Streaming radio works in Test Movie but won't work in browser

Hi all,
I've built a simple radio interface that has only Play, Stop and volume adjuster controls.
Play button starts an online stream:
play_btn.onRelease = function () {
     stream= new Sound();
     stream.loadSound("http://radio.xyz.org:9050", true);
     stream.start(0, 50);
When I test movie inside the Flash Pro, i see that it is fully functional.
Running the swf on the local with Flash Player works perfect also.
But after uploading to server, I can hear no sound at all.
I've set "allowScriptAccess" to "always", but it didn't help: ( http://www.erkanbeyaz.com/radyo )
Briefly, the local swf works but the remote one doesn't. And I'm sure this is not a path issue.
I guess this is a flash (and/or browser) security issue and could be overcome by setting the appropriate parameters within the Publish Settings.
But how?

Hi Atul,
I have checked my bindings but the only values the method needs, is the releasecode (which is filled) and the object BUS2012 (which is also filled). The method gives back the exception 1006 responsibility_fail. I have checked the FM BAPI_PO_RELEASE and I even have made sure that the containerelement UseExceptions is marked with X (should be done by the program itself).
What I also see when I generate my testworkflow is the message Indicator "Results Parameter" missing in BOR method RELEASE, but I cannot find out what I need to do to make sure I have this Results Parameter.

Flash 'test movie' animation won't play until refresh screen.

Suddenly, the flash animation won't play until I refresh the screen, in test movie. What's gone wrong? Has worked as it should until last night. Now, when I create a new flash file, the animation doesn't play until I refresh the screen. Then it works fine. It also plays the other swfs fine.

>> Open >> I select the file I want>> Target file
DOES OPEN... but only in preview. I popup opens up and plays the
movie. But I cannot, to the best of my understanding (student
newbie advert. major) open it to where I can edit timeline and
stage and whatnot. I used to be able to. It is saved. It does open.
But just not to be altered... is the best way I could describe it.
I am assuming that maybe there is some type of "open as..." setting
somewhere and it just have it on "always open as preview."
I don't know... I have googled every troubleshot wordphase
under the sun and nothing. Any thoughts?

TS3297 rented movie, but won't download. Keep getting "download error". Does anyone know what's the next step?Is it possible to purge and start over?

Hi all! I rented a movie and it actually partially downloaded but the connection must have not been very good because it never fully downloaded. I actually watched a little of it thinking it would just finish eventually but it never did and now it just keeps trying to download the whole movie again and gives me a "download error. tap to retry" message after about an hour.(I'm back home now and have a great connection) I have tried deleting the video and gone back to the Itunes store to even re-rent the movie but it just says "downloading". Not sure what to do next, it seems to have fallen into a loop that it can't get out of. I have also tried turning off the Ipad and turning it back on but it doesn't seem to help. Any suggestions?? I can't seem to find any help on the support website.

In case anyone is also trying to get their hands on the debug build of InDesign, I'll add some points that are important.

However, recent changes at Adobe require that a person join the "Technology Partner Program" in order to get access to the Debug version of InDesign.
This is by invitation only. I'll repeat that because it's important. You can only join the Technology Partner Program if you are invited to join.
Only someone who works at Adobe can invite you.
What this means is that you should talk to your Adobe contact and ask if they would be willing to sponsor you in joining the Technology Partner Program. You can then email [email protected] with the name and contact details of your sponser so that you can join. You'll then be assessed to see if you can join the program or not.
Once you have joined then you be given access to the Debug version of InDesign.

Mouse moves but won't open program

Recently moved my computer to another room. Plugged everything in and rebooted. All worked fine but requires frequent reboots because the mouse arrow will move but clicking will not open any program. On e rebooted it will work unti next time. What do I need to do?

Try doing a SMC and PRAM resets at least 2-3 each. For instructions please click Intel iMac SMC and PRAM resets. Post back with your results please.

Recordset tests OK but won't save...

Using DW CS4 I have a MySQL db and have created a couple of connections that work just fine to create and read documents on the db. I now want to select only documents where one of the fields is Null.
I used Server behaviors and selected Add Recordset and Advanced. Created the SQL code below, clicked "Test" and it worked fine.
SELECT *
FROM feedback
WHERE feedback.suggestions2 IS NOT NULL
When I clicked "OK" to save the recordset it failed with an error message "TypeError:this.node has no properties".
I created a new recordset with SQL below
SELECT *
FROM feedback
This tested OK, but failed the same way when I clicked "OK" to save.
I'd really appreciate suggestions on how to start troubleshooting this.

Hi,
It's a MySQL db containing text in about 15 fields per document, or row. I tried creating a recordset without the WHERE statement and it failed the same way. I have found a work-around which is to copy a recordset from another web page on the site and then rename and modify it to include the WHERE statement. This works OK but it shouldn't be necessary.

Is connected to my wireless network but won't let me browse

i got an ipad2 today and came home and it locates my home network/internet and shows as connected, but when i try to browse, it says that i am not connected to the internet. i have qwest dsl with and actiontec modem/wireless gateway.

Can you clarify what model iMacs you have? This forum is for the older G4 iMAcs with the articulated monitor and a hemispherical base. However, due to poor forum labeling, many people with newer iMacs are lured to this area. Reset procedures may vary with model so it's important we know which variant you have. Use "About the Mac" in the Apple menu to find your processor type--that should be enough for now.
Once you you figure out the processor type, append it to the equipment info in you profile, Example: it now says "iMac." If you find yours has a G5 processor, change it to read "iMac G5." That will save you a lot of keystrokes down the road.

