SYNC no longer works with 10.6.1 - Assistance Please!
My Curve has been working great with PocketMac Sync for the last year. A couple days ago I updated my MAC to 10.6.1 and now it no longer shows my Blackberry on the desktop when I plug it into the USB cable. When I open PocketSync it says "Avaliable" under the Blackberry option, and if I try and run a SYNC it fails. It no longer shows the PIN of my phone ( as if it is not connectged at all)
Basically it does not think I have a phone attached. I need to get my new contacts added to my phone, and I don'd find any solutions out there so far. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Since you are under snow and you don't want to go back I suppose...
Download the leaked beta version of Blackberry Desktop Manager for Mac (see crackberry.com).
Just test the connection (do nothing else).
If the connection works (your pin is retrieved by the soft) you have a question on your desk : going back to Leopard or waiting for a maybe upgrade of the DM that today sync only with iCal and not with Entourage.

Sync no longer works with new AppleTV update
Since upgrading to the latest AppleTV software, I can no longer sync to my AppleTV (1st gen). I can now only stream content to the AppleTV. There is still content on the AppleTV, but I can no longer manage that content.

Existing Active Sync certificates no longer work with iOs 4.3. Can I fix this?
My results differ from yours.
With iOS 4.0x, 4.1 and 4.2x my smart playlists with live updating were broken. It would start with track 1 of 5, then 2 of 4, then 3 of 3, 4 of 2, then would generally crash the iPod app. If I left the playlist and re-entered it would have removed the entries already played, but I would find that some of the entries that should have played had actually been skipped in m playlist.
With iOS 4.3, my playlists are properly working for me again. Now they play 1 of 5, 2 of 5, 3 of 5, ... If I return to the playlist while it is playing, I see that the entries that have already played are removed, and if I leave the playlist to return later, it starts over a 1 of 2, 2 of 2...
I have posted another thread of how I have my playlists defined, so perhaps that would help you. I do recall that there were some conditions that used to cause problems if used in a smart playlist. -
Hello, I've updated the iPhone I have got I have a problem I hope you respond to some of the applications no longer work, such as the safari and skype and many applications are no longer working with the ios7.0.4
Standard troubleshooting...
1. Try a Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the slider. Slide to power off. Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the Apple logo.
2. Try a Reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
3. Remove apps from Recently Used (multi-tasking) list...
- From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
- Swipe up on the app preview card to remove it from the list
- Press the home button when done.
4. If still a problem restore with your backup.
5. If still a problem restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.
6. If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue. -
After updating my iphone 5 to ios 6.1, it no longer works with my Ford Sync in my car. The phone does not play audio anymore while connected via USB. Audio doesnt play from any apps nor from the ipod through the car stereo. Same if I connect it via the bluetooth audio stream option. The only thing that still works is calling using the phone and that streams through the speakers fine. The software on my car is fully updated also.
I forgot to add in that I already did that. I re-paired both profiles (usb and BT) to no avail. After doing that I also reset the Sync system and deleted all the data. This also did not work. It just says connecting now and doesnt go away.
I also tried the "sync my itunes" app from syncmyride.com. That also did not work -
Why does my ipod no longer work with my alpine car stereo
my ipod connects directly to my alpine car stereo and up til now it has worked great. i recently synced my ipod to my computer and i think it updated the software on my ipod and now my ipod no longer works with my alpine stereo. what is up? did apple change something that would make my ipod no longer compatible with my car stereo? if so, what do i do? i have about $1000 invested in my car stereo and ipod specifically for car use. this is a serious issue for me! i just want my ipod to work like it did…
i just connected my friends ipod and it works fine. he has version 1.1.1 software on his. i have version 2.3 on mine. since my ipod works fine by itself i’m assuming that the incompatibility between my ipod and my alpine is due to the software update.
here again, what do i do? how can i get an older version of software back on to my ipod?

ISync no longer works with MacBook
I imported all data from my old Powerbook G4 into my new Intel MacBook 2.16 bu iSync no longer works with my phones. It starts the process then stops abut halfway through with an error message. I have tried all the solutions proposed in the discussion but the problem remains the same.
Fortunately Sony Ericsson phones are my particular area of expertise!
This is more than likely caused by some corruption in either one of your Contacts or one of your Calendars.

All of a sudden, my iPod Touch (4th gen, IOS 6.1.6) no longer works with Airplay on my Apple TV. It was working and still works as a 'remote' but not with Airplay which seems to indicate I've been abandoned by the message that pops up on the screen saying in essence "too bad you don't have IOS 7.1".

However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- Then do the other actions of:

- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

Hi, my My Logitech rechargeable speaker S315i no longer works with my iphone 5. It won't charge or play music. When I switched to iPhone 5 I had to buy an adapter - but it still worked perfectly...now it just stopped working??? It still works with my original iPhone (first model!!)
This must have to do with the iPhone upgrade....has anyone had this problem?

Un-sync all your music to remove it from the device, then restart (hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go). Now re-sync your music. -
Function keys no longer working with a new keyboard...
I got a new keyboard and my function keys no longer work with it. I am used to have them used in the standard format, i.e. F10-F12 control the voume, etc. I have the "Use all f1,f2, etc." button clicked. I have also tried restarting my computer. Any thoughts?
Try doing a SMC reset and PRAM reset.
SMC RESET
Shut down the computer.
Unplug the computer's power cord and all peripherals.
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
Release the power button.
Attach the computers power cable.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
PRAM RESET
Shut down the computer.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys. -
Bluetooth No Longer Working With Headset
I have a Motorola bluetooth headset that I've used with my ibook before without a hitch, but when I screwed up OS X and reinstalled it (note: reinstalled the operating system, but didn't format) it no longer works with the headset. I can connect to it just fine, but if I try to use it for anything such as switch my audio output to the headset, the program will freeze - same applies to using the headset for input. The headset isn't broken as it works fine with my phone, but my ibook won't cooperate and they are paired correctly. Is their someway to reinstall the bluetooth drivers or something to that extent? Thanks

Firefox no longer working with Mac OSX 10.4.11
i'm using Mac OSX 10.4.11 and Firefox 3.6.12. As i understand it any of ur upgrades no longer work with this computer system. ( I tried to upgrade last week and ur site said upgrades no available gfor my platform version. Last week every time i conducted a search (default Google) i was redirected to http://search.creativecommons.org/?q=crossword+puzzles&sourceid=Mozilla-search.what gives? Have I been hijacked? also sites that I use daily are clipped and entire pages are smaller than usual . see www.shockwave.com
If u are no longer supporting Mac users, please let us know in advance or at least post it on ur site. Can no longer use Firefox...When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Cmd+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
(You also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
Firefox > Preferences > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now")
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site:
Tools > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?
If you open about:crashes, you should get links to online crash reports. You could post some of the crash IDs for review by volunteers here.
Given the timing, another issue might be some ads or media in the page. There are some add-ons to block such things... -
My Safari is no longer working with many sites. However Chrome and Firefox work fine. I would like to re-install Safari in an effort to clear up the problem I can not resolve.
1. From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.
2. Select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data...
and confirm. Test.
3. If the above steps don't resolve the problem, please describe it in more detail. -
I am for about one week not able to input information on Facebook. Also the Facebook page appears in a huge font. Regarding Slacker I do not see any available online radio stations. Until about a week ago everything worked fine. At present I can work with Internet Explorer, but at present can no longer work with Firefox.
