  • Problems syncing iPhone photos

Hi, I recently bought a new iMac (January 2014).  My iPhone 4S was syncing photos with my old iMac fine.  But now with the new iMac, my iPhone photos are unable to sync.  Anyone experienced similar problems?  Any idea on how to resolve?
    Thanks!

Sorry the photos taken from my iPhone are going into iPhoto's, but when I want to upload my albums in iPhoto into my iPhone, it is not working. There's no error message or anything, it just cannot be done.

  • Syncing iPhone photos with Dropbox

    Hello All,
I just switched from 6 years of Android to iPhone this week and am in the process of getting everything just as I like it. Two things i'm strugling with are:
Syncing with Dropbox: I had on my android an app called DropSync which synced all my photos and anything I chose to a specific folder in dropbox and vice-versa. Is there a way or an app that does the same thing where I can sync the albums I made on my iphone with dropbox folders over the cellular network automatically. Please advise.
Syncing Google contacts: Any tips on solid apps to sync my google contact to my phonebook without creating duplicates - or maybe an app that detects duplicates and merges them on my iphone address book.
    Thank you all in advance!

  • Error -50 - Syncing iPhone photos with aperture

    Hi,
    The facts:
    OS - 10.7 Lion
    iTunes - 10.4
    iOS - 4.3.5
So when I updated to Lion and iTunes 10.4 my photos from Aperture will no longer sync with my phone.  I get the error (-50), which to my understanding is a time out error.  Now when I sync with iPhoto it works, no error.
Any help with getting my iPhone to sync with Aperture would be appreciated.
    Rob

Found this link that works the first time you sync, but give me the same error the next time I sync.

  • Sync iphone photo rolls to ipad

TRYING TO SYNC my Iphone 5 photos to my Ipad 2

Existing photos in your camera roll are not added to Photo Stream, only new photos you take after turning Photo Stream on are pushed to Photo Stream and your other devices. If these photos are currently in your camera roll, you will need to first import them to your computer, then sync them to your iPad, if you want them on your iPad.

  • Cannot delete synced iPhone photos.

I accidentally added photos from iTunes to my iPhone....now I can't figure out how to delete them.  Can anyone help me?

Open iTunes when your iPhone is plugged in to it.  While the iPhone is selected, choose the "Photos" tab on the top right.  Specify the syncing instructions there that will remove the photos you no longer want on your iPhone.  Press "Apply" in the lower right, and you're done!

  • My iphoto wont sync iphone photos

My iphoto used to automatically open and give me the option to sync photos from my iphone but now not only does it not open automatically, but it doesn't even recognize my phone or give me an option to sync. Please help!

    What version of iPhoto?
    As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?

  • Deleting synced iPhone photos?

I have a couple of photo albums on my iphone that got there through syncing
I want to delete them but I can't seem to figure out how?
The photo sync is unchecked and as a matter of fact the folders that were synced to the phone no longer exist on the computer
Am I doing it wrong or something?

To delete photos from your device
In iTunes, select the device icon in the Devices list on the left. Click the Photos tab in the resulting window.
    Choose "Sync photos from."
On a Mac, choose iPhoto or Aperture from the pop-up menu.
On a Windows PC, choose Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements from the pop-up menu.
Choose "Selected albums" and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
    Click Apply.

  • How to sync iPhone photos with iPad and Mac without duplicates and deleted photos?

I have a MacBook Pro (OS X 10.8.5, iPhoto 9.4.3), an iPad2 (ios 6.1.3) and iPhone (ios 7.0.4).  I take my pictures on the iPhone and use the iPad for viewing.  I use the MBP for storage and backup.  ios 7 seems to organize the photos nicely, so I no longer need iPhoto for organizing.
What is the best, easiest and most efficient way to share, save and backup photos (iCloud prefered versus plugging devices into the MBP) between the 3 devices without duplicates and deleted photos?  With Photo Streaming turned on, I get duplicates and it retains photos that I have deleted.
On all three devices, I turned on Photos & Camera > My Photo Stream and Shared Photo Streams and iCloud > Photo Stream.
On the MBP, I have everything under Photo Stream EXCEPT Automatic Import (I took off recently hoping to eliminate duplicates).
If someone else already asked this question, I apologize.  This is very confusing.

While waiting for a reply, you can read the documentation that was in the box your iPad came in.  It's a book about a Spanish guy called Manual.
The answer is iTunes.  Download it.  Install it.  Read the instructions.  Use it.

  • Problem syncing iPhone photos

I took some pictures with my iPhone and moved them to my pc. When I try ti sync them using iTunes some of them will not sync because "they cannot be display on my iPhone".  I emailed them back to my iPhone and they display just fine. Same thing with my iPad. Why is that?

Figured it out.  Somehow the extension changed from JPEG to JPG.  Changing it back sloved the problem.

  • How do you sync iPhone photos to your computer?

i don't see any menus on iTunes for transferring pictures.

For photos captured by your iPhone which are stored in your iPhone's camera roll, importing photos from your iPhone's camera roll is not handled by iTunes. When there are photos in your iPhone's camera roll, your iPhone is also detected as a digital camera when connected to your computer, and you import these photos as is done with any other digital camera.
Since you have a Mac, you can use iPhoto for the import if you use iPhoto for importing photos from another digital camera and for photo storage on your Mac. If not, you can use the Image Capture application located in your Applications folder.

  • Can not sync all photos in Aperture into Iphone 5

I can not sync all photos in Aperture into Iphone 5. It always can sync some photos into 5. Then finish and prompts: "itunes can not synchronize (other)thousands of projects, and see more information in itunes".  That means most of my photos can not seen on Iphone 5, it seems just can't import to 5. Is that the problem of Iphone or the pictures in Aperture, or even just because lack of sufficient space?

Replying to my own post - heh. I downloaded iExplorer (http://www.macroplant.com/iexplorer/) which allowed me access to the files on the phone and there was the phantom movie in the DCIM folder. Deleted it, and all is well - although I still have 0.65gb of Other in iTunes.....

  • I have the iPhone 4, and yesterday I synced my photos onto iTunes, but now I have albums on my phone that cannot be deleted, and there is not an option to delete the items in the albums individually... How do I get rid of these unwanted albums? Windows 7

I have the iPhone 4, and yesterday I synced my photos onto iTunes, but now I have albums on my phone that cannot be deleted, and there is not an option to delete the items in the albums individually... How do I get rid of these unwanted albums? Using Windows 7.

If you used iTunes to get the photos on the phone, then use the same iTunes and uncheck the music you don't want and do another sync.
