Syntax to export 18 months of data at any given time using variables?

I have written a calculation script for exporting data from an application using DATAEXPORT. I want to get 18 months of data in my exported text files at any point of time. So, I want to specify the range using variables for Period and Year but I am kind of stuck on how should I be writing it in my script.
Please let me know the correct syntax using variables or if you could share some link that would help me know that would be a help.
Can I use @XRANGE Function???

If I follow what Robb suggested then like you mentioned when 3 years will be involved its going to be difficult I guess. Not sure at this point which way would be the best to get this work.
I agree with CL - 18 months rolling forecast can be annoying seriously.
Can one of you please suggest me a permanent and most efficient solution for this out of all the ideas that would not require manual work and can be automated completely?

Only one Airport Express will work at any given time

Hi,
I use one Airport Express to connect to the internet and another to stream iTunes to my Stereo.
I can only get one to work at any given time!
If I use Airport SetUp Assistant to reconfigure the one that isn't working, it starts and the other stops.
I can only ever see the current one in Airport Admin Utility.
Airport SetUp Assistant shows me two.

Query for Old Data that does not match New Data within a given time period

Hello all,
One of the reports I need to create is for all associates who went from one department to another within a given time period. The way I ran this report in Reportsmith (pulling from our old system) was to compare the dept field from the beginning date to the dept field at the end date and it would give me those associate's that had moved. I had to do it this way b/c dept changes can happen using several different types of actions (supv change, promotion, etc.), none of them exclusive to just dept changes. We are now using Oracle HRMS and I need to create this same report with this system using SQL.
Does anyone know how to compare data between two different dates and pull the ones that don't match? Your help will be GREATLY appreciated!

In the sample data you posted, nobody changed departments between May 1 and May 11. In fact, there were no assignments of any kind between January 16 and May 17, so I wouldn't expect any output for that period.
A person (or rather, a duck) did change deptartments on May 20, so if you change the upper limit of the date range to
AND ASG_LAST_UPDATE_DATE < TO_DATE ('05/21/09', 'MM/DD/RR')you should see her.
You've probably noticed that this site likes to compress white-space.
To post formatted text (such as table results or indented code) type these 6 characters:
(small letters only, inside curly brackets) before and after sections of formatted text, to preserve spacing.

Problem while refreshing the data for the second time using excel services in sharepoint 2013...

I have migrated my Sharepoint from 2010 to 2013.I am able to get the data at the first time of refresh when I click on refresh for the second time I am getting the empty the sheet.
below find the flow of refresh
First Refresh
On Click of refresh open the workbook with excel services and return the session id.
Using that session I am invoking RefrehAsync method of excel services
After refresh completed I am setting the calculation of workbook as automatic(to calculate the formulas) using the same session id
After setting the calculation as Automatic I am setting the calculation type as full(recalculate) using the same session id.
Now I am able to see the data
Second Refresh
After clicking on refresh instead of opening the workbook I am using the session id(already opened workbook) and setting the calculation type as manual
I am following the same process from refresh(RefreshAsync) as I have followed in first refresh.
This time my formulas are not getting calculated because of that I am not able to see the data.
Could you please let me know that am I missing anything here?
Is this know issue in Sharepoint2013 excel services as same code is working fine with Sharepoint2010.
If I close the workbook(session id null) and opens(new session id) for all the refreshes it is working and I am able to see the data.

I am able to see the data for the second refresh if I change the data source.If I use the same data source which is used in the first refresh I am not getting the data.Excel services will contact the cubes and calculate the formulas in my workbook.
Could you please let me know what could be the problem at second refresh while contacting the same data source with same session id?

Extract y value from graph at any given time

I have a graph with a pre-plotted curve generated from a standard set of results. I need to extract the y value of the curve at any given point. My y value is pressure and my x value is stroke(hydraulic cylinder movement in mm). So for example at 10mm(x value) I need to extract the pressure(y value). Is there a property node I could use for this? any help would be much appreciated.

instead of reading values from the graph you may use the interpolation functions from the array palette to do interpolation on the plotted values directly...

Is there a way to export the form data directly in mysql or using php

Hi,
I am using Acrobat XI to collect form data and export it as csv/ xml, then I need to import it manually to mysql. Just wondering if there is any way to automate this process so I can just select/ upload the form file and data can be imported to mysql database. I know some php also and tried finding any script but not yet found. So if there is any php script to extract the data from filled form that would also work for me.

Hi SAP Experts,
I want to see the hostname it used the user when the user is executing a transaction at a particular date and month. And current condition Security Audit not active. Can I see this? I can see on tCode ST03N (1 month ago), but I can't see detail the hostname.
Do I need to enable Security Audit (SM19) if I want to track user activity? Is it necessary for security reasons?
Please advice for active strategy schedule Security Audit because if it is activated storage will fill up quickly.

Without enabling the Security Audit, You can't find the required details like hostname/Terminal, User, Tcode/Report... Use SM19 to enable the Audit functionality and check for information in SM20.
Yes, Definitely storage will fill up if you activate this functionality but it will helps you alot.
If you are using Production Server, you must enable for security and audit purpose.
You can activate for Development, Quality and Test purpose systems, if required otherwise no need..

