Struts - tiles definition not reflecting for a JSP

Hi everyone, I am struggling with this problem since 2 weeks..I will be thankful to you if u can tell me the solution...the problem is :
In my tiles-defs.xml, all the definitions are working fine but for only one jsp, its not getting reflected. I want my jsp to extend another JSP to display common menu and header. I added the below definition in the xml but its not working...

Already the below definitions are present in the xml and they are working fine...but the one i added is not working

I am working on a BC4j Struts based project.I was on my way to implement tile definition thru a xml file and implementing do action forwards,for ex welcome.do,viewreport.do.For doing this I had to change the controller entry in struts-config.xml from

How to solve this?How to make both strut actions and bc4j actions work inside a project...can 2 request processors be used at the same time...

Portal text personalization not reflecting for all uses

Hi Gurus
I have personalized a text in the iView.
I have Administrator access on the Portal.
The personalization of the text reflects for users with administrative privilages.
But for normal users the personalization does not show up (this is the goal)
Please guide how can i make the iview personalization visible to all users

It asks me to go to the page through the role and click on edit on the bottom
The problem i am facing is, I am not able to click on Page and edit. I am only able to click on the iView and edit
Now, the custom messages are not displayed for the administrators as well, it just displays the change on the preview screen
Is there something wrong with the link between the Role and the Page?
Is this a problem with the permissions for Role, Page, iView?
Please guide what to check.

Select or setup a default value and on the "price adoption" tab you may choose how copying of conditions from last purchase order must behave. Select "Do not copy".

Changes in prompts not reflecting for some users

Good Morning all,
I have changed a number of dashboard prompts in 11.1.1.5 to default to a dynamic repos variable.
The changes are shown on my obiee, and some other users obiee. But some users are not seeing the changes that I have made. i.e. the prompt still defaults to a hardcoded value which was the case before I changed it.
Tried:
-logging in and out
-closing cursors
-removing any saved customizations.
Note I made the changes last week so everyone has logged in and out.
Any ideas why this is happening?

Users have cleared browser caches,
I have cleared obiee cache.
Do you mean clearing the query cache via command line?
Please note that this is dev environment so caching is turned off for obiee.

Custom theme not reflected for Panel control in HRTMC_SHORT_PROFILE application.

Hi All
After the ECC and portal upgrade , I have been facing issues with most of the application being visible in standard SAP theme.
Some changes were resolved by changing the parameter parpghtbgcolor etc.
For the Short Profile panel under HRTMC_SHORT_PROFILE application , the colour of the Panel bar is coming in blue instead of custom theme.
Can you please suggest which parameter value should be changed under
System Administration -> Support -> Themes -> Update Customer Unified Rendering Theme Parameters
Please reply at the earliest.

Reading the other issues with the missing Certificate/License on the BIOS has plagued a few other MSI motherboards but has been fixed with BIOS updates - I've submitted a support request to MSI but haven't heard anything back yet. I can't beleive they can/would miss something like this out, it's an integral feature of the Z68 chipset!
I might see if the retailer I bought it from will accept it back for a refund, I'll either get an ASUS or the GD80, unless someone can suggest anything else or MSI come up with a BIOS update sharpish!

I am using CQ 5.5 and was installed service pack 2.
1. We make package from SVN or through maven build to the CQ dev server.
2. JSP changes perfect but /var/classes java files contains old code(i.e new JSP file complitation is not happening )
3. Only when we restart server, /var/classes reflecting with new code other /var/classes have old code only.
What is best procedure to re-compile JSP with out Restart server.

Updations done in valueChangelistener not reflected in jsp page.

I want to update most of my backing bean properties in a value change listener. But the changes made in valueChangeListener merthod are not reflected in my jsp page. Can anyone explain how to do this?

Changes are not reflecting on same system for WD Component

Hi ,
I have one interesting issue , I have done some changes in Webdynpro component , changes are reflecting for some users but not reflecting for some other users on the same system. Can anyone tell me why it is behaving like that ?
In R/3 I have faced this issue , this is one option of GENERATE via this I have resolved this issue but how i will do it here?

