Strange...safari scrolls all the way down on random pages...
It seems that with one page or two, Safari loads them just fine, but upon completion of loading, it instantly moves to the bottom of the page...
this is VERY frustrating. Everytime I load the page I have to manually scroll back up. The page that this always happens with is torrentspy.com (no, not used for the torrents, but for their news).
Could someone check to see if it's just me, or does safari just have a problem with torrentspy? Thanks.

Intel iMac 2.0.4 it will not load beyond 26 items to the 27 for at least 8 min. no logging created in console.

Can't get the pages sidebar to scroll all the way down
If I'm using Acrobat 9, and I have the pages sidebar open, I am unable to scroll all the way down to the very last pages. For example, if I have the sidebar set so that each row has thumbnails for two pages, and the document has 51 pages, I can only drag the scrollbar down far enough to show page 50. I can access the last page, but I can't select the icon to, say, move it to another place in the document. Same thing if it is four pages wide and the document's lenght isn't a multiple of four: the sidebar doesn't want to show the last half-full row of pages. Any ideas what might be causing this?

You can try to resetting Safari. Tap Settings, then tap Safari on the left side. Then on the right side - tap clear history, clear cookies, clear cache. Clear all three. Reboot your iPad. Hold down on the sleep button at the top until the red slider appears and slide to power off. Then hold down on the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and the iPad will restart. Launch Safari and see if helped.
If you are trying to scroll through an area of text and can't scroll to the bottom try a two finger scroll. -
When reading my e-mail after about 20 or so I can't go down any farther. There is no arrow to scroll down on the right side of the screen. I have to delete some messages in order to go on down the mail list.
And attached is a screen grab showing selected e-mails in the Inbox...the white space below are e-mails too!

Thanks for that. Much more constructive than the last comment. It's only the restriction code I can't recall, not the access passcode. So I can currently access the device, just not age restricted content. Does that's make a difference? I also wondered if anyone knew how many attempts you get to try to get it right. Now tried 21 times and so far nothing bad has happened but I am concerned I'll eventually be completely locked out of the device. That doesn't seem in the spirit of things though. Surely it's foreseeable that a child could repeatedly try to guess the code so I can't see that it would be right to lock the device down completely in that circumstance, particularly if the access code is being typed in correctly every time.

When I am on the internet, my screen will suddenly scroll all the way to the bottom and will not respond to any commands. All of the other programs are then affected the same way and you cannot even use the commands at the top of the screen becayse they all scroll to the bottom. After a while, the screen resets by itself. Help.
It sounds like a problem wih the backlight inverter. Usually they just go, instead of on and off.
In a dark room hold a flashlight on the display when it blacks out. If you can see the items on the desktop, it's probably the backlight. -
My iTunes won't scroll all the way to the bottom. How can I fix this?

The Downloads Manager ("Ctrl+J") is more like a log of downloads, it does not verify that the download still exits. Make sure you are setup to download to a permanent location, not into temporary files that get cleaned by the browser or by CCCleaner or something designed to clear out temporary files.
Tools > Options > General > Downloads: ...
Tools > Options > Privacy > [x] Remember download history
Don't clear your download history automatically, but having a lot there whether they exist or not, can slow down Firefox at least it was an issue:

I am trying to make a Photo Book using IPhoto for my granddaughter's wedding. I am using 6 pictures per page, as I have many pictures to add to book.
The picture size is small. But when I zoom is all the way down to the end to make smaller. Doesn't go far enough. When I try to put a picture in the square spot, it cuts off part of the picture. Has anyone else had this problem, and could help me out. I really would like to put on each page even more pictures, but that is not an option with IPhoto. I have used other sites to make books. This is my first try with IPhoto. I may have to revert to the old familiar ones. Wanted to give this one a try. My granddaughter leaves for Germany on the 21st to join her marine husband. I have adobe Premiere Elements 13. It will not let me delete audio or have it fade in or out. I can move the yellow line all the way down till the volume reads -0.0, but the sound is still there on playback. I can click on fade in and fade out and the yellow line that graphs volume takes a sharp raise or dip at the beginning or end of the clip, but there is no change in volume when I play back. What am I doing wrong?

