How to know the tables used in an Extractor?

Hi Friends,
Is there any method to find out the underlying tables used in an extractor?
For example , 2LIS_11_VAITEM datasource uses tables VBAP and VBUP( item status). For LOs we can see it in Lo **** pit. So If any extractor uses more than one table ..then how do you see those?? . If it is generic ds which is based on Functional Module, then what is the procedure other going into table tab.
Actuall i would like to know for DS of FICA Open items 0FC_OP_01 .

Hi If it is LO extractor:
Use transaction code LBWE in the R/3
Go to the extractor for which you want to see the data( Logistic app->Extractors)
Go to maintenance
You will get an option to update just click yes and then you will get option to create request.Just check the display, it will lead you top the window where you can see where all the fields are and from which table it is available.

Tables used in LO extractors

Hi
Can anyone point me to a document that shows the tables used in a Logistics extractor? Even If I get a few, that would still be ok.
I used to think I could get this by looking at the Comm Structure and removing MC from the name but this isn't the case as shown in the extractor 2LIS_18_I3OPER and looking at MCVGIH. Table VGIH does not exist.
I thought I was smart by trying an sql trace to find the tables but this doesn't work as well.
Can you assist?

Do what I do most often. Just in case you need more help ... post here ...
1. Goto ST05 transaction
2. Open another session by typing /orsa3
3. Enter the datasource name Example: 2LIS_18_I3OPER
4. Go to the previous session of ST05... Click on Activate trace
5. Go to the previous session of RSA3 and execute
6. Go to ST05 session and press Deactivate trace.
7. Press Display Trace.
8. You will find ther relevant tables...

DB table for function module extractor

I would really appreciate any comment or suggestion about this topic: Function module based extraction. I opened this thread on the BC & Extractors forum, but unfortunately none has given me any feedback yet.

So none see any advantage with storing the extracted data in a materialized DB table, before transmitting the records to BW. Can I infer it's probably not a good idea wasting time with an additional massive write operation?

Hi,
I would suggest you to create a new sales document and try to find out how does it the new entry is entered in VBUK, VBUP, VBEP and VBBE tables. Also, try to change / modify and delete existing record and see the changes in the table. You need to check which date fields or any deletion indicator is set / modified or not. Do all this one by one and see the changes in the tables. Also, all these changes will be logged in change log table such as CDHDR and CDPOS. This will have all the history of changes for one sales document. Once you identify all this then it will be very easy for you to identify the delta fields. The other way is to speak to functional consultant and ask him how all these tables are affected when you change / modify / add / delete records.

I need a confirmation about the fact that there is no extractor on CRT results (cumulative table) for HR payroll results.
By contrast, there is only datasource 0HR_PY_1 that deals with RT table.
HR time extractors
On the other hand, have you any information (not the SAP help) regarding the tables that are used in Time Management extractors, do you know which important result tables are not extracted via BCT datasources ?

Adding additional tables to the extractor configuration

Hi Experts,
Can you please help me adding additional tables to the SAP extractor and to configure the field data in the orgstructure to show a flag against the position.

This has probably added a data element - I would check in the dataelementconfiguration folder in your build's .delta folder. IF so then you have the first step completed. Now you need to add the necessary configurations to use the data that comes through this data element.
Go to your orgchart/hierarchy and navigate to Views. Here select your view (or your first view if this needs to be done for more than one view - if so you'll need to repeate these steps but not the step you already did in the Data Centre), and then click the + icon next to Design Details. Here you can add a new linked detail to your view detail. Simply give it a name, select the detail to link it to (usually the top level detail which is in blue), select a link field and then select your data element that was created in the Data Centre.
Now if you try to add a section to your view inside the Design Details view designer you will see your new detail added. You can then select it and add fields from this detail.
Also, can you please guide me how to use the fields from this table (HRP1010) to write
a small piece of logic to show a flag for a particualr position based on data.
Once you have been able to add the data in the views designer you will probably need to do some XML and XSL editing because you cannot edit XSL files in the AdminConsole and you will need to do this to get your icon/flag to show.
First of all you need to create a new XSL file and put it into a folder in your .delta\root folder. For example, My_XSL_files. Here you need to write the code to render your flag based on your variable. You can find plenty of examples in all of the pre-existing XSL files. Then you need to copy PresentationResources.xml to .delta\root\XML and add the reference to your new XSL file.
Go to your build's .delta folder and go to detailconfiguration. Find the detail you just created and open it. You'll find a section in their that you just added with a reference to an XSL file (e.g. if you added a Simple Caption section it will probably be something like SimpleCaptionXSL). Change this to the reference in the PresentationResources.xml.
Load your build in the AdminConsole and hit Publish. Once done you should see your icon. Sometimes if your XSL is invalid or the code doesn't work you won't see anything. This is not unusual as the whole process can be quite tricky - even for us with lots of experience!

