Tags to be used in appraisal template

Hi We are on EHP4, implementing Performance Management, generic version.
I'm trying to format the text displayed in the PM document using formatting in the description field (Web Layout) inside the template.
I have used the tags h1, h2, em, p, ul, li and strong, these works well
But when I try something more advanced like the div tag i get an error when opening the document.
This is the formatting from the template:
{div style=color:#00ff00>text in a different color</div}
< replaced by { and > replaced by }
And this is the result in the templatre
(Formatting removed due to invalid entries: Tag "<div>" has incomprehensible parameters : style=color:#00ff00 )
When previeweing the template in the PHAP_CATALOG_PA transaction, the result look correct, I get the differentg color.
My questions are: where can i see a list of tags, which can be used in this context, and if possible how should the div tag be constructed?

webdynpro appears to use XHTML instead of HTML so the syntax is a bit more limitted and more picky.

What is the use of Further Participants in an Appraisal Template?
I have designed appraisal templates which have two levels of appraisers, but did not use Further Participants in it.
When should be Further Particpants used and when is that it should not be used?

appraissees and further participants access the appraisals by the ESS (Portal) role and appraisers by the MSS role. So they appear in different overview screens.

How to unreleased Appraisal templates which are alreay being in used

Hi Experts,
I am looking for the solution how to unreleased appraisal templates which are already released and also used by the Employees for their PDD process.
We are facing one problem in PDD templates, so we want to make some changes in already released templates.
Is there any way or solution by any Functional method/settings or by ABAP program?
Please reply as it is very critical and important for us to solve ASAP.

Now that might work (actually it will work). But you need to be 100% sure that your changes will not infleunce the appraisal process. Because it is not that hard to cause unrepairable data inconsistencies on already existing appraisal documents!!
There is a very good reason for not being able to unrelease templates once they are in use!
One is that you can create incorrect appraisal documents from a business point of view.
Say your document end appraisal is a 1-10 scale, one being the worst. The appraisal gets a 3 as final score, meaning in this scale quite bad. Now you unrelease the template and change the used scale to a 1-4 scale. Your very bad employee turns all of a sudden in a quite good employee!
Even worse, you can create database inconsistencies on document level. Just remove elements or columns from the template and you will get very strange results after releasing again.
I don't recommend changing templates once documents are based on them but if you use this option then be carefull!

Configure HRHAP00_GET_LIST_FLT BADI implementation in appraisal template using OOHAP_BASIC T-code

Hi Experts,
I want to modify List of Incomplete Appraisal Documents in appraisal template, for which I have found a BADI HRHAP00_GET_LIST_FLT (Displayed in further Badis section of RHHAP_BADI_OVERVIEW program).
I have created implementation of this BADI but I am unable to see BADI in OOHAP_BASIC transaction (I have checked all the enhancement areas).
Please let me know how can I configure the implementation of BADI HRHAP00_GET_LIST_FLT in OOHAP_BASIC T-code.
(I have also checked that BADI implementation was not getting triggered by simply activating the implementation)

EhP4 Flexible Appraisal template HTML errors

We are reviewing the new Web Dynpro Flexible Appriasal interface in EhP4. When we create a new appraisal from our current appraisal template, the html tags for each criteria (Description - Web Layout) are displayed along with the text on the new WD UI. There is also an error message under each criteria description. If we remove the html and just use the standard Description, the form displays correctly.
Is there a way/setting to make the WD UI in EhP4 display html?

Also, please implement SAP Note 1354044 if you are not in NW7.01 SP5.

OSA - ERROR while downloading \ uploading appraisal template

Hello!
May be some of you came across the same problem: when appraisal template using object Q as reference object for VB or VC is being uploading into the other client it is copied with error. The relationship 607 between objects is not ceated in the other client, so the object is not correct. Is it a standard solution

I am inclined to think that lack of relationship 607 between objects VB and Q while uploading appraisal template into other client is due to a programm error but we failed to find relativa SAP Note, may be someone came across the problem?

Regarding addition of new column in existing appraisal templates

hi gurus,
i m working on the existing appraisal templates in which i have to add one more column named "Avereage Rating"
       in which the average of "MID YEAR ACHIEVEMENT COLUMN TOTAL VALUE" & "FINAL APPRAISAL RATING COLUMN TOTAL VALUE"
       for eg:"(3.5+4.0)/2 = 3.75" i.e the value 3.75 will come in the average rating column,plz help me to sort out
       this column,for this,no doubt i have added the column for this but for the value "3.75" what "value list",
       "value class" & "value determination" sud i use against this column plz help me....

