Supplier consignment

Can anyone suggest a report to get vendor consignment spend, by period and factory location.
Standard reports seem to work off GR quantities and the value in SAP at that point . As consignment posting have no value at that point the reports return no value.

  • MRP  supplier consignment create delivery for  Scheduling Agreement

    Hello,
We have a situation where MRP is used to calculate for a material which is subject to supplier consignment and also to scheduling agreement. When we run the MRP generates purchase requisitions for the consignment material , but it does not find the scheduling agreement for the material. We expected that it would create deliveries for the scheduling agreement.
The question is, is it possible to obtain deliveries from the MRP for the scheduling agreement?
    Thanks a lot
    Ignasi

Yes, it seems the problem was in Quota Arrangements which was not  well defined for consignment material.
    Thanks.

  • Service ECC_INVENTORY002QR - unexpected response content

    Hi,
I'm testing enterprise service ECC_INVENTORY002QR / InventoryByLocationAndMaterialQueryResponse_In from package SAP APPL with a nonSAP application..
    http://es-workplace.sap.com/socoview(bD1lbiZjPTAwMSZkPW1pbg==)/render.asp?id=C4BA00F8860E11DB2B24000F20DAC9EF&fragID=&packageid=DE0426DD9B0249F19515001A64D3F462&iv=
SAP APPL 6.05 SP8 is installed at the ECC-System.
For given Location, LogisticsArea, MaterialID and BatchID I want to get the amounts of own stock and supplier consignemnt stock with unrestricted use.
For the supplier consignment stock the SupplierID is needed too.
There are 38276 pieces of unrestricted use supplier consignment stock at the logistics area.
    The service seem's to work.
But I'm wondering about the extensive response.
There is always a section "ExpectedInventoryChange" with ChangeTypeCode=3 and ChangeReasonCode=15 in the response.
Blocked/Restricted stock is sent 3 times for own stock and 3 times for consignment stock.
Has anyone an idea why blocked/restricted stock is sent 3 times in the response or why the "ExpectedInventoryChange" is sent?
Is this the right place at SCN for this question?

    Hi adil,
According to your description, my understanding is that you got an error when you created an External Content Type.
For resolving your issue, please do the following trobuleshooting :
1.Whether you have used AAM for your site. If yes, please create Enternal Content Type using the orginal URL rather then the AAM URL.
2.Please verify the Bussiness Data Connectivity Service and Managed Metadata Web Service are started as CA->Application Management->Manage services on server under Service Applications
3.Open Application Management -> Manage services applications, find the Bussiness Data Connectivity Service Application, and in the Status column, verify that the service proxy status is Started.
4.Please check whether the authentication is using Windows Integrated Authentication (NTLM) in CA-> Application Management->Manage web applications-> your web application->Authentication Providers.
If this issue still exists, I suggest you delete Bussiness Data Connectivity Service Application, and create a new one.
    I hope this helps.

  • Change string value by adding a transaction key in T156

    Hello expert,
My client want to add the transaction key BSX in the string value used for the code movement 261 k (good issue
    of supplier consignment stock).
SAP Active Global Support respond that changes of value string for standard movement types are not supported.
However we want if possible to change that : is there a way to do that?
    Thanks for your response.
    Céline Ouali

    Hi,
If you just want to use new transaction or account modifier without changing value/quantity string, you can do that in T156X.
    Otherwise, i.e. to update value/quantity string -
Create a custom value string with reference to SAP standard WA03. Update the Value/Quantity string for movement type 261 K in table T156S. Goto SE11 - Display Contents - Create/Maintain Entries.
You need to add custom transaction keys/account modifiers for value strings in table T156W.
    Thanks

  • Removal of waste material from factory.

