Tabs stopped working

None of the stinking buttons will work in gmail. I can log in from the igoogle screen, but when I try to log out from the sign out button, NOTHING HAPPENS. So I close the browser and restart, then I cannot log in from the sign in button. WTF??? I have to close the browser just to log out of my account!
I just switched over to CHROME and DO NOT LIKE THE FACT THAT IT HAS AUTOMATIC SIGN IN (no matter that you sign out) and I don't want to have to go to the settings menu every time I wish to sign out of my account. THIS BITES TOO. I don't want every Tom and Hairy Dick being able to access my accounts! WTF?????!!!!
I'd rather go back to Mozilla, but can't use it.

You can clear the cookies from a site to get logged out.
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

It is just a JSF facelets page, nothing unusual. And it is not only this page, but all of them, so it is IDE trouble, not my code.
Tried to restart. Tried to reboot. Nothing.
On runtime everything's fine.
I really wouldn't like to reinstall JDeveloper and resotre all the IDE and IntegratedWebLogic configutration back again.
Is there any hope for solvation?

Arrow buttons for shifting through tabs stop working

On my Linux Ubuntu system with Firefox 17.0.1 (and with several earlier releases, eg 12-16 I think) after a few weeks the tab triangle or arrowhead on one or more Firefox windows becomes defective. This problem is different from http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/931515 in that if I restart the browser and resume the Firefox session the problem goes away for a while. (Note: I will wait until 05:00 UTC on 28 Dec before restarting FF to clear the current instance of the problem, in case anyone can suggest other relevant tests or data.)
The main symptoms are these: Triple click no longer slides the list of tabs all the way left or right. Double click appears to work once (from an extreme end). Single clicks step the tab list one tab at a time up to near an extreme end but then stop working before the extreme tab becomes visible. The following paragraphs give some more details about the symptoms.
When the problem occurs, tabs for new pages (eg reached by links from the right-most visible tab and opened in new tabs) do not become visible (that is, are not squeezed into the list on the tabs bar). The right-facing triangle, although not grayed out, does not make the tabs for the newly opened pages visible, but seems to have no effect. Clicking the X for the right-most visible tab closes that page and then one of the tabs that are "hidden out to the right" becomes visible, but other tabs out to the right remain inaccessible.
Meanwhile, the tab triangle arrowheads continue to work ok on other FF windows. For example, the left and right tab triangles in this current FF window (where 15 tabs are visible for 17 pages open in the window) are working fine. But in the FF window with the problem (where 15 tabs are visible for 40 pages open in the window) the triangles stop working one tab too soon: they don't give access to the leftmost or rightmost tab.
Note, clicking + (Open a new tab) jumped the list to the right end, with the new tab and an empty page visible; but after I clicked the left triangle three times, so that the new tab scrolled off to the right, no matter how many times I click the right triangle, that tab remains invisible, even though the webpage for it is still visible as the currently selected page. Opening a URL from command line acts the same way.
The system runs Linux 3.2.0-35-generic #55-Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS x86_64 system with Firefox 17.0.1. I don't remember when I first encountered the problem but believe it was in 2011 (vs 2010) on a Fedora 7 system. Restarting FF has always cleared the problem. The command line "echo session $DESKTOP_SESSION desktop $XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP; wmctrl -m" produces (in part)

Firefox left/right arrows are broken.
When you have multiple tabs open and you use the left and right arrows to scroll through your open tabs, they stop at a certain point, you then have to click the little, "List all tabs" icon in order to access one of your open tabs.
This is on a Windows 7 64-Bit OS. I've already followed all the instructions, still no good. This is Firefox version 19.0.2

The plus sign next to my tab stopped working: when I click on it nothing happens. I tried uninstalling and re-installing and it still doesn't work.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

#Click the "Reset Firefox" button.

Properties Tab Stopped Working

Is there a way to make the properties tab start working again. After I add a component in Design View, the properties tab for that component doesn't appear. Even after I right-click on it and select Properties, the Properties tab for the component still says 'No description available'. This worked for the first few projects I created but I can't get it to work for any new projects.

I not sure if property sheet stopped working. There was a bug that caused the description part of the property sheet to occupy the whole area of the sheet when a build window opens at the bottom. Property sheet is a split pane and it is possible to resize the description are to occupy smaller space thus revealing the actual properties again.

Why Ctrl+Tab stops working when opening a flash embedded page?

This a huge pet peeve I have. Everytime I watch a video in youtube.com or megavideo.com, I can't just Ctrl+Tab to change tabs. I'll have to clic in some portion of the page without video to get it to work, but even that, isn't always the case.

Tab stops working properly if .swf is loaded by SWFLoader

Hello,
I have swf file built by Flash CS5. The file contains different user interface entities like dialogs and buttons.
All the objects are exported for ActionScript and controlled by the ActionScript code.
I made loader that loads above mentioned swf by SWFLoader and shows the content.
If I use this loader the Tab button stops working properly. It doesn't change the keyboard focus.
What is wrong? What have I missed?

I also tried to implement IFocusManagerComponent interface by TextFields as told here http://forums.adobe.com/message/3127914
but It seems it's not enough.
I also found out that it's necessary to implement IFocusManager, but I can't find the example of the implementation.

Pinch to reduce tabs stopped working?

