) and when we select the same member(India), it does not return appropriate data(Page has almost 30 members in it).
However if we design a sample report with the same member in the page (Page has only 1 member (India)) and then open the report it shows correct data.
So the issue occurs only when we have more than 1 members in page and it works as expected when we have only 1 member in page.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Strange behavior in Contacts 'Note' field

I am getting strange behavior in the 'Note' fields of my contacts. I am sending out my Christmas cards and, in the process, making a lot of comments in the 'Note' field. Here is what has been happening.
Notes disapper from one or many contacts.
Text from one note gets inserted into the note of several other contacts, replacing whatever content was previously in that contact.
The common thread here seems to be that the changes are being applied across all the notes in a Smart Group (I use a number of keywords to create Smart Groups).
A few questions.
Is my contact database corrupted in some way? If so, can how can I clean it up?
Are other people experience erratic behavior in the 'Note' field?
Is there any way that I can use the 'Note' field reliably?
As it is, the 'Note' field is essentially useless to me … and the address book is increasingly frustrating.

Strange behavior of merged clips on import

After much troubleshooting I've noticed more strange behavior in the reimport of merged clips from XML...
I have merged clips made out of film transfer and the audio from an aiff file. I can export and xml of a merged clip... all of about 30 seconds and when I reimport the clip from xml it is like 47 minutes long and will not reconnect the audio part of the merged clip. That is actually happening to ALL of my merged clips in a current film project.

I have a instance in a db server and i access the databse from sqlplus through my client.today morning when I wanted to restart the database while opening the database it gave the following error.
SQL> startup
ORACLE instance started.

Database mounted.
ORA-01172: recovery of thread 1 stuck at block 137 of file 2
ORA-01151: use media recovery to recover block, restore backup if needed
but when restarted it sitting on the server itself it got started up without complaining.
What could be the culprit for this strange behavior of the database??

This problem normally occures when block corruption happens.
DIAGNOSTIC ANALYSIS: ORA-1172 is said to happen when we failed to change on a block during instance recovery. This happens when a block is broken and fixed during its recovery. We have collected two dump files of the redo logs to investigate this symptom further. We would like to know what the reason to cause this symptom was and how to avoid / cope with this.
*Cause: Crash recovery or instance recovery could not apply a change to a block because it was not the next change. This can happen if the block was corrupted and then repaired during recovery.
*Action: Do a RECOVER DATAFILE for the file containing the block. If this does not resolve the problem then restore the file from a backup and recover it.

I ma facing a strange behavior of the explain plan. What i mean!
I have a query which runs very fast and it is well optimized. the explain plan shows very good results in cost and execution time.
when i am running the query for a second or a third time is appearing a different explain plan with not such a good cost and execution time.
Could you please guide me what it might be wrong???
