Synchronization of calendar is not possible without wifi

Hi!
I just updated my MacBook Pro to Mountain Lion and I can now sync my Mac and iPhone via iCloud and it works fine at home.
My iPhone is also my work phone and at work I have a PC, where I also have installed iCloud.
The problem is that we do not have WiFi at work, so I have to use the cable if I want to update my calendar on the phone.
When the phone is set up for iCloud, I can not manually control when I connect via iTunes, if I want to update the calendar, since it is "programmed" to be updated automatically via iCloud.
Can I turn off this or iCloud on the phone so I can sync via cable or am I forced to "uninstall" iCold on the phone at work and reinstall when I get home?
PS: iPhons is not a "safety approved" phone in our company, so I'm not allowed to connect directly via the company server.

Okay time for an up-date.
I found the solution myself. In you go into setting and into icloud settings, you can turn off automatic sync.
This allows me to sync via cabel at work and at the same time, allows me to sync. photos, sms chat ect. via iCloud at home.

Puerto Rico is considered local. You can use your phone there just like at home.

It happens when you download from two or more different Apple IDs often. It says you must waut 90 days before you can play it without wifi. So in 90 days, try to download again.

Well, actually you bought a used, second hand device which was very likely broken by the previous user.
This user needs to first confirm what I've already asked.
And yea, check the sim card holder, who knows.

Deleting external calendars is not possible

it's not possible to delete external calendars; they only dissapear shortly after pushing the delete-button. Then they appear and the never ending sync process goes on.
CPU-fan ist blowing and my macbook becomes hot :-(((((

If you are trying to disable the guest account, you must "unlock the padlock" towards the bottom left of the page where you manage your accounts. Then, you can hit the - sign after you type in your password

if your youtube was already running then I would exit out of the application completely by double clicking your home button and then search for your youtube app on the row that will show below and then press and hold down the youtube icon and then click the "X" to exit out of it. Afterwards try to reopen youtube and play a video to see if it works

UD should not possible without QE51N

Hi ALL,
Normally after the process order confirmation UD is done directly from QA11...where it displays the message " Do you want to force inspection completion "...then by selecting "Yes" ...UD can be done....I want a scenario in which this wont be possible without QE51N...
Can anyone please throw light on this...?

Firefox will not work without WiFi on Metropcs 4g lte network

I can use Firefox on WiFi but if I am using the 4G network I just get a message that I must sign up for the MetroPCS Hotspot plan. That makes no sense. I'm not trying to tether with my phone. I can use the built in browser and Chrome but, Firefox is a complete fail without staying on WiFi at all times.

This likely depends on Firefox's user agent.
If you have installed the desktop by default extension you should uninstall that, https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/android/addon/desktop-by-default/
If you don't have that extension install then would you install the Phony extension and try the various user agents listed? We suspect that MetroPCS is lumping Firefox for Android with desktop Firefox. Setting the user agent to one of the Chrome values or iOS values should allow Firefox to use the MetroPCS network. Please let us know if that works around the issue.

Unfortunately if MetroPCS is blocking all Firefox user agents this is something that MetroPCS will need to fix. We can try to contact them but feedback from their customers can be more effective.

Working with canon 6d CR2 files not possible without converting to DNG?

I have a brand-new down on 60 camera which generates CO2 files. Unfortunately I have not been able to edit any of my photos using Adobe camera raw or bridge or Photoshop without converting to DND files. Do you and you files are larger than the CR to file sizes and therefore I don't like them. Is there anyway for me to work directly on my Cr2 files like I did on my NEF files when I had the nikon? Yes my Photoshop is up-to-date.

What version of Photoshop are you using, and what version of Camera Raw plug-in (ACR) are you using?
If your camera is a 6D then you need Photoshop CS6 and ACR 7.3 or newer to open the CR2 files.
If your camera is a 60D then you need Photoshop CS5 and ACR 6.2 or newer to open the CR2 files.

When I login using slim as user, everything is fine.
Automatic login without slim changes the rights of my user.
When dbus is active as a daemon in rc.conf, wicd works fine (without dbus wicd would not work), but only xfce4 log-out is avaiblable. Xfce4-Shutdown and -restart is inactive.

I have tried different commands in my ~.xinitrc, but no change of behaviour
1. exec ck-launch-session dbus-launch startxfce4 (I read somewhere that ck must be started before dbus-launch)

When dbus is inactive in the rc.conf daemon's session, wicd does not work, but I can shut down the computer.

For Archlinux the group powerdev has to be replaced by power and users by storage

Lync Mobile App not working without WIFI

HI,
we have Lync 2013 deployed and everything works fine. We can do Voice Calls, Video Calls etc.
But when we switch off the WIFI and only 3G or 4G is enabled, we can call persons, but after we accept the call, it gets terminated and we can't hear each other.
any idea?
EDIT: We get the error "Could not establish a connection"

Control on GR, GR not possible without acknowledgement number in PO

While making goods receipts we want to have control wherein unless acknowledgement number is maintained in Purchase order against respective item, user should not be able to make goods receipt.
Can anyone pls explain if this control can be done through any configuration setting or is there any userexit available.

Newsstand Won't Display Subscriptions without Wifi on iPad Mini?

I have a 16GB iPad mini with wifi and I have two subscriptions on Newsstand. I've already downloaded the latest issues when I was connected to my wifi at home. I had hoped to be able to view my subscriptions while commuting to work, but every time I try to open a magazine, it tries to open and then just shuts down. I don't seem to have this problem when I am at home or work and connected to wifi. So I guess my question is, do I have to be connected to a wifi signal in order to read magazines that I've already downloaded? This has never been the case with my 3rd generation iPad, so I find it hard to believe that this would change with the mini. I'm almost certain that I was able to do this up until this week when I updated to iOS 6.1.
Does anyone have any insight into this?

I have Windows OS and iTunes for PC, but the problem is not in my PC, but in synchronization. Your synchronization take minute or two, you have thunderbolt lightning cable??? If is it by you really so quick than ok but by me is it with sync really slow and I have still powerhouse notebook.
I dont know how is it possible that your sync is so quick, but my iPhone starts transfering purchased aplications and all content to the PC, instead of downloading it PC itself without iPhone from iStore. So there is what happend when I am conecting my iPhone.
When it find my iPhone on the first try, it starts makeing backup, than transfering photos, aplication, some info from Safari and to the end also the MUSIC...this should be improved by Apple and it should be able to sync just MUSIC section and not whole system, when I changed just something in MUSIC section(like adding new CD..)
So it does on PC whole resync Maybe is it somewhere in options, but where? I really want sync sometimes just MUSIC or just Apps and nothing else(like Photos, Bookmarks...)
