its urgent i went to outsation thats y.

The author of the thread (GoldRenard) has strictly denied to mirror the file. I have given the link of the THREAD too. Just expand "Stock firmware catalog" and then choose the Firmware according to your tablet model and download it.

I’m sorry to inform you that “Malayalam” language cannot be installed to display all the options and instructions in the Tablet. Only the Keyboard can be installed in the android device to type “Malayalam”. Below is the link to download the keyboard layout for the same:

How to upograde Android on Ideatab a1000

I wonder if it is able to upgrade Android on my Ideatab a1000 from recent 4.1.2 version to 4.2. I wanted to have multiple users on this tablet and on another forums{pages found out that this is possible only on 4.2.
Is there a way on how to get this version on my tablet?

A1000G tablet is running on Android 4.1.2 since it was officialy released. It was released here on May 2013. And also two other tablets were released with it, that are- A3000 and S6000. Both of these got update of Android 4.2. So why not A1000? There are too many fixes by Google in newer version which makes the performance smoother and faster. I also read in many discussions that tgere is some problem with 4.2 update for A1000. But how can there be? Is this small saying enough for not providing update to A1000?
Most of the phones and tablets which were released with 4.1 are now at the least upgraded to 4.2 (also most of cheap devices). I am not telling to provide Kitkat 4.4, but atleast provide 4.2 update. This will surely earn more reputation in market and also many people have this tablet and want an android upgrade.
At last I want to tell only one thing that you have provided atleast one android upgrade to all (almost) tablets. Then why not to A1000? Please think about A1000 users...Plzzz...Our tab is not outdated, it's just 6 months after it's release.

Load and Trim Problems with IdeaTab A1000

Lenovo IdeaTab A1000 16GB at work was a terrible device. Having spent two weeks hanging software. I had to give a warranty repairs.
After a week of warranty repairs, the device worked for five hours and again hung software ...
I'm beginning to think that was wrong with the choice of the device.

Please help: Nook Tablet app development with AIR/Flash CS5.5?

I developed my first-ever iOS app using Flash CS5.5 (the app has stability issues, addressed in a separate thread). Next on the list is Android deployment.
Can anyone indicate if Flash CS5.5 can be used to develop Android apps for the Nook Tablet? My problem is that the Android-based guidance I've read tells you to take your Android device and configure it for "USB Debugging." The Nook Tablet has no such setting, unlike many other Android phones and tablets. Basically, I need current step-by-step guidance on Android development, plus any guidance on anything different that needs to be done for the Nook Tablet. Thank you for any advice.

Hi, I can confirm that you can develop apps for the NOOK color and tablet. You must use Air 2.6 since the device is pre loaded with that version of air.
Some devices dont support USB debugging, like my kindle fire however a more painful way of doing it is to publish out an apk and then manually load it on to your device either through a file manager of some sort or by emailing yourself the file and then installing it. Be sure to enable your device to accept unknown source files.
I recently published a couple of apps to the NOOK store that I had only tested on an HTC phone and the kindle fire and they both passed the test so I believe the NOOK seems to behave very similar to most android devices and the kindle fire, same dimensions at least as the KF.

My graphics tablet doesn't work in Flash CS4?

In Flash the cursor won't move if I use my tablet, but it moves if I use the mouse.. the tablet works outside of flash, like in paint.
I use Windows 7 if thats the problem.
EDIT: Yes, I do have the latest drivers for Windows 7.

OK, so if any one has the same problem.. I fixed it by deleting an old driver I had and then installed the newest driver for Windows 7...

Windows 8 is shipped in with pre-installed Flash Player for both the desktop and RT (tablets) editions. So all tablets and touch screen devices running on Windows 8 should be able to support Flash Player by default.

