Switch off the automatic update of profit centers on the Balance Sheet acco
Dear all,
In CO I am using only CCA and PCA. But I don't want to have the profit center updated on the balance sheet items.
For example I have it activated for all the automatical BS postings from MM
I need it only for the PL accounts.
How can I switch off the automatic updates of profit centers on the Balance Sheet Account?
Is it enough to deactivate the PCA on the Controlling Area?

Is it recommendale to deactivate the automatic update of search plugins for a faster start of FF?
I read that one can deactivate the automatic update for search engines in the settings because there are very seldom such updates (e.g. lastly in early 2010 for Google). This would provide a faster start of FF.
I don't want to have overaged search plugins that might cause trouble, so my question is: Is it recommendable to do this?

My iPhone (iPhone 5S) getting green display after one second going to switch off then automatically ON during FaceTime call. My OS version now 7.0.4. I think recent update actually to fix the above issue but still continues.
Similar issue Andrew. After installing 8.0, the IOS deleted 225 songs from one of my playlists, and I'm still "recalling" songs that are no longer in my Music Library. Fortunately, although the playlist of 235 had only 6 songs left on it ( on my Mac), the Playlist was not erased from my I -Phone. I was able to recreate the Playlist on my Mac, using the intact playlist on my phone. When I synched however, I was back to square one. I went to the Apple store, and I had to reset the phone . We also downloaded IOS 8.02. They saved my playlist in the Cloud, deleted it from my Mac, then synched it. Lo and behold, the playlist I recreated on my Mac, synched to my I Phone. After the reset, I had like 11GB of free space. (Its been 5 days since the "reset" and the number of GBs fluctuates from day to day !!)
When I got home from the Apple store I spent after hours reinstalling all the apps, synchng the phone to the Bluetooth in my car ( you know the rest of the saga) , I purchased a song from I Tunes. I "drag and dropped" it into a Playlist, and synched. Didn't work. Song shows in "Recently Added", but the drag and drop feature doesn't work. Bottom line, I'm not willing to "reset" my phone every time I add a song ! I've tried any number of fixes posted to this support community, but none have worked for me.
Furthermore, it took me 3 hours to get the phone re-synched to the Bluetooth system in my car. However every time I connect to "Bluetooth Audio", the system needs to "find" and "reconnect to" my phone. If you ( or anyone else ) finds something that might work for both the music synch and /or the Bluetooth, I'd appreciate your input.

Because of low battery my iphone 5 got switched off and than its not starting by pressing the power button or by keeping it on charge. While charging a white screen comes for 2 second and goes away. This process continues till the phone is on charge. Please suggest how can I start my phone.

I would be concerned too if my iPhone was not powering on. I found an article with steps you can take when you encounter an issue like this. I recommend following the steps below:
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.

I have an original Apple ID from my personal iPhone and iPad. I bought a MacBook Pro for business and the Apple Store clerk told me to use the old Apple ID to make setup faster and that I could change to a new one later. So... I did all that and changed the Apple ID everywhere I can find a place to do so. And everything seems okay, except the Automatic Updates download tool defaults back to my original Apple ID. Yes, absolutely, you can still use the old ID to update, etc., but I understood the OP to want to simply discard the old one and use only the new one. Maybe I misunderstood...
And, actually just now re-reading the first post, it could be that the ID had only been associated with the iDevices, so if he established a new ID and associated that with the new MBP, I frankly have no idea if he can still use the old ID on that machine (based on him saying that the old ID is greyed out) - have not come up with this type of situation before. -

Windows has a software updater built into Windows and when you install the Boot Camp drivers then it will install an Apple software updater also. I believe Windows is set to automatically download and install your updates as does the Apple software Updater. They both will update the individual files it needs to periodically.
"Microsoft updates" and "Windows updates" are basically the same thing in Windows. Are you talking about the "Windows support software" when downloading from Boot Camp Assistant? Apple installs a software updater for it's Boot Camp drivers in Windows 7 so you can do it manually or automatically.
The "Hot Fix" your referring to is only for certain motherboards built from other Windows only computer manufacturers and does NOT pertain to any Apple computers.

I'm running Windows 7 and iTunes (and the other Apple programs) wouldn't automatically update. Went through all the options and finally had to delete all Apple files and re-download iTunes. Worked fine, until the next update. Is there a glitch in the system? Does someone know of some proprietory block (I think it is related to Quicktime)? Also, once I re-downloaded everything, cleaned everything up, and deleted duplicate files, I closed down my computer. When I re-started it, iTunes was "brand new" -- all of my music, organization, tagging, etc. was gone and had to start over. Idea?
Ok, so after like 4 days of going through all these different issues, I figured out that several programs weren't downloading, and it was an issue with my wireless connectivity messing up the digital signatures, so if you plug in your comp to the modem and delete your temp files, it should start to work!

I went into certmgr.msc and I don't see India's NIC certificates listed as untrusted.

afaik these updates are just coming in over Windows update. Your KB2677070 might be superseeded ba another update, or included in a rollup you installed.

Why is the automatic updater greyed out?
Not only is the automatic updater in IPhoto greyed out, I can also not manually download and install the update. I am asked to download from the app store which does not recognise that IPhoto is installed and asks me to pay for a new copy.... any ideas why????
Where did you purchase the version of iPhoto you have? Have you looked in teh App store under purchases?

When i add text to PDFs and work on the file for awhile, my red added text starts to turn into red X's with a box around them. I have OCRs turned off, i have the latest update, and i have registered the product. What is happening to my text while i'm working on these files? On top of this, my red arrows get moved around also.
