How do I get my new Apple ID associated with an older MacBookPro so that I don't get charged more than once for a purchased app when I download it to the older computer recently upgraded to Snow Leopard?

I recently upgraded my 2 year old MacBookPro to Snow Leopard so I could download Face Time and Final Cut ProX to it.
I've already purchased the apps and installed on my iMAC and Macbook Air.
After downloading Face Time I received the following mail;

I don't want to be charged twice for these apps, especially Final Cut ProX, so how can I get the MacBookPro associated with the Apple ID I'm using now?

This is probably a new precaution that Apple has taken to alert folks that something has occurred with their account that has not occurred before*, namely a Mac has downloaded something from their account that has not done so before. And as the notice says, if it was you doing so, then you may safely ignore the notice. Also, do not be alarmed, Apple refers to all downloads as purchases, even when they are free.
But if you are truly concerned about the notice then you can authorize the Mac with your iTunes account, which should be the same as your MAS account. Open iTunes on the older Mac and sign into your account. Then in the Store menu choose Authorize This Computer. Now this Mac is definitely associated with your account and can now play media that you purchase from the iTunes Store as well.
*My banks do the same thing when I pop up making a purchase with my bank cards somewhere in the world I have never made a purchase before. They call me and email me and want to know if it is indeed me using the card.

Try to change the credit information from your iphone or other ios device. Tap on settings > store > tap Apple ID > tap view account > tap payment information > change

However, I know there a quite a few number of changes. I raised this question more than a year ago, and the response I received had to do with the quality of the OCR and the scans of the documents. However, if I use Acrobat Pro XI to save the same documents in Word and then run a comparison in Word all of the changes are marked. When a PDF is saved as a Word document in Acrobat Pro XI, is a different OCR module being used than the one used in Acrobat Pro XI for text recognition?

OCR is only for recoginition of the image / picture of text provided by an scanner.
Content typed into a Word file which is converted to a PDF is (in Word and in PDF) *not* an image or picture of text - it is the digital text. So, no OCR involved.
When the "digital" (renderable) text of a PDF's page content is exported to Word no OCR is involved.
When a PDF's content is from the image output of a scanner and this is a picture of text then OCR comes into play.
If this content is exported to Word before doing OCR then it is the image that is exported to the Word file.
Once OCR is performed it is the OCR output that is exported.
OCR output is (always will be) impacted by "the quality of the OCR and the scans of the documents".
Regardless "Compare" is based on a Word file output to PDF1 then edits to the Word file followed by an output to PDF2. You use Acrobat Pro to do a compare of PDF1 & PDF2.
Paper 1 scanned to image 1 to image 1 in PDF1 that gets OCR 1 and
Paper 2 scanned to image 2 to image 2 in PDF2 that gets OCR 2
being processed with Acrobat Pro's Compare can certainly be done.
But - well you've described what can be observed.

Changing the Window Color of an JInternalFrame more than once

I want to change the color of an JInternalFrame when it was created. This could be more than once.
I know that i can use:
UIManager.put("InternalFrame.activeTitleBackground", Color.RED);
but this code only takes effect before the InternalFrame is createt

You are using iPhoto 9 (11)? If you are then the themes would be obvious when you select iPhoto as your mail client in iPhoto's General preference pane (upper left hand image)

However, I was mistaken in that the background colors for those themes can't be changed. The same goes for the stationary themes in Mail.

Also updated the backgroundColor to be cast to uint until the getter/setter is updated to return that (currently it is object)

My 2009 iMac freezes and won't run more than one application at a time - how can I fix this?

Help! My iMac has been getting worse regarding freezing, especially when trying to open iPhoto. It will load slowly, and then I get the pinwheel of death for ever, until I shutdown and try over again. It usually takes several tries, and usually overnight. How can I resolve this issue?