Data rate slows over time: Using Time Capsule (4th) and AirPort Express (1st)

Time Capsule using Airport Express to extend network.
Over 3-4 days my data rate gradually gets slower and slower until I have to reboot both TC and AE.
Fresh reboot gets me 10Mbs or better for a while and then slows over time to 2Mbs or less.
I can cable directly to the ISP modem, taking TC and AE out of the equation, and its smokin fast
No hair left to pull out, so any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

You have your wireless channels on auto.. it is usually better to control it.
You will notice I have different names for 2.4ghz and 5ghz.. then I can force the link to either band.
After you set Radio Channel selection to Manual,, click edit. You can then set the channels.
Lock the channels.. ie you take control and you set what the wireless channels will be.. when you extend wireless this works far better. The auto channel system has to run on the Extender.. but since the main base is fixed on the 2.4ghz so it will be also.. the only channel that can flap around is 5ghz (extender) since that is not under my control. Of course it is up to you to determine which channel works best.. I strongly recommend the upper channels for 2.4ghz and the lower channels for 5ghz.
So.. I have set 5ghz to 48 on the main base.. and the auto channel sets it to 149 in the extender.
One strange thing results from my setup .. (amongst many!!)
You cannot name the wireless for 5ghz in the extender.. so in my case the upstairs wireless extender has both 2.4ghz and 5ghz named TC24ghz.. nought that I can do about it. But it is not a big deal.
You can see the result in the wireless diagnostics. The last wireless I have put in the box.. it is named TC24ghz but is in fact running on 5ghz. That is just how the over automated system of the apple routers work.. If I could I would fix it.. and maybe shall via serial console at a later date.

Controling objects in a loaded swf at any given time

I want to communicate with an object within a loaded swf. I know I can use this event listener and function to do so right when the swf has completed loading:
imageLoader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, loadSections)

            event.target.content.mc.y+=2
But I want to be able to manipulate a given object from the loaded swf at any time not just when the loading is complete. So basically as long as the swf is loaded, is there a way to manipulate objects and call functions within that swf?

I'll just try to add to what Ned already told you.
IF (and only if) I understood what you're trying to do, all you want is press a button to load a new SWF and then click the loaded swf to unload it, right?
If this is what you want, I think you have to understand that a loader IS a displayObject and it CAN be added to the displayList. It took me a lot of time to understand this so maybe this is where you're having trouble to "think" your application (and I guess it is because you're using holder.addChild(imageLoader);, which is not wrong).
Since a loader is a displayObject that can be added to the displayList, you don't really need a another displayObject do hold it, like a holder.
You can simple use addChild(imageLoader);
Doing so, you will have a "loader" on stage working just like anyother displayObject. You can add listeners to it, you can remove it from stage, change its location and all.
So, as Ned said, when you add a loader to the stage, if you want to remove it, go ahead an remove it!
removeChild(imageLoader);
//or, in your case:
holder.removeChild(imageLoader);
The only thing here (as far as my knowledge goes) is that the loaded content still exists EVEN if it doesn't exist on the displayList anymore. That's why you MUST unload it TOO.
imageLoader.unload();
Doing so you'll send the loader content for GarbageCollection and this will be deleted when more memory is needed.
Another best practice I've noticed is that you should avoid from "creating" a loader from withing a function.
Well, just to give you an idea of what you can do:

Getting multiple data readings at one time using LabVIEW (GPIB) with the Fluke Hydra 2620A

I'm taking temperature readings with the 2620A using the NI LabVIEW drivers. Is there anyway to take an array of the data results? (i.e. more than one channel at a time)

This depends upon which VIs you are using. Are you using a driver specifically for the 2620A, the 488.2 VIs, or the VISA VIs? It also depends upon how the instrument returns data. You could use the array VIs in LabVIEW to parse the string and put it into an array, but first we'll need to know how it is sent back. For instance, it is long values separated by commas, etc. Let us know how the string is configured and we'll find a way to do it.

Month end date in RPD

We need to show month end date for a given date in a table.
Say the date is '03-25-2008', then output should give me '03-31-2008'.
I want to create a new derived column like this in rpd.
I believe variables cannot help me here, because we will need to have month end date for each value the date column will hold.
Please let me know how can we achieve this.

Better go for creating view by writing the direct function.
if db is: ORACLE, then LAST_DAY(<date column>) is the function to get the last day of the date column.
but in creating view you also fetch the key column of the particular date column table and the above function too... it's like
select key column, LAST_DAY(<date column>) as LastDate from TableNameA
now you create a physical join between the TableNameA and the view, which maintains 1to1 relation ship.
So that we can use the LastDate column in our BMP layer in particular TableNameA logical table.
I think it works out probably....

No data query runs longer time

I have a table with 50 million records, partitioned based on date.
if i do the query select * from test where trade_date = '01-mar-2010' brings
the records in less than a second. works perfect
but if there is no data for any given date in the table, the query takes more than 1 to 2 minute to completed.
why the query takes that longer to comes back with NO DATA?

note:
i use 11g.

Why to use business rules in biztalk or is there is any alternative to using vocabularies in biztalk?

Business rules framework: Organizations may need to process information differently depending on the data submitted. In the case of BizTalk, information is submitted
via a message, and data within that message may require special processing once it has been received by an orchestration. The orchestration must be able to determine what that data is and how to process it. Additionally, rules around how that data is interpreted
may change at any given time, even after the solution is in production. For example, a rule may be required that allows processing messages as long as a specific field has a value less than 10, but must stop processing and notify an administrator when this
value is equal to or exceeds 10. The ability to store and access such a rule and to make it available for customization through a user-friendly interface is provided by the BizTalk business rules framework.
Vocabularies: They are specific to
business rules framework. These consist of all defined values that you can use when creating
a rule, including constants, predicates, XML nodes, and so on.
The terms used to define rule conditions and actions are usually expressed by domain or industry-specific nomenclature. For example, an e-mail user writes rules in terms
of messages "received from" and messages "received after," while an insurance business analyst writes rules in terms of "risk factors" and "coverage amount."
Underlying this domain-specific terminology are the technology artifacts (objects, database tables, and XML documents) that implement rule conditions and rule actions.
Vocabularies are designed to bridge the gap between business semantics and implementation.
