SWFLoader - SWF showing objects outside stage

Hi... I have a SWF that I am loading with SWFLoader. For some
reason, all of the elements that are outside the stage in the SWF
(animated objects) are showing in Flex. How do I only show the SWF
as it is supposed to be seen? I have set height and width on both
the SWF and a container canvas.

You need to create a rectangle that's exactly the same size
as your document / stage, and make it a mask and put all of the
layers in the document underneath it. That should take care of
it.

I made a simple flash jukebox and i want the music buttons to
appear as the mp3 files are loaded.
This is the script i wrote:

but it's not working...when the flash movie starts and when i
run the download simulator all the buttons appear.

already tried that :-( and it still doesn't work...
so i changed the script to:

if(_framesloaded > 8465)
_root.musica2bt._alpha = 100;
} else {
_root.musica2bt._alpha = 0;
but i bounced into another problem, it will only do the test
on the first frame, and i want it to change whenever the frame is
loaded.
Example:
I have a 500frame timeline;
The above code is on the first frame and the referenced frame
is not loaded, but when i enter the 50frame the referenced frame my
already be loaded but the object will still be hidden :-(
how can i resolve this?

Hide objects outside the stage

Hi there!
I have recently downloaded a sample FLA file and I see the stage is FIXED on top-left side of the flash screen and objects outside the stage does not appear on screen (Like a mask, but there is no mask layer).
And when I create a new file the stage appears in middle of the screen and objects outside the stage are not masked.
Would you please help me what should I do in this case?
(I always use a very big White layer in top of all other layers, to cover out of stage, OR use a mask layer)

To simplify my question, each flash scene is indeed divided into 3 sections based on colors (white, light grey, dark grey) as marked below :
(the Zoom is 20% to cover them all).
Section 1. is called Stage (I know)
Section 2. it expands automatically as you move an object outside the stage (image, movieclip etc.) and it works like a mask (I dont know the name of this section)
Section 3. is something like "out of Scene" (I don't know the name of this section as well)
What I want to do is sort of FITTING Section 1 (Stage) to Section 2.
Exactly like the FLA sample file above.
What is that good for?? to help me only see the stuff INSIDE the stage, without any need to make a mask layer or a LARGE white layer above all layers etc.!
Anybody knows what I am talking about and having a clue please?

How to load and show PDF on stage in Flash using AlivePDF or PurePDF external libraries?

I searched a lot on internet but didn't find a proper way to load and open/show PDF on stage in Flash. Following are my understandings about this topic.
I know Flash does not have the built-in functionality to load and show pdf document on stage.
I know you can do this in AIR application using HTMLLoader class but it required adove reader to be installed on your machine.
I have used AlivePDF/PurePDF and I know how to export/generate a PDF File using these libraries but I don't know how to use them to load and show PDF document on stage in Flash. According to my research, I think these libraries can accomplish my task but how, I don't know. That's because I am here for your help.
People suggest to first convert pdf into an image or swf file and then import it into Flash but I don't want this solution because my clients will be importing/uplading PDF file into my software.
Some people suggest to "Convert PDF renderer code written in C/C++ using Alchemy to flash library" and then use that library to my project. I don't have any idea how to do this. If anyone can help me to achieve required functionality this way, please guide me.

Just to throw in a $0.02, I looked at those libraries myself quite a while ago and all they had the ability to do was give you information and assets from the PDF. At that point you literally had to read each page in the PDF (whatever the library could extract), use the information it extracted (position, type size, images, etc) and create a layout engine that could "reconstruct" the page piece by piece.
I hope it's better these days but that's what I took from those libraries quite a while ago and it may still be true. That would explain "Convert PDF renderer code written in c/c++ using Alchemy to flash library". Someone may already have written a quality layout engine. Otherwise there was no "load pdf, run this ShowPDF() function to add to display list" functionality at all.

Group a word in a text block with an object outside the text block?