Hi ,
1.All data source extractors basically work on tables only .However some extractors are based on table or view directly.
2.To check this you can go to R/3 TCODE RSA2 and here can give datasource name .
3.In Extraction tab you will find Extraction Method .
V is for transperent table or DB view .
Here you will find the details about all extractors extraction method.

Based on my understanding of how those extractors work, they basically work off MSEG/MKPF and USEG ...
So in other words those are extractors for goods movements and cost/retail revaluations.
What I am looking for (which is contained in table ISEG) is an extractor for the actual physical count (or "cycle count" I think it's called) that is entered into ERP.
Would this be visible in 2LIS_03_BF in some shape or form? Identified by some key like 0PROCESSKEY or similar?

Table prmter E_T_DATA for extract missing & TYPE-POOL "RSAZT" is unknown

I have created generic extraction, the name of the FM is ZRSAX_BIW_GET_DATA_CRASS.
I have set parameter table E_T_DATA like this in Tables tab
E_T_DATA LIKE ZRPS_CRASS
Then I set transaction data extraction using tcode RSO2 using FM ZRSAX_BIW_GET_DATA_CRASS and structure ZRPS_CRASS, name the datasource : Z_COPA_CRASS
I have run rsa3 and get 563 data using this datasource (Z_COPA_CRASS) at the development system
But why when I transport this into QA and Production, I get these following error on transport log:
1 Table parameter E_T_DATA for extractor missing
2 TYPE-POOL 'RSAZT' is unknown (check using tcode se38, program name : SAPLZRSAX, include : LZRSAXTOP)
For no 1:
Why this error happen?I have set E_T_DATA to extraction structure correctly...I think...
For no 2:
When i check my development system, this type pool exist but when i check in production system, the type pool doesn't exist.
Anyone can solve my problem?Thank you.

Hi Satria,
Go to SE37 -> give the FM name (dont click on display/change) -> on the menu bar -> Click on Go To -> Function groups -> Change Groups -> Get the Function group name. -> Just edit the Function Group description so that the Function group get collected in the TR. Also in the same window go to MAin program -> just reactivate and collect them in the TR.
The whole function group will be collected. Apart from these, also collect the Structure, Datasource and import it again.
This problem arised many times for me, i have re transported the function group and things used to work properly once the Trasnporting the Function group is successful

BI-Content Extractor for PS Partner roles?

Hi all
we are in need to extract PS Partner-roles.
As we could see, data is stored in IHPA and is referenced by the obj-id out of 0PROJECT_ATTR.
So now the question: is there any BI-content-extractor available for extracting IHPA? Unfortunately, we couldn't find anyone so far.

Setup table data

Hi ,
Our basis people doing R/3 to ECC upgarde every time they are getting issue with Extract Structures When I delete LO Setup table data then they can do the process succesfully, Please suggest me how to in activate setup table data in LO **** pit... it's quite urgent.

Program name for fill up setup table vistex agreement datasources

Am using the Vistex agreement data source in which i want to retrieve the data into BI landscape.
For my concern i have seen one article,

i can able to see in se38 we need to run program to fill up the set up table ,for different different extractors which is mentioned in the above articles.
but in my case am using ,
/IRM/LIS_RM_IPCRASP direct agreement condition
/IRM/LIS_RM_IPBBASP indirect agree condition
for the above mentioned two extractor wat is the program name to fill the set up table?
experts plz guide me its an urgent one,

GL Extractor

hello all,
0FI_GL_4 has source tables BKPF and BSEG. There are few fields like MWSKZ, ZEKKN,etc which are present in BSEG table but not in extractor.
Why is this so?
Should I enhance the extractor to bring in these fields?

Hi Y P,
It depends on the scenario whether you want the information from these fields for analysis.
if you have to calculate something based on these values in BW system then you can enhance the extract structure for mentioned data source.