HTMLResources works when tested local but won't work when the folio is uploaded

creating a DPS app with on the cover, inside a popup, a button that calls a pdf in the HTMLResources.zip
Button's function
HTMLResources/cover/filename.pdf
filename.pdf sits in the folder 'cover' inside the HTMLResources folder before zipping.
This works when I test it local, and it has worked online some days ago in a previous release of the folio.
But since this morning I always get this error:
"The requested url was not found an this server." (-1100)
I've checked everything twice and the online Folio Producer tells the HTMLResources.zip is uploaded
Any ideas what could be wrong ? How to solve this ?

Need help, used to play .mov but won't now, how do i fix this??

A white playback area means you're missing the proper video codec.
Use the Movie Inspector window to find out what's used and a Google search to find that codec right your your machine.

ATV will transfer music and movies but won't transfer photos

I have just purchased a new PC and when I sync itunes I can transfer all my music, movies, podcasts etc with no problems, but when I click the tab to add photos I get an error message which says that Apple TV is not responding and asks me to check firewall settings for port 3689.
When I follow the link port 3689 is already there and checked.
Can anyone help me to understand why I can transfer all my items except for my photo's.
I am not streaming, I have a physical connection between PC and ATV.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Understood that you are a PC user:
check any other software (antivirus, internet security) to verify that they are not blocking that port.
Check any photo folder security settings; modify as required.
Reset both the PC and Apple TV as a troubleshooting measure.

Printer connected, printer works, but won't print from Mac

I'm helping someone with a printer problem, and I have a mystery on my hands.
The printer is connected (directly), shows up in the printer list, can print a test page, but won't print any document from this computer (it's fine from my laptop).
It's a Mid-2011 Mini, 2.3Ghz, running 10.7.5. The printer is an Epson WF-2540.
This is a USB printer, connected directly to their Mac.
In "Settings", when you select Print/FAX and print a "Test Page" - Success! This is a process that invokes the Epson Driver directly [and bypasses the MAC print queuing mechanism]
When "Printing" from within any application (firefox, TextEdit, winders...)   The job starts to queue, but errors before engaging the printer.
R & R the Epson Drivers, Clear the Printer "stuff" on the Mac, Reinstall drivers from the Epson website, Mac wants to update the "newest" Epson Drivers (kinda' funny when I think about it...).
Still errors.
I attached directly to a USB port on my MacBook Pro. Download drivers, etc.. Works like a champ!
We have deleted the printer from System Prefs, rebooted, and added it back.
We have even gone into Terminal and...
sudo bash
cd /etc/cups/ppd
ls
found EPSON_WF_2540_Series.ppd
cp * /var/tmp/
ls /var/tmp/*.ppd
rm /etc/cups/ppd/*
Still doesn't work.

Issue playing scenes in test movie animations stop playing

I'm fairly new to adobe flash so I hope I use the right terms when asking this question. I am using AS2 in CS5.5.
I am creating a project for a class that introduced me to adobe flash. The issue is I have gotten to a certain point about 15 scenes.
During say the 15th scene scrolling through the timeline animations works fine, playing it on test scene works fine. When I go to play it on test movie it stops at a certain point.
At first I thought it might have been a misplaced stop action but there is none to be found. The weird part is every other scene I create after that
continues to freeze as well, the images are there, but the animations won't play. All my previous animations play before those with the issue, it's just
These new ones won't play for some reason in test movie, but work completely fine in test scene and the timeline. Can anyone help me figure this out please?

to remedy, remove one or more scenes from your original fla by shift-clicking all the frames/layers in a scene and pasting into a new fla. save the new fla with a new name and publish a new swf that you can load into your original.
there's no limit to how many swfs can be loaded into your original. you might find it convenient to put each scene (after your first few) into their own fla/swf.

Setting flashvars in AS3 when testing movie

Does anyone know how to set flashvars when running a movie in CS4 using Control->Test Movie? Under ActionScript 2 I could just set _root.flashVar, what's the equivalent in AS3?

In AS3, the flashvar parameters don't appear as top level properties, they are found under "root.loaderInfo.parameters". So I can look up a parameter like this:
trace("myVar=" + root.loaderInfo.parameters.myVar);
I'd like to be able to do something like setting this parameter in my test code like this:
root.loaderInfo.parameters.myVar="test value";
...but this doesn't seem to work. No error message when I try this (either running "Test Movie" in CS4 or running in Flash Player in FireFox). Looking at the doc page for flash.display.LoaderInfo, it says that the "parameters" property is readonly.
I wish there were some kind of dialog in CS4 to allow me to set up flash vars for testing under Control->Test Movie, but if there is such a thing, I haven't found it yet!

Buggy test movie

Hi,
I'm testing a movie clip in which a 3-D effect (image flip using the 3-D rotation tool) exists. Unfortunately, the movie clip doesn't show up as intended via Test Movie, but works fine when I do a Test Scene. What gives? Is this a bug.

I installed-enabled MS win media player firefox 1.0.0.8, i still did not get streaming, error box comes up and says 'stream load error', the 'windows media test' thing did not work, i tried iheart radio-no luck, so i disabled win media player plug-in dynamic link library 3.0.2629 and tested and still did not work, i also have plug ins: silverlight 5.0.61118.0 and quicktime 7.6.9 7.6.9.0 enabled. I don't know why all of the sudden i have a stream problem with firefox, yesterday, i tried on IE which i never use and had no problem with it. i will try to do more trouble shooting and see, its really frustrating, if can't figure out, i guess will have to revert back to IE which i really don't want to do, but---oh well. thx for help.