I am using Safari 6.0.4 on my Macbook. I used to be able to pinch two fingers together on the track pad and and reduce the tabs that were currently open. Then I would be able to scroll between them with a tw finger swipe. This feature has stopped working I cannot figure out how to turn it back on. Any help would be appreciated.

Same issue on an ipad air.

Why do the tabs sometimes stop working? For no apparent reason, it just stops letting me add a new tab, even if I have only 2-3 open. And if I close an open tab, I still can't add any more. Quiting and reopening the browser seems to be the only fix.

Empty the Safari cache more often. You can do that from the Safari menu bar.
If that doesn't help, could be corrupted preferences.
Go to ~/Library/Preferences. Move the com.apple.Safari.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Desktop.
Quit then relaunch Safari to test. If that helped, move the .plist file to the Trash.
~ (Tilde) character represents your Home folder.

IE tab stopped working

IE Tab has stopped working. I've uninstalled and reinstalled IE Tab-2 and still no luck. When I click on it i just get a blank screen. Any thoughts appreciated.

is possible that IE Tab is not compatible with the last version of firefox or that the crash has corrupt the DLL on the Registry of the system and when you install and unistall more time an application without rebbot the Registry can corrupt its sector and the application will not run.

Fox tab stopped working once adobe flash player 11 was installed on my mac OS X 10.6.8 it is just a black screen. If I uninstall, fox tab shows up and says I need to down load adobe again

When I double click on the tool bar on the bottom of the black screen on fox tab, adobe settings shows up. I delete adobe then the black screen shows the fox tab again and says to view it I need to down load the latest version of adobe flash player.

Tylerdowner, as a moderator, one would think that, prior to adjusting comments/solutions, especially when not having a Mac, you would do more research (bet you know someone with a Mac, to duplicate problem), or pass responding on to a moderator who does have a Mac (I am amazed that you are even a moderator on Mac problems/situations, if you only have access to a PC). Had the solutions above worked, I would not have needed to figure out another solution (we all know the newest release of anything is the most secure). Finally I am open to any fixes (tested) that you can provide, that improve upon mine. As a moderator, maybe you have pull with the Foxtab and/or Adobe people to get them to work out compatibility, and lastly, maybe add a warning at the Foxtab add-ons page, after verifying the problem yourself, with an associate's/friend's Mac.

Right click, open Link in New Tab stopped working

Right clicking on a link in page and selecting either open link in new tab or window does NOT work. Nothing hapens. Just started the other day. Also cannot use Ctrl and right click. Works in Chrome. Right click and paste, etc work.

Try a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before reinstalling a fresh copy of Firefox.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

Uninstall your current Firefox version, if possible, to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.

App Tabs stopped working

On FF 16.0.1, I set 4 app tabs, as I had done in another version. (I had tried to reset FF, but it hung during the process and wouldn't finish, so I uninstalled and then installed 16.0.1).
Initially they worked. But in the same session, they froze. I could not switch to any of the four. Right-clicking on them got toolbar options (try right-clicking on the "+" tab - that's what I get). Closing the window and re-opening did not fix it. The little spinners showing connections being made, spun, but I could not access any of the tabs. They are only dead real estate now; they do nothing, and I can't dismiss them.
The websites (like Facebook) they pointed to are still accessible, but only from a regular tab. When I tried making an App Tab from one of them again, I got another "wooden" tab.
I loved App Tabs when I had them previously, But now I have a couple inches of my tab line that are inoperable. Since the right-click menu doesn't bring up a "close tab" option, I can't even get rid of them. The dead tabs DO have the site logos/icons on them.

Problems with buttons and links at the top of the page not working can be caused by an extension like the Yahoo! Toolbar or a Babylon extension that extents too much downwards and covers the top part of the browser window and thus makes links and buttons in that part of the screen not clickable.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

Fox tab stop working on windows 7 ultimate and running firefox 10.0.2

I'm having a problem with my fox tabs on my laptop running windows 7 ultimate. I have firefox 10.0.2. My fox tabs don't work and I'm not sure when it happen because I don't use it on my laptop a lot. I have a desktop running xp and it is OK on it. I use it a lot on the desktop. What do I have to do to get my fox tabs working again? I tried removing them and reinstalling them but it didn't work.

The last couple of days when I opened fox tabs none of my top sites was there. All I had was a black screen. It also was frozen and I had to close the tab and reopen it.
I don't know why but this morning it seems to be ok. The only thing I did yesterday was to update my plugins for real player 15.0.2.72.

Why have my tabs stopped working?

Recently the tabs are not working, I click to open a new tab and nothing happens, using CTRL+T does not work, only right clicking and selecting a link to open a new tab works so I have to do that on a random link everytime i need a new tab. Solutions?
I have shutdown FF, restarted laptop etc. Only thing I haven't tried is re-installing FF which is something I don't want to do.

The Ask Toolbar is causing that in the Firefox 3.6.13 version. Evidently something in that extension isn't compatible with a Firefox security fix. Disable that extension or un-install it.

Ability to open multiple tabs stopped working.

I have always been able to open multiple tabs using Command-T - now all of a sudden when I use that shortcut, it just opens to the multi-tab screen instead of a new tab and no way to get back to the page I was on.

As an alternate, if you click on the + at the right of the Safari menu bar, a blank tab will open.

P.S. You could try deleting the preference file (com.apple.safari.plist) and restarting. However, if you do that, you will need to reenter your personal preferences.