    Dear All,
I have the following scenario, A material x is generated from my manufacturing process, which is excisable.
But for dispatching of this material from my factory premises, I have to pay the  Customer / Vendor  money ( Credit Memo) according to the dispatch quantity.
How do I map this scenario,
Any valuable answers will be given the maximum points.
    Deepak

    hi deepak
The scenario you mentioned is elaborated below :
A product X is manufatcured by me.
I buy raw material for manufacturing product X from my vendor/supplier.
Based on the quantity of X  I manufacture and dispatch , I pay the supplier for the consumed stock quantity .
See if this is the process then isn't it similar to consignmnt process?
Supplier ===> Consignment fill up of raw materials at my end. suppose 100 nos
Me ===> Pick up the material and then the supplier does a consignement issue.
Ie Raise an invoice for the quanity picked up by me.
I pick up 50 for production
Now once i manufacture the product using 50 nos
    of raw material.
Do either i can raise a credit memo  for the supplier or pay him .
But you want to raise a credit memo for the same.
Let the accruals for this credit be tracked in the system.
    hope this helps
Reward wil suitable points if useful

  • MOT is changing for PO  in APO

    Hi ,
Means of transport is changing for  PO in APO .
For Standard PO : it is picking 0005 MOT.
For Consignment PO :it is picking 0003 MOT.
Every thing is same in inforecord and TL .
    Please suggest.
    Manish

    Hi ,
    Let me rephrase my question.
When i manually create Purchase orders in R/3 and CIF it to APO.
On PO is picking means of transport 003 (Consignment PO) and other (Standard PO) is picking means of transport 005 with same future delivery date .
I have 2 inforecord one for Consignment PO and other for standard PO.
Even if I create PR in APO and send it to APO with Source of supply Consignment and standard  Info record it is behaving same when we convert PR to PO in R/3.But PR's  MOT is same in APO before cifing to R/3.
We have already created TL in APO by cifing PIR  from R/3.
I checked all the setting (like Planned delivery time etc) in Info record and contract and TL all are same.
Or if we go to basics please help me in understanding  u201Cbasis of picking means of transport in APO and what is the link between R/3 means of transport and APO means of transport.

  • Consigned stock from Supplier side

    Hi Team,
We have a requirement where the Supplier keeps stock at his dealer's point (the sock quantity to be put at Dealer point is worked out manually which is outside oracle). Supplier wants visibility of inventory till the stock is sold by Dealer to end customer. Once the dealer sells the item, the Supplier will deplete stock ownership from him to dealer and invoice the dealer for the sale. The price is already fixed for the invoice. This is similar to Consignment from supplier side, where we want to configure dealers as organizations/subinventory and create an IR-ISO process. The depletion of stock part and invoice generation part is something where we are not sure.
We do not want to use the standard oracle process wherein the flow starts with data collection to manage the order levels, then BPA,,etc... as we already have the process of IR-ISO we do not want to disturb the same. Even not sure about utilization of consumption rule in this case. Inputs are highly appreciated.
    B/R,
    Nirabh Nayan

    Hi Jesica,
    Thanks but
Line flow -generic, Bill only with inventory interface, which means the moment you ship confirm the Order, it depletes the stock. Is my understanding correct.
Do u ship confirm the Sales Order when the customer informs you that he has sold you the stock to his end customer. Can you please elaborate your process for my understanding.
If I remember correctly, then Line flow -generic, Bill only with inventory interface does not support serailised items. In our case, 90% of the items are serial controlled.
    With Best Regards,

  • Vendor Consignment stock or vendor managed stock

    Dear All,
My client wants to manage vendor consignment stock.
Vendor will be given a area and vendor will keep the stock in his area. Based on the plan he will supply the stock.
the GR for rawmaterials will be made on the consumption report given by the production person. This activity will happen next day only. i will do the GR only to the quantity consumed.
for example if i consumed 100 qty, i will do GR only for 100 and vendor will issue invoice for 100. But when the vendor issue the stock, he will raise a excise invoice based on which i have to take excise credit. I want to know how to do the same.
secondly, i take credit for 100 qty, but actual consumption is 95 only, how do i reverse the 5 only excise invoice.
    regards
    ranga

