Sycning iPad to iTunes account

My iPad is about a month old. I purchased it while visiting my dughter in JAX. I was able to load content from my account on her computer. I flew home to the base in Germany this week and tried to sync my iPad last night to my home computer and account. It errased my movies even though I have them on this computer and it would not sync... I tried rebooting my computer, turning the iPad off and restarting it. I tried different cords thinking i might have a bad one and I tried different USB ports the two on the front of my computer and one on the back. I have reset my iPad to factory settings twice. I was somewhat able to load the applications.... there were a few I did not select to load that loaded also my problem is that it will not sync and load any movies, photos or TV shows. I recieved several different error messages. the first one was "internal device error occured. on another attempt the error message was "-48" On yet another attempt the message was "there is not enough free space to hold all items in itunes library (87.81GB required 53.21 GB available) I am not trying to load my entire library. My iPad is a 64 GB version and I just want to load a few movies and some photos for a trip to Italy later this month... any suggestions on why I am getting this messages? I really would like to sync it to my account andyes I did authorize my computer for the account,.

Sync'ing on a different computer caused data to be lost. Your goal is to get files on the new computer to the ipad.
A few things to try, in order:
1) Deselect in itunes all music, photos, books, movies, videos, etc. Then try a fresh sync with minimal stuff.
2) If above failed, Press and Hold the Home and Wake Sleep buttons until the Apple Logo appears. Try to resync.
3) If that doesn't work, try a reset. To reset go to Settings, General, Reset, Reset. Then try the minimal sync.
4) If that doesn't work, try a total reset. To reset go to Settings, General, Reset, Erase All Content and Settings. _Warning: This will delete all data on the ipad._
Until such time as you can get an error free sync with minimal data, don't try large sync. If this works, add each category of data a few at a time. Note: Video and movies consume the most space, if it's a space issue.
If none of this works, if there is an Apple near you, call and make an appointment.

You select the exact content that you want to sync to each device. You can use one iTunes account with 6 iPads. You just have to set your sync preferences the way that you want them to be set for each device.
Using apps as the example....
Sync with iTunes.
Connect the iPad to the PC and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Apps Tab on the right.
Click on all of the apps that you want to sync.
Click on the Sync Apps Heading.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
You do the same thing in every tab in iTunes. Select the content that you want to sync to that particular iPad and iTunes will remember the configuration the next time that you sync.

You can only buy from the UK iTunes Store, and per the Terms of Use for the UK Store, you agree not to attempt to use it from outside of the UK. Apple may take technological steps to prevent such use, though I've never seen any reliable indication that they do so.

How do i set up a used iPad with iTunes account

Hi, my friend has recently bought a second hand iPad and has been having problems using it with her iTunes account. She has the latest version installed on her laptop but when the iPad is connected, a window opens to say it cannot be used because it requires iTunes 10.1 or later.
Is it possible to use a second hand device with an existing iTunes account and how do you get the latest version of iTunes on the iPad?
Any help would be appreciated.

Has she access to another computer with iTunes. If so, attach it to that briefly to see if she gets the same message. If she does not then the problem is iTunes on her own laptop. This can be resolved in two ways. If the iTunes update was recent then do a system restore on the laptop and then update iTunes again. (Be careful that such a restore has not ramifications as regards to new programmes installed in the interim.) Now try connecting again. Ideally, you would simply restore a backup of your old (broken) computer to your new computer, and pick right up where you left off before your computer broke.

Setting up iPad without iTunes account

I want to buy an ipad2 for my father who's lives outside the US. I would like to set up his email accounts and anything else I can do myself for hip before I ship it over.
Questions:
I have an ITunes account but he does not. I believe I need to connect to iTunes to setup the iPad however I'm concerned that his iPad will be connected to my iTunes account. I intend to get him some help in setting up his own iTunes account later (when he receives this) so he can sync etc on his own. Is there any way for me to set up the machine for him here and then let him run with it going forward?