First, back up all data immediately, as your boot drive might be failing.
Step 1
This diagnostic procedure will query the log for messages that may indicate a system issue. It changes nothing, and therefore will not, in itself, solve your problem.
If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window (command-V). I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, you may have to press the return key.
The command may take a noticeable amount of time to run. Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign (“$”) to appear.
A TextEdit window will open with the output of the command. Normally the command will produce no output, and the window will be empty. If the TextEdit window (not the Terminal window) has anything in it, stop here and post it — the text, please, not a screenshot. The title of the TextEdit window doesn't matter, and you don't need to post that.
Step 2
There are a few other possible causes of generalized slow performance that you can rule out easily.
Disconnect all non-essential wired peripherals and remove aftermarket expansion cards, if any.
Reset the System Management Controller.
Run Software Update. If there's a firmware update, install it.
If you're booting from an aftermarket SSD, see whether there's a firmware update for it.
If you have a portable computer, check the cycle count of the battery. It may be due for replacement.
If you have many image or video files on the Desktop with preview icons, move them to another folder.
If applicable, uncheck all boxes in the iCloud preference pane. See whether there's any change.
Check your keychains in Keychain Access for excessively duplicated items.
Boot into Recovery mode, launch Disk Utility, and run Repair Disk.
If you have a MacBook Pro with dual graphics, disable automatic graphics switching in the Energy Saverpreference pane for better performance at the cost of shorter battery life.
Step 3
When you notice the problem, launch the Activity Monitor application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Activity Monitor in the icon grid.
Select the CPU tab of the Activity Monitor window.
Select All Processes from the View menu or the menu in the toolbar, if not already selected.
Click the heading of the % CPU column in the process table to sort the entries by CPU usage. You may have to click it twice to get the highest value at the top. What is it, and what is the process? Also post the values for User, System, and Idle at the bottom of the window.
Select the Memory tab. What value is shown in the bottom part of the window for Swap used?
Next, select the Disk tab. Post the approximate values shown for Reads in/sec and Writes out/sec (not Reads in andWrites out.)
Step 4
If you have more than one user account, you must be logged in as an administrator to carry out this step.
Launch the Console application in the same way you launched Activity Monitor. Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Select the 50 or so most recent entries in the log. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combinationcommand-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V). You're looking for entries at the end of the log, not at the beginning.
When posting a log extract, be selective. Don't post more than is requested.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Important: Some personal information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting. That should be easy to do if your extract is not too long.

Not allow more than one person to change program

My requirement is that i want to change details of purchase order in module pool programming. I dont want more than one prson to change the same purchase order at the same time. Can someone tell me how can i achive this.

Is this a Z module pool or you are talking about the standard.
If it is Z module pool create a new lock object of type exclusive or look out for standard lock object for purchase order in SE11.
after generating the custome lock object SAP would generate 2 function modules 1) Enqueue_<lock object name> (Request lock) 2) Dequeue_<lock object name>(Release lock).
call these lock FM'S in your module pool likely in the PBO call the Enqueue FM and process your transaction and finally by the end of the transaction call the Dequeue FM to release the lock locked.
I believe you can try with the lock object 'EMEKKOE'

Recently changed documents command does not work

Using DW CS5. German version.
When I want to access all the files that have been changed recently, I get an error message
" when OnClick in SelectRecentlymodified.html , following Javaccript-Errors occured:
In Line 370 of the file "C:Programme/Adobe/Adobe DReamweaver C5/Configuration/Menus/MM/SelectRecentModified.js":
DWfile.getAttributes (listItem) has no properties.

Now I realized that this problem occurs only with one site definition.
Anyone has any more suggestions? Could reinstalling DWCS5 help?
Try this -
1. Open DW's SiteManager, select this site's name, and export the site definition (make sure you do a full site definition export including the FTP information). Save the resulting *.ste file in a place where you can find it again.
2. With the site's name still selected in SiteManager, REMOVE the site from DW by clicking the REMOVE button.
3. Now Click on IMPORT and import the *.ste file you just exported.
Is the error still with you now?

I recently changed my apple id to another email address and for some reason it now pulls from a prior apple id?

Unsure how to update apps now that it goes back to an old apple id instead of the new one?

If all you did was update the Apple ID and not create a new one, then go to Settings, Store, sign out of your Apple ID and sign into the new one. The apps should recognize the update. If you created a new Apple ID, then you have a problem. The apps that are on the phone are connected to the old ID and would need that to update. Apple ID accounts cannot be combined.

My modem works just fine, but my airport extreme refuses to connect to the internet. I even reset it more than once, changed the DNS servers and still nothing. Help

Ok so recently we were having problems with our phone. We had to disconnect our modem in order to fix the phone lines and when that happened, our airpot extreme disconnected itself from the internet. No matter what I did i could not get it to connect back. I would power down the modem, I would reset the AE and nothing would happen.
I tried changing the DNS server and nothing happened. I always get the same messages in the airport utility app: No internet connection and no DNS server
Nothing I seem to do works. I do know for a fact though, that the problem is not the modem. I have connected it through ethernet to other devices and the internet has worked just fine.

Since you feel good about having internet access up to your Airport, I would suggest as a next step checking your Airport's status light to see if it is giving any clues as to what may be going on. Below is some info on what the light can indicate
AirPort Express Status light sequences and what they indicate.
No light (Off) - AirPort Express is unplugged
Solid green - AirPort Express is on and working properly.
Flashing amber - AirPort Express is not set up or cannot establish a connection to the network or