I have created an application in Flash part of which requires
a form to be filled in. This form consits of multiple TextInput and
TextArea components amongst others.
When used on a tablet then the icon for the Tablet Input
Panel (TIP) does not show automatically and instead the TIP has to
be launched from the taskbar
Is there a way for Flash Player to pick up this and launch
the TIP when required.
If not will it be resolved in future Flash Players? (mainly

Sorry it's taken so long to get back. Problems logging in as the site doesn't recognise me (I'm currently in Thailand).
I have a Portege 3500 Tablet PC.
It works fine as a laptop PC but if I now try to use it as a notebook the Tablet PC Input Panel will not load.
The icon is there - but it always reports an error (and wants to tell Microsoft about it - ha!)
In other words I now cannot use the Tablet function at all.
The PC is 14 months old (ish) and is otherwise functioning normally (that's tempting fate isn't it).
Is this a recognised problem - whatever - is there a solution? I have no recovery disks here unfortunately.

Not able to reset Ideatab A1000, frozen in full test

When I pressed Power+Volume UP ,in Lenovo A7-30 in order to reset, got no factory mode options but 4 options like Full Test, ub test etc. Selected Full test and since then there is a red square appearing. How can I switch it off ? Please help. How can I get the option to reset?

Sometimes it will load up web pages straight away,but most of the time it takes ages and then says "the connection to the server has timed out" or i just get a blank page that just doesn't load up at all! My wifi connection is absolutely fine,so why am i having this problem?

i would like to know specs of my tablet because i bought it used and dont have box, and there is no way to know how many internal memory is supossed to bring from factory, i have tried to look on all lenovo instances and there is no a place where i can consult it with it serial number or model.
all information is general and i want specifical information to know if there is a way.

my issue is it is marking free space of 1.58 gb on internal memory, and i guess it is supossed to be a 16gb model.

Might be the 4GB ROM version (http://www.gsmarena.com/lenovo_ideatab_a1000-5352.php) and that ''marking free space of 1.58 gb on internal memory'' might be related to how the internal memory is partitioned(not all of that internal space/memory will be available to the user)
To see how your storage is partitioned you can use THIS app.
Also please keep in mind that (like in the SD Cards/USB Drives case) the actual available memory is a little less than the ''advertised'' one.Example:An 4GB SD Card will actually show about 3.7GB,an 8GB SD Card will show about 7.3GB and so on...

Why can't I draw using my pen tablet in Flash?

I can draw with my pen tablet in Photoshop, but not Flash! I have a Yiynova tablet monitor that works excellent for drawing in Photoshop, but when I try to draw in Flash I get this odd straight line that goes straight off my canvas. Is this because Flash can't recognize my pen? I can still use the shape tool, and other parts the program by clicking around. But the second I try to draw, I only get this weird line --->

This issue is fixed in latest Oct update of Flash Pro CC 2014. The new version is 14.1.0.96. Please check if you have this version.
If the issue is still happening, Can you please provide the following information
Flash Pro Version Number
Tablet model
Tablet driver version Number
Mapping mode set for the tablet ,Is it PEN mode or MOUSE mode.
----------------If its Mouse mode pressure and tilt does not work. Please set the mapping mode to PEN.
Also check what is the compatibility mode set : RightClick the FlashPro Application Shortcut -> Properties > Compatibility and checking the "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" option.
There was similar issue reported on Re: Sensibility on flash cc 2014. Check if this helps.
PS : Generally updating to the latest wacom driver and restarting the system and Flash Pro resolves most of the issue.Please try this once.Latest wacom drive can be downloaded fromhttp://us.wacom.com/en/support/drivers/

Which Tablet plays both Flash and Quicktime

Hello need some advise from you~
I am looking at a Tablet that supports both Flash and Quicktime.
So far I only know that Honeycomb 3.0 supports flash. But you can download this "Rock Player" application to run Quicktime.
On the other hand, I Pad supports quicktime and not flash.
What about the blackberry playbook. I am curiouse about its OS?
Over all I am lookign for a tablet that will play both flash and quicktime straight on the web. ex: apple movie trailer / youtube

I had the same symptoms and realized today that the answer was to make sure that 'Enable plug-ins' was checked under:
Safari
Preferences
Security
I don't know why it was unchecked all of a sudden, but maybe this will work for you?
