Subscript within CS5?

I am currently developing a chemical formula application that receives input from a user directly from a text area. My problem is displaying this input with subscript (eg: H20 with the 2 displayed below the baseline). Subscript can be entered when developing the application, but can it be displayed when the application is running? Is there any way I can apply subscript to numbers that are entered automatically?
Ideally, I would like a student to enter some text, highlight the characters they want in subscript, and then click a subscript button that calls some actionscript. Is this possible? There seems to be lots of people who have had similar problems but no solutions as of yet. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks guys I finally got this working. Now that I can allow a user to enter subscript I need to compare text that contains subscript. To set subscript I used:
spanEle.alignmentBaseline = TextBaseline.DESCENT;
There is no method to retrieve the baseline value though. I am still completely stuck on this. Does anyone know how to test a span element to get it's baseline?

Your next option is to upgrade photoshop. If you can't afford the full version (less than $20/month) you could get elements, it uses the latest version of camera raw, but I think it is a stripped down version though.

Help with starting my subscription on cs5? Says they're unable to start my subscription?

My serial code is valid but it says (quote) "We are unable to start your subscription for Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 Extended Subscription Edition". Please help! I'm eager to try this photoshop considering many people have recomended it over CS6!!

Photoshop CS5.1 (12.1) was the first version which supported subscription licensing.

Adjusting WHITE BALANCE within CS5 ?????

Is there a way of adjusting White Balance, in R3D files shot with a RED-One, "within" Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 ?
Or, would I need to upgrade to CS5.5 to do that?

Which version of Premiere Pro, exactly? If 5.0.2 or later, you should be able to load the RMD (RED metadata) file associated with the clip. If you did any color adjustments to correct for white balance in, say, REDCINE-X, then loading the RMD file will reflect those changes.

Photo stream doesn't use space in your personal account so purchasing additional storage wouldn't be necessary even if you could exceed 1000 photos. But to answer your question, contact the Apple online store for your country to request a refund (1-800-MY-APPLE in the U.S. and Canada).

Problem with using mouse scrollwheel within CS5?

Hey all. Just upgraded my PS from CS3 to CS5, and I seem to be running into issues with the scrollwheel on my mouse.
When trying to use it from inside CS5 (say, inside a long 'Open...' window), it seems to lock up the entirety of Photoshop for a moment or two every few seconds. Checking the net out there, it looks like there appeared to be a problem with mouse wheels, but that was supposedly fixed nearly a year ago.
I checked for any updates or patches, but the most recent update I can see on the Adobe site is to 12.0.4, which has me doubly confused, as my copy of CS5 say that it is version 12.1, which, theoretically, is a more recent copy...?
I can provide system info, etc. if needed, but since I have not found anything along these lines since a year ago, I'm guessing there's probably some simple thing I'm missing somewhere.

You mean Photoshop plugins? No, the version of CS5 I'm having issues with is fresh as a daisy, just digitally downloaded and run for the first time earlier today. I think my old copy of CS3 has some, however, although since they are not being loaded into CS5 (presumably) I'm guessing those wouldn't be the culprit. If this helps any:

End of subscription within 7 days

Hello,
I have just received a warning saying that my student/teacher CC subscription ends in 7 days. I wasn't expecting this because I thought I had started my year subscription in May or even June of last year, not sure really, but I can't seem to find the beginning date of my subscription, just the expiration.
Where can I find the start date of my student subscription? And how can I avoid an automatic renewal of what would then be the full priced package?

Your membership was activated on Feb 10th, 2014.
Your account would only renew at the regular student/teacher plan price if you have added payment details to your account. Otherwise it will expire on Feb 10, 2015.

Can't update form within CS5 help/update

After opening CS5, going to help and clicking update, I get a message from adobe application manager, the server is down or check settings on firewall. This has been going on from day one after installing, for months.
I downloaded the lastest adobe application manager, installed, but still not working.
What am I doing wrong ?

Have you checked either your windows firewall settings or your virus scan software
for blocking of internet connections for cs5?

Intensity Pro not recognized within CS5.0.3

Had to format the drive.
Adobe CS 5 Production Premium
Windows 7 64bit
Quad-core
12gb ram
2 raid 0 + system drive
All adobe software is up to date.
All physical connections checked and re-checked.
Using composite from a VCR.
Installed software for Intensity card from CD rom.
Was informed of a firmware update.
Also installed latest driver.
Card not seen within Adobe in the capture option.
Card does not capture natively with its own BMD software.
Card shows up in Windows start menu, but that's all.
Feb 25 2013
Uninstalled card.
Re-installed the intensity version 3.9.4
Card now recognized in Adobe.
But still see nothing upon capture.
Re-updated firmware.
Card still seen in Adobe, but now captures in Black and white only.
Only difference here is the root install.
1st install was from CD rom.
This time it was from a version I had saved some time ago.
So now I have to figure out why it's capturing in black and white.
Anyone..?

Eric at ADK actually resolved this for me. I hadn't uninstalled the previous driver for the quadro 5000 card when that driver was updated and premiere was having issues with the multiple nividia drivers so it was really an nvidia issue. He unistalled all the previous drivers for the quadro and that fixed the issue.
Can't say enough wonderful things about Eric and ADK. Very friendly and patient but most importantly knowledgeable.
