Syncing iTunes with iPad2?

I updated ipad with Icloud, lost my passcode and had re-set ipad to factory setting. Now I can't sny ipad2 with iTunes. I can see my content on the PC but they are not syncing to ipad nothing happens

Sorry for my ignorance but i'm trying to do things right from the beginning as ive had a few problems in the past.
I had my iphone synced on a previous laptop(windows) and i purchased the original ipad and when i connected the ipad it asked if i wanted to use a back up of the iphone or install ipad as new and i chose the back up of the iphone option.But now i am installing everything new on my macbook do i install both as new.

Whenever I sync my iPad2 with iTunes, it downloads every app I have ever downloaded. I just want to get the new apps, not all of them. What can I do?

Change the sync preferences for apps in iTunes.
Connect the iPad to the computer and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Apps Tab on the right.
Click on all of the apps that you want to sync. Uncheck the apps that you don't want to sync.
Click on the Sync Apps Heading.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
You may also want to uncheck - Sync new apps automatically - under the list of apps.

Syncing itunes with ipad2 & iphone

hi i have recently purchased a new macbook pro and also an ipad2,i also own an iphone4
my question is how to sync both ipad & iphone.At this current time the only apps on the ipad are for ipad only and there are no apps on the iphone apart from the ones which came with it as i have reset the iphone.
what i am trying to achieve is ipad only apps and iphone only apps on each device.
Any advice will be gratefully recieved.

iOS7.0.2 & Itunes 11.1.0.126 sync problems with iPad2 - Does step 1 & 2 of sync. Then this message> The iPad "my ipad name" could not be synced because this computer is no longer authorised for purchased items that are on this iPad. To authorise this computer for items from the iTunes Store choose Store> Authorise This Computer.
Tried all that many times. Also went into my account and de-athorised all computers and re-authorised this one. No joy. What next. Fedup that things are going wrong with apple. We buy apple because it works I always say. Yeah right.

Thank you for providing the details of the issue you are experiencing when trying to sync your music to your iPhone.
I recommend trying to resync. You can resync content to the iPhone by unchecking "Sync Music" and then clicking "Apply" and then checking "Sync Music" and then clicking "Apply" again:

Some files in "DOCUMENTS" icon in dock won't open. Get msg saying You need a newer version of Pages to open this document." Have Pages 4.1 installed. Same files will open ok from Finder, Pages App. Recently sync'd with ipad2 (Pages) after iOS5 installed.

You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5.2 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.2 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Older versions of Pages 5 can not open files from later versions of Pages 5.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud and opened in a newer version of Pages is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has removed almost 100 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

HT1692 Have recently installed itunes and outlook on a new computer. Have multiple email accounts set up in Outlook tho only use contacts and calendar in relation to one of these. Cannot sync itunes with the correct contacts and calendars, Help!

My phone is a 4S runing iOS 6.1.3
Very frustrated now that I have recently installed itunes and outlook on this new computer. Everything worked perfectly ok on my laptop which was also 64-bit Windows 7 and running 32-bit Microsoft Office 2010 Pro. I had my home computer set up to sync to work's Exchange server. It worked well, but I didn't like seeing work email messages and other programs trying to sync with my default Outlook folder, which was then the Exchange (& work related) .ost file. I know there are various ways to manage those problems using filters, view, subfolders, etc., but it was a hassle for me. I think it could work well for many other folks.
For now, I have published my work calendar and subscribed to that calendar on my home computer. So I have view only access to my calendar on my home computer (and I can add/edit calendar items on my iPad (or Outlook Web Access) when away from work). This is not quite what I wanted, but it may work.
It almost makes me long for the days when I used my Windows Mobile Treo to sync back and forth between exchange at work and outlook at home (but had many sync conflicts as a result).

Was just wondering if its possible to sync ITune with the music folder on my computer as it gets annoying having to add new music manually, especially as Windows media player does this automatically without causing duplicates...

iTunes doesn't do folder monitoring.
One possible workaround is to look at 3rd party solutions such as iTunes Library Updater:

How do I sync my I tunes and cloud? When I sign into I-tunes it get a pop up that tells me my user name and password is correct for I tunes but not for cloud? I have already down loaded cloud but unable to sign into it?

If you don't have a backup of your pc, you will have to use a third party solution to get your music back. Wiki has a [comparison of ipod managers|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparisonof_iPodManagers] here which you can look through to see if any meet your needs. I have used [CopyTrans|http://www.copytrans.net/copytrans.php] successfully but I did purchase it so I don't know what the free version supports.
You can [download purchased Apps for free|http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519] but that won't work for music, movies, etc.

Not directly. What you do is set Outlook to sync to Apple's databases (Address Book, iCal, etc) via Outlook's Tools menu -> Sync Services and then you can sync to an IOS device, which is what I presume you mean.

ICal syncing issues with iPad2

This just started yesterday but I'm getting the following error when trying to sync my iPad2 with my Mac (OS X -10.7.5) via USB and iTunes: "iTunes could not sync calendars to the iPad because the sync server failed to sync the iPad."
Can anyone offer any help?

From what your write, it is a little hard to tell, what exactly your problem is, though you may want to try the following, which helped me at time:
step one:
export all of your calendars one by one, including the one with entries giving you problems
step two:
erase all of your calendars and create a dummy character, check if syncing works with that one.
reimport the previously exported calendars one by one, redoing the syncing routines.
In the instances I had problems, I found that exporting and reimporting a calendar file usually did away with the problem
Also, at least on my machines, turning on the birthday link to address book, created some problems, so you might want to try without that feature too.
If you got everything working on one machine, another strategy can be to reinitiate syncing from that one, i.e. erase and reinstall the syncing process on the others. Just make sure you have an up to date back up of your entries.

I have a digital DJing package and i have all my songs within iTunes playlist, which my dj software reads. I want to take a backup with me wherever i go and i want to know whether there is anyway of syncing itunes songs and playlists as if it were an ipod? I mean 'like an ipod' so i can plug in my hard drive and it will sync automatically.

Not built into iTunes, no. You can set this up with various third-party utilities such as TuneRanger or a backup utility such as Memeo LifeAgent (which can automatically run a backup whenever you connect the backup volume).

Hi there, have just got an iphone 4 and am having trouble syncing it with my itunes account. After plugging it in and clicking SYNC IPOD, it 'prepares to sync' but then says 'waiting for changes to be applied' - i have no idea what that means and what i should do next...can anyone help???!!
