Are you seeing this
when you double click on a thumbnail file? If so it's an indication that the file path/link between the thrumbnail and original, full sized file has been broken. Therefore, and assuming you're running iPhoto 9 or later, try the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down to open the First Aid window.
2 - Run Option #4, Rebuild Database.

"Firefox is already running but is not responding" error message and recent firefox update

"Firefox is already running but is not responding" error message is continuously popping up after the recent firefox update. I have nearly exhausted every possible solution to the problem as seen from the support page for this error message. I know someone who has the same issue on their computer and it also started right after the recent big update. Does the update have anything to do with this reoccurring issue? Is anyone else having this problem? Any other ideas on how to fix it? It would be great to get some help.

Foxfire stays in back gro I get this script when I try to get back on Foxfire after closing it. Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart.

This happens 95% of the time when I close Foxfire and then later try to get back on. I usually have to restart my computer before getting back on to Foxfire.

After trying every suggestion and uninstalling & installing with clean copy. I still get firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window

I have tried to restore to an earlier period. uninstalled then reinstalled mozilla, and restarted numerous times, but whenever I try to open the message Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you much first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system.
Can use some advanced insight on this.

Try to use "Firefox > Exit" (Windows: Firefox/File > Exit; Mac: Firefox > Quit Firefox; Linux: Firefox/File > Quit) to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the Firefox title bar.

Frequently when I open Firefox it says Firefox is already running but is not responding. I have to go to the task manager, find Firefox and close the process before I can get firefox to load.