I think you can make him an iTunes account on your computer, use it to set up the iPad, then help him get itunes and that account on his own computer so he can sync.
I'm not sure about the paying and credit card part of it. When I se up my itunes account i could use an iTunes gift card and not a credit card. I wonder if you can do the same? Or, if it insists upon a credit card, use yours long enough to set it up, get a $10 iTunes card and take your CC off and put that gift card on in its place. ( I've never had to do that so I'm not quite sure about how it'd work)
The other bug in this, either you make him a new e-mail (like a yahoo or gmail or something) account so he doesn't get e-mails about a gift he doesn't know he's getting, or you spill the beans early. You can always make him a disposable account for the setup and then make changing that info be part of the whole 'in person' set up.

IPad + 2 iTunes accounts

Hello I am looking for some guidance please.
I live in Finland and I have an English iTunes store account on my English credit card, my wife also has an iTunes store account but it is a Finnish account using a Finnish credit card.
Both of these accounts use the same iTunes which is on my iMac.
When I initialize my iPad, which I am having delivered from the US this Thursday, if I intialize it using my English iTunes account will that mean my wife can not buy apps using her Finnish account and use them on the ipad or conversly if we initialize it on the Finnish account will I not be able to use apps on it which I purchase from my UK iTunes account.
Or will all the apps from each of the stores just be on my Itunes on my Imac ready to sync when I plug in my Ipad..
Hope this makes sense as it seems a bit confusing to me...

I have a US account and UK account. I can only access the US account direct from my iPad at the moment until the UK release.
Once the UK store is up and running and I can access direct from my iPad I will probably no longer use my US account although they do have some stuff not available in Uk, in fact I have downloaded iBooks from the US which I am sure I have read will not be available in the UK until later this year.
So to answer your question you use any account to download apps to your Mac and then sync via USB to iPad or to use app store direct from iPad at the moment you will need a US account, which is easy to do and you don't need a US credit card

Technically, yes. You can log out of your current ID and log in with his and them download his past purchases. However you will have to log back into yours when you update your stuff. And when ever you sync it to your computer it will erase his stuff from it.

Since I bought my IPad (a good while ago) I have never been able to use it with the 3G connection (WiFi is fine). Tried many things with my provider (Orange UK) and Apple but none worked. Before I take it back to an Apple Store, I was wondering if the reason might be the following: I have bought it in the UK, am using it in the UK, the SIM number is a UK mobile number BUT I have registered the IPad, synchronised it etc with my french ITunes account. Could it be the reason it's not working?

Are the books and music from Apple?
If yes, connect and select iPad on computer iTunes, right click and choose Transfer Purchases to transfer your purchases to computer iTunes.

AAfter changing Icloud password, my I tunes apps n games account ,will not let me use it. Shows that (in Red) my phone numbers incorrect. It is not. It won't let me enter phone number completely. My Icloud account does show everything's ok,when I look into iCloud's editing section. 60 n not very good with electronics

Where exactly are you looking on your iPad when you see this? Where are you trying to enter your phone number?

IPad corrupted iTunes account

Did the setup synch fine, though it refused to synch all music/podcast/video, just a sampling.
I then played with the iPad and got a few apps on it. Ran the battery down and when I went to look at new stuff on iTunes, I got -50 errors. Hooked the iPad up to synch apps and it tells me it will delete all my apps and data. I did not go through with the synch, just hooked the charger on it.
When I tried to get on iTunes again, I get a message that my computer is now no longer authorized. It will not allow me to reauthorize and gives me -50 errors. Locked out of iTunes and not able to synch the iPad.

You can you re download the same app for free on all supported devices using the same Apple ID > Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
For that app, check the iTunes store for iPhone and iPad iOS compatibility. The app may not be updated to run on the iPad running iOS 8.

If you mean iTunes libraries or computer user accounts, just create one. To make a new iTunes library on Windows, launch iTunes with the Shift key held down and choose Create Library.