No, it is possible to sell from vendor consignment stock directly and I have done it in ECC 6.0 (not IS-retail).
    - Pls refer the note 607604.
    - Establish the 'stock determination rule' in MM -> Inventory Management -> Stock Determination.
    - You need to assign it to the material (MRP3 view) or assign it to item-ategory.
    - DONOT mark the special stock indicator in item-category used in SD (e.g. TAN) with 'K'..I did this mistake and wasted some time. If you do, it will ask you to populate the Vendor field in the Delivery which is not available and you may get stuck up because of that.
    This should make it work.
Pls award points if you find this information useful.

  • Intercompany Stock transfer with Consignment

    Experts -
I ran into one scenario for intercompany stock transport order with Consignment
    Company A: USA 3000, Plant 3000
    Company B: Germany 1000, Plant 1000
Germany 1000 orders parts from USA (3000)
Condition here is "Ownership remains to 3000, unless 1000 move parts to their own stock"
Is this possible with intercompany STO?
I can do processing without Consignment, but with consignment it is giving following error:
"No delivery type defined for supplying plant 3000 and document type NB - Message no. 06694" -
    We are running ECC 6.0
    Thanks-

    Hi,
For PO document type + Supplying Plant combination, you will have to assign the InterCompany delivery type NLCC
SPRO>Materials Management>Purchasing>Purchase Order>Set up Stock Transport Order-->Assign Delivery Type and Checking Rule
But, for companies across countries, like US and Germany, regular SD's consignment sales process may be ideal.  I have recently designed one complete scenario for this and working fine...
Consignment Fill-up, Consignment Issue, Consignment Pickup and Consignment Returns process ....This perfectly works with standard SAP solution and very rarely you would require any modifications in this area.

  • Post freight cost to a different a GL account during 411-K for consignment PO Process

We are planning to implement PO consignment for one of the client.
The scenario is, client pays the freight cost to the supplier in advance upon receipt of consignment stock .When consignment stock is moved to own stock (411k), during the movement of the stock we need to create two accounting entries one for the material cost and the other for freight cost such that the freight can be adjusted with advance paid freight cost. Freight cost can be settled manually with another PO but the requirement is moving average price of the material should include the  cost of material  and freight cost .
For an example if the material cost is $100(PB00) and freight cost is $10(FAR1 - 10%), during 411k it  should create  two entries one for material cost($100) and the other for freight cost($10) which can be adjusted manually.
We tried by adding freight condition (FRA1) in consignment info record along with PB00 –Gross price and in this case during 411k it is summing both the prices($110) and posting to one GL account and the same settles during MRKO  but what we are looking for is how we can split this into $100 and $10 .
I know standard SAP does not support this this during 411k.
I want to know if there is any User exit, pricing procedure, routines, etc...  Or any other way that can be used to achieve this requirement. Appreciate more detailed answer

    Hi,
As you know, currently the delivery cost are not supported in consignment and pipeline settlement. The system design is explained in the note: 208555 - MB11 Delivery costs for pipeline and consignment.
If you want delivery cost in consignment, you have to go for development. There should be additional entry for delivery costs in RKWA table. I am not sure about the feasibility, but still would like to share the below points:
For creating additional entry in the accounting document while doing MB1B / MB11, you may check the BADI AC_DOCUMENT.
You may refer the note: 165647 - Documentation: Enhancement RMVKON00 (MM-IV) which explains some enhancements related to consignment settlement.

Thanks for the quick response. I did maintain Purchasing info record using ME12. We do see pricing information at the time Production order backflsh. However contract and PO has no pricing information. Therefore initial GR is created with zero price. However at the time consumption against prod order, consignment material gets price from the Purchase info record. Bur consumption documents are not linked back to PO.When I try to cost these material using CK11N, SAP gives following messages,

The company B settles the goods issues (trx MRKO) and this process creates a credit memo to company A.
The company A finishes with the billing that creates an invoice to company B.
I want to know what have to consider about the billing in both processes (MM and SD), because in this case I would have 2 legal document (credit memo of company B and invoice of company A) of the same materials.
    Thanks.