Now about those fades for the volume. How are you doing that?
1. Right click the Timeline video audio and select Fade and then
see the Fade options (I had a video with audio file, so I saw the choices as shown in the screenshot)
2. You can also create two volume keyframes at each end of the Timeline audio clip rubberband (orange line that goes horizontally across the middle of the audio clip). At the position of the Timeline Indicator, click the Add/Remove Keyframe icon, and then with the mouse cursor position the white dots (volume keyframes) to achieve the Fade In and Fade Out audio. In the screenshot below I have moved the Timeline Indicator so that you could better see the white dots (volume keyframes).
Please let us know if any of the above works for you with regard to the audio fades.

The sound effects volume is all the way down. It pops up for a second once in awhile and then disappears. I can't find it in the Setting. Music sound plays fine, but no sound on my apps. Any idea how to fix it?
If you lose sounds for keyboard clicks, games or other apps, email notifications and other notifications, system sounds have been muted.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the task bar. Double tap the home button and in the task bar at the bottom, swipe all the way to the right. The speaker icon is all the way to the left. Tap on it and system sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock rotation can be accessed via the task bar in the same manner as described above.

Opens with volume all the way down
WHenever iTunes opens under my profile, whether it is a computer restart, log out/log in, or program (iTunes) restart, I always receive the warning that 'The iTunes volume is turned all the way down. To change the volume drag the slider at the top of the iTunes window" I am able to check the 'Do not warn me again' option, but I don't because I want to know why the volume is turned all the way down in the first place.
Here's the answer supplied by Johnny Hands. He's referring to the AirPlay control located next to the volume slider. Make sure your computer volume is turned up or the check mark is disabled on the Multiple tab.

Dimension hierarchy not going all the way down.
Hey everyone,
This is problem I've never seen before. I have a dimension hierarchy which won't let me drill all the way down to the bottom detail level.
I've got a FACT table called FACILITY_PERSON_F which relates dimensions FACILITY_D and PERSON_D. Each person has a another dimenion, ADDRESS_PERSON_D and facility has ADDRESS_FACILITY_D
The overall model looks like this
ADDRESS_PERSON_D -----> PERSON_D ----> FACILITY_PERSON_F <----- FACILITY_D <------ ADDRESS_FACILITY_D
The joins are defined as FKs in the physical and complex in the BMM layer.
In the BMM layer, to create the respective dimensions, I right clicked on PERSON_D and FACILITY_D and selected the "Create Dimensions" option.
For both newly created dimensions, I create additional levels in the hierarchy so that country drills to state which drills to city which then drills to the detail (PERSON_D or FACILITY_D respectively).
I restart my services, then I log in as admin to test out the drill.
When I go to facility, it works completely correct. I can go from Country all the way down to facility.
However, for the person data, I can only get down to the city information, which is one step above the person detail data. At this point to field is no longer clickable/drillable.
Both drills are setup identically, however, only one is working. When I do a consistency check, everything is fine.
Does anyone have an idea of what's going on here? Any recommendations? Is there a reason why a drill would not be available? Is there something I can do to test/troubleshoot?

Is there a Tool or function (in Illustrator or InDesign) that selects any shape and “punches” a “hole” of that shape all the way down through multiple objects to the paper or artboard?
In Illustrator, group the objects that you want to punch through, and use the transparency pallet.

IMac using OS 10.8.4 volume goes all the way down on restart
If my volume is halfway up and I restart my computer it automaticcally changes to all the way down. I want it to remain where I last set it on restart.

When you restarted, was the system clock still showing the correct time? If it was, you probably didn't reset the NVRAM.