As I work at a publishing house, I mostly work with long texts. Often, objects that mark something in the text, for example to mark that this word is in the dictionary. But as soon as I format the text and the word moves up or down, the dictionary marking has to be moved manually. This is often a source of error.
What if you could lock an object to a certain word in textblock, and as the word moves, the object follows within the structured assigned. To link an object to follow a word. Like grouping to objects, but grouping a certain word in a text block and an object outside the textblock.

You need to place the object after or before the word, depending, and change the an X Relative to: Anchor Marker
You can see when you go to View Text Threads and have the anchored objected selected it shows you where the anchor is linked to. In this case it's linked to where it's anchored, instead of the page edge, or frame edge etc.

Why does my exported swf show more content than actually on frame?

Why does my exported .swf show more content than actually on frame?
My problem is relatively simple, though, I had some trouble finding a solution to it:
When I play my exported animation using flash player in Google Chrome, if the window is bigger than the resolution flash document/frame, it shows content not meant to show up on the frame -- like parts of a huge background that aren't supposed to show up yet.
In other words, how do I constraint the .swf to the white background/document resolution?

Anyone? I'd appreciate it if someone replied soon -- I am done with my project once this issue is resolved, and I am excited to publish it.

Not showing objects in left pane when expanding the nodes (V 1.5.1)

When expanding DB objects nodes (tables, procedures, packages etc), not showing objects in node.
Can anyone know why it is so and what has to be done?

If they're other users' objects, use the Other Users node.All are owned by me (not speaking about other's objects).
Do give OS/JDK/DB versions when you post, and mind v3.0 is production.OS Windows Xp

Agent detail report shows calls outside the time range

Hi all,
I have an UCCX 7.0 SR5 call center. My problem is that the agent detail report is showing calls outside the defined time range on the historical reporting client.
Those calls start slightly after the end time difined in the HR client.
Is there any explanation for this behaviour?

I think that might be expected. In the Agent Detail Report the call start time is the time the call rang at the agent's extension and not necessarily the actual time the call started. So the report will show the call was really received within the time range but it rang the agent slightly after that time.

CDG-03516:references an object outside of the workarea

i've exported some App System by RON after that delete all applications systems and migrate the repository again (6 to 6i) then i deleted the application previously backed and restore the import and now i am trying to geneate my form modules. When I try to generate a module in the Design Editor I get the following message: 'CDG-03516 ERROR: Module : This module contains or references an object outside of the current workarea'. The firts time i included the external objects (System folder/Oracle forms-language) and i try to generate again i got the same message, i tried to include external references again, when i choose this I get a message saying 'There are no external references for this Workarea'. i lost some relationship when i did the export/import process? what is the way to make a backup by application system and assurance the integrity of that?

Hi Alex,
It sounds like you have a problem with the access rights defined for your users and perhaps some information lost
in the migration.
The Design Editor treats everything in the context of a
workarea, so if a user does not have access to an object
in a workarea then the action fails with this error.
Secondly, have you read the 6i Migration Guide here on
OTN (see our Documentation page, under 6i Release 4.6)?
There may be some useful information in there regarding
the possible loss of information or related issues.

Camera not showing up on stage

Hello. Its been a while since I've used my AE CS3. I took up a project recently and needed a virtual camera. I set the solid layer to 3D and added a new camera layer, default to 35mm. My camera isn't showing up on stage. I can use the orbit tool, and manually input zoom and position to move it around, but it would really help if I could move it manually to get a better idea of its motion. I'm thinking maybe there's a shortcut that hides the camera from stage view I might have hit and saved by accident last time I used it. Thanks.

my mean is that SQL Developer don't show object tables that are defined in user_object_tables or dba_object_tables
in Tables tree (while other tools such as PL/SQL Developer do it)

The application module is the main point of contact for the ViewObject and EntityObject classes. It handles things like the connection pooling and other coordination aspects.
You need to go through the app module to access the ViewObject class methods.

JRA not showing Object Statistics

I am having trouble getting JRA to show 'Object Statistics' as well as the 'Heap
Overview'. I see the note about requiring parallel gc, but the displays are empty.
Any ideas what might be happening?
I use these options to start the app:
-Xms256m -Xmx768m -Xmanagement -Xgc:parallel
and jrockit version:
java version "1.4.1_05"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.1_05)