    Anibal,
In MRKO you are settling for the goods you received that means you are posting an auto invoice in company B (assuming that your info records and contracts are maintained correctly with the correct prices) as if you have got a invoice from the company A
I think you are incorrectly understanding that this is an invoice that is going from A to B agian. The document generated in MRKO is equivalent to one we get in MIRO which goes to AP(payables) of company B to settle with AR(receivables) of A.
    From SAP Help,
The use of consignment and pipeline settlement reduces the cost of stockholding in the company by:
Reducing the flow of paper and administration work
Minimizing transport costs by using collective transports
And, for a modest capital tie-up, increased security of supply is guaranteed with minimal inventory levels and short lead times
    Features
You do not expect an invoice from the vendor for goods withdrawals from consignment stocks or a pipeline. Instead you settle posted withdrawals and return deliveries yourself and send the vendor a statement of the settlement. You can perform this settlement periodically in the background. The following documents can be involved:
    Invoices
    Credit memos
Consignment settlement is connected to message determination. As a result, you can define a form in Customizing. A message record is created during each settlement. This message record completes the form. Depending on the system settings, you can send this form to the vendor immediately on posting or at a later time.
    Note
If you want to change document header data for consignment settlements, use the Business Add-In MRM_MRKO_HDAT_MODIFY. For more information, see the documentation for the Business Add-In.

  • Vendor Consignment for Split Valuated Materials

    Dear All,
We have a scenario where in our material is split valuated,we have 2 valuation type import and Domestic, both the valuation type is being supplied by a single distributor, the price of the import valuation type is different from the price of domestic valuation type.
We are trying to configure consiginment process for split valuted material. While maintianing consignment info record, we are not able to maintian separate info record for import and domestic valuation type (since material /vendor/plant/purchase organization are same).Hence while doing goods issue using 201 K, the system is taking the price from the info record. Is there any solution available, to post the  goods issue for import valuation type at a different price and domestic valuation type at different price.
    Thanks,
    Vairavan.

How system will pick the info record price for movement type 201 K ?
As of my knowledge, system will create accounting entry as per the material price (MM03 - Accounting 1 view for the valuation type)
It may create problem for 411 K movement type, but not for movement type 201 K.
If you need to pick different price as per valuation type, then you can do this via condition table.
Have a look into the discussion Info record Price on the basis of Valuation type

  • Picking two-step type of material on consignment

    Hi experts
I have a problem with the processing of materials on consignment at the time of the assignment sends message: Unable to determine location.
when the force generated OT be displayed on the field LT03 Stock Special (SOBKZ) is in white, and also the special Stock Number field (LSONR) that would be the supplier code of this blank.
Anticipation is running the store takes 701 to 200 and the program work well.
when I run the allocation step 2 with the movement of 601 a outlet delivery of output gives me the error.
Please any indication. thanks in advance.

    Thanks Csaba Szommer,,
the material that you work is an appropriated of supplier
1 .- The error that comes out is the number L3 008 has not been able to determine location.
2 .- The strategy of the first shot goes well, I attached the lot predefined in the delivery of output and well-executed strategy to get the material from shelves
       119  A   ESF     k        701 101 104
3 .- The system takes the material of the type of store 701 and brings it to the 200 with a fixed location, taking the number of group linked to the supply of output.
4 .- by the LX39 I run the second step allocation, at that time that I run the collective process, the system tells me that has not been able to determine location.
5 .- Seeing the protocol for determining locations tells me
          119   2   ESF                 200
if he realizes not see a particular stock's identifier K, therefore the system routed to the stock itself when the material is consigned. therefore can not identify the Lot proposed in the delivery of output.
