Submit a frame and get result on the next frame using one button

i have my page divided into 2 frames.1st frame (master.jsp)displays records from a master table and 2nd displays corresponding records in its transcation table(trans.jsp).There is a textbox in master.jsp which indicates the record number.Now this text field is to be submitted to the master page so as to get that record at the same time submit it to the trans page so as to get its corresponding transaction table records.
now i have two buttons with submitfrm() and getrecords()...function submitfrm()on submit button to submit the master page and function getrecords() on the 'Get record' button so as to call trans.jsp.

Queued up events are supposed to get processed the next frame, but in practice it is not true!

According to Adobe's documentation found here, there are 3 parts to runtime code execution: events, the enterFrame event, and rendering. Events, it says, are processed during the first part. It then states:
If events occur during other parts of the execution cycle, the runtime queues up those events and dispatches them in the next frame.
However, when I'm seeing a low framerate, and lots of input events occur (say mouseclicks for example), those events are sometimes not executed until several seconds and 10s of frames later. According to that documentation, all my mouseclicks should be processed on the next frame and the event queue should then be empty (assuming I don't click during the next frame). This problem only occurs in Firefox and Internet Explorer. Chrome, Safari, and the standalone player behave correctly, in that they process all input events on the following frame.
Why is this happening? It seems like the Firefox and IE plugins implement event handling differently than what is described in the flash documentation, or is it possible the browsers are responsible for delaying the input to flash?

each clock cycle, if no new objects were created and no previously created objects are eligible for gc:
Flash checks for any events completed from the previous cycle.
Then it executes the listener function code, if there is any, for those events.
Then if you have code on a frame that was just entered, that code will execute.
Then it dispatches the Event.ENTER_FRAME event to all your listeners for that event.
Then the display is rendered.
in view of that and knowing that time alone cannot be used to determine in which cycle anything occured in flash, what evidence do you have that an event dispatched in one cycle failed to be detected by a listener in the next cycle?

Untread Text Frames without losing text in the second frame

I probably not gonna use the right terms to express my question because I don't have an english version of ID. I'm sorry for that.
If you, for example, import a text document into your column-based layout, you are able to automate the text flow and it will flow into the columns. At the end of each frame there's a text-handler (threading text) that shows you where the text continues in the next frame.
I wanna know if there's a possibility to unthread text AND leave the text into the first column and the rest of the text into the next column WITHOUT being connected like before. If I try this I get a red plus-sign at the end of the first frame showing me there more text and the next frame ends up without text.
I can cut the text from behind the plus-sign and paste it into the next frame, okay. But there's something in my memory telling me it was already possible with Pagemaker to simply disconnect frames and leave the text intact.
I hope somebody understands my question?

This is only correct for new created document, not for existing ones. If the problem existis in an existing document you have to change the default style with no object selected.
I would strongly recommend to create its own basic styles for each category and load them into the several style panels to have always styles with the same name in every document which makes exchange of items easier.
Default Object styles are those with the small rectangle graphic at the right. The one with the T ist for Text frames, the one without T for Image Frames.

It's not clear from your post what you are asking. In a SQL database, you use the INSERT statement to insert a row into a table. You use the SELECT statement to retrieve rows. Here's some basic info on how to do that within PHP

Moving to another frame as a result of the previous

Hello again guys,
Just another question - is it possible to go to another frame as a result of the previous one you came from. So for instance, I have some a picture displayed on frame 1 that I wish to keep referring to. So in frame 2 I create a button that goes back to frame 1, equally I do the same in frames 5 and 6, so there are 3 frames that return to frame 1. I then want frame 1 to return to each of the individual frames based on the one you have just come from. So for instance, I returned from frame 5 to frame 1, I then wish to return from frame 1 to frame 5 by pressing another button. The same button must then return you to frames 2 and 6 respectively based on which frame you just came from (2 back to 2 and 6 back to 6). Is this possible or am I barking up the wrong tree and am I going to have to make multiple frames with the same picture and changing the action script for the button?!

assign a variable to store the previous frame and use that variable in your frame 1 button:

Using the warp tool I'm stabilizing my video and getting rid of the edge artifacts. Analyizing is clear on how long the process will take, but when it stabilizes I only get three moving dots. I there a way to know when the process will stop? Thanks.

Warp Stabilising is a two part process.
Analysis and Stabilising.
Both have a banner across the Program Monitor during the process ( unless you have turned that off.
Analysis start automatically on forst application...but you can rock in there and start adjusting the parameters.
You may need to hit "Analyse" Button again.
You should see the number of frames and the estimated duration during this process.

Since recent updates, I have noticed that my apps close automatically when I am distracted. In some cases it is time consuming to sign back in and get back to the task I was doing. Is it possible to change a setting so the apps will stay open?

Since recent updates of iOS, I have noticed when using my iPad that my apps close automatically when I have to leave the room or am otherwise distracted for a few minutes. It is sometimes time consuming to sign back in and get back to the task where i left off. Is there a setting I can change so it will keep the apps open until I am ready to close them? Did you have this problem before Restoring you iPad?
If you did then did you restore with a backup. You may have reinstalled something that is conflicting in this back up
If not then sounds like either something went array with the clean install or a hardware issue.
I know it's long winded but have you tired a clean install then downloading the apps again?

There are two names/accounts on the phone and prior to the update there was just the one. I have tried entering every conceivable password that I have ever used and get the incorrect password error every time. The apps on the iPhone are apparently associated with several/different accounts. I just want to get everything back to the way it was. One id and one password with purchases associated with just one account that can be updated on my computer as well as my iPhone.

Or if you don't want to give credit card details : Create an iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store account without a credit card or other payment method
But you won't be able to transfer purchases from your old account to it, all content that you download from the store will remain tied to the account that downloaded it.

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:

Adobe reader (11.3.2) PDF's on ipad and getting error that the file is corrupt!!

i have the latest Adobe reader from the app store (11.3.2) however i am struggling to open PDF's on ipad and getting error that the file is corrupt!!

Would you describe how you transferred the PDF file to your iPad and iPhone? Did you send it as an email attachment and open it on your iPad and iPhone?
The file may have been corrupted by Apple Mail, which is a known problem. Please see Problem #1 in the FAQ document How to avoid known PDF email attachment problems.
Would you try some experiments so that we can troubleshoot the problem? During the experiments, please use cloud storage (e.g. Acrobat.com, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.) and avoid sending the PDF file as an email attachment.
Rename the corrupted/damaged PDF file on your iPad. For example, add "_damaged.pdf" to the file name.
Upload the corrupted/damaged PDF file to the cloud storage of your choice.
Download the corrupted/damaged PDF file from the cloud storage to your Windows or Mac desktop computer.
Open it in the desktop version of Adobe Reader XI for Windows or Mac.
Does Adobe Reader XI on your desktop computer display an error message?
Upload the (good) PDF file on your iPhone to the cloud storage.
Download the (good) PDF file from the cloud storage to your iPad.
Open it in Adobe Reader on your iPad.