Jrun struts oracle jdc - not able to open pages

Hi,
I am using JRun4 / JDK1.4.2 with struts. I use Oracle JDBC for RDBMS.
My prob:
I am able to open the index page and created a login validation which is done by JDBC. Here I have a bean to validate the login and set the attributes accordingly. Now if I say submit with valid login details, it doesn't go to the next page.

Virtual Directory with struts-tiles

is have serious problems in configuring struts-tiles with virtual-directories for local developement. I have got my tiles-def.xml deployed in my ear. And i have got virtual-directory mapping, which works great, but not with tiles, because i want to include the jsp in my tiles-def.
is this possible? Does anybody have an experience?

A few methods that come to mind off hand would be:
1) Make an app on your server act as a proxy to the other app. That is, make a Servlet mapped to all URLs in the context. The servlet simply makes a corresponding request to the other server passing all pertinent information from the originating client. Your servlet then reads the response and pipes it directly to the response object
2) Try setting up a <context> element with the docBase attribute set to the other server's docBase. The other computer would have to give your server read/write access to the directory of interest. Since your server would be actually hosting the application you would have to check on environment and resources to make sure any required settings are duplicated properly.
3) Have the other application hosted on a different port, and your firewall map that port to their server and your port to your server.

Firefox beta 35 not ready for prime time.

I have spent the entire weekend trying to get the Firefox beta 35 to work. What I have found is that *all* extensions fail to work with the exception of Places Maintenance. I can not download any extension Firefox is so famous for. The error is something like "cannot install 'plugin-name' in it's current state." Enabling any extension require a FF restart, even Places Maintenance. Trying to remove an extension fails and must be done manually.
I am on Windows 7 Premium desktop Firefox, 32 bit. I "committed" myself to FF 35 last night (which meant clearing history and cache on exit because the extension "Expire History by Days" was no longer working), when I discovered that 35 was not playing nice with some sites using Flash. It was a capricious thing. Many sites worked as normal but some would not render at all. Examples:

First time I have has a problem with a Firefox beta, but it is definitely not ready for prime time. I realize FF is attempting to get away from what we are calling "Proprietary add-ons" but FF 35 in its present state will just fill the Moz Support forums with millions of complaints (guess I am one of the first). I have at present 1 extension (the only one that works on 35), the above mentioned "Places Maintenance."
I thought you might like this report as "user input." God knows I have tried...I must have downloaded 35 at least a dozen times and then been forced back to 34.0.5. So I am back on 34.0.5

Regarding Conditions not reflecting in Herarchy query

Hi Gurus,
I have a scenario where i have created query on a multiprovider. In the query designer i have selected infoobjects like region code, Director ... and in columns i have selected mileage, .....i have also selected in the Rows as Expand as Hierarchy.
The query is working fine. But the Conditions i have specified for mileage < 0 or anyother condition reflects only for region level. But it is not reflecting for Director level and subsequent lower level like manager..... In the condition i have selected for all characteristics.
Kindly guide me to reslove the issues.

Depending on the characteristics you have in your report you will need to change the Conditions to look at the mixture of individual characteristics rather than All characteristics in the drill down independently.
Open up the conditions dialogue box and make the relevant section in the "Evaluate the conditions displayed below for:"

Confirmed qty not displaying for main Item.

Dear Gurus
We have an Issue with Confirmed quantity for parent material
Material Determination is active- The Alternative material is confirmed in 2 different schedules and got delivered accordingly (228units and 204units).
Here we could find the same is not reflected for parent item- We find only one Confirmed quantity gets displayed. Only First confirmed schedule qty is shown in schedule line.
Could you please suggest why is it so and method to reftify it.

This happens whenever there is a delivery block set in the sales order due to credit limit check and the customer fails the credit check (excedes the credit limit set in FD31).
However, this can be removed by going to OVZ7 and removing the tick against 'conf block' set for delv block - 01.