Change the Appraisal Template in Mid of Year.

Hi All,
We want to edit the appraisal template which is being used in Production.
System is allowing to edit the template in development as there are no documents created. Once we transport the change to production what will be the implication.
Q1. Is it recommended to change the template after it is being used.
Q2. If really need to edit the template in mid of appraisal process how do we go forward.

We are on ECC 6.0 and SP 43.
We need to put some extra fields / Notes to the targets and extra sub statuses to correctly identify the condition.
But already appraisal process started and documents are created. Now we cannot either create the same documents in new template or postpone the appraisal template change to next year.
In this situation we decided to change the existing template. We want to know what will be the implications if we change the template in development and transport it to production???
Download and upload will create a new template which will not be useful for our case.

Technical Link b/w Employee and Appraisal Template

Hi,
Can anybody please help me in finding the technical link b/w an Employee and an Appraisal Template? In other words, I need to know the table name(s) in which data is stored while appraisal processed is going on. I can view the appraisal form in IT0024 and IT0025 in PA. I can also see the objects VA, VB & VC in PP01, but where are these entries stored in the table.
We are on SAP R/3 4.7 (Enterprise) and using new Objective Setting and Appraisal Component.

Hi there,
Function module 'HRHAP_DOCUMENT_GET_LIST' can be used for this purpose.
In order to find the objects you want, make sure you set the appraisal templates for calling this function as well as all of the other required parameters. If you need help for the other parameters then let me know.
The fields for the template table import parameter need to be set as follows:
plvar = Active plan version
otype = VA or VB or VC
objid = appraisal template id
This returns two tables - the appraisals and the associated documents.
Other tables you may be interested in are :
HRHAP_T
HRHAP
HRHAP_APPER
HRHAP_APPEE

Appraisal Template ID in which table

Hi Friends-
In this standard report RHXHAP_APP_DOC_PREPARE_ORG one field Appraisal Template is ther where it shows 8 digit ID number ,
Now my i have two querys
1) In which table i can see this Template ID number as later i have to relat it to fetch other data (its there in hrp1000 with OType VA ) but that is not useful for me.
2) on this statndard screen i have to add Employee number ( pernr ) too and based on that too i have to create appraisal document ( can any one tell me any simple process for this )
Any input will be big help for me

Copying prog is making this req more complex and then i have to add Personal number , sub area etc too in selection screen.
So am looking any standards FM which can take personal number and Template id as input and create apprisal id for that employee.

APPRAISAL TEMPLATE ISSUE (HR ABAP)

I have a appraisal template which is giving me 3 blank KRA's as standard one when template document is created from tcode PHAP_PREPARE_PA .
for appraiser and appraisee template.
but i want to add KRA's to the template during the creation of the template document
from tcode PHAP_PREPARE_PA based on the KRA's maintained for his position in a z table????

Hi Nandy,
As I understood you would appraisal items come from position requirements. If this is the case and If you go in standard way by adding requirements to your position you can use "Fixed enhancement" in "Dynamic Settings" section. The name of BADI is "HRHAP00_ENHANCE_FIX" otherwise you should develop your own code and use it through "Free enhancement"

Adding a box in Portal for Performance appraisal template

Dear Experts,
We have already released a performance appraisal template and its in production use for a while now.
Now, client wants to add 1 box titled 'Managers comment'. Since its already released template I cant make changes in it and add a criteria in the form of 'Managers Comment'. What is the solution? Is there a way by which we can make this box appear in portal through coding? This change is required in a template which is in use. We cant create a new template.
I know there is a note to make changes to released appraisal template but as its risky I dont want to use it.
Please advise.

Appraisal template standard buttons not working via ESS/MSS

Hi experts,
The error which I am facing in appraisal template is as follows
When I click on any button on appraisal template no action takes place.
Kindly let me know how can I resolve this error.
we are using BSP application HAP_DOCUMENT.
according to me page fragment 'document_buttons.htm' (Method CONVERT_BUTTON_TO_UI) contains the code for button creation and button handling
the page fragment 'document_buttons.htm' is getting triggered when page is initialized but it is not triggering when button is clicked.
Additional info that might be useful to resolve the issue:
1) While viewing appraisal template's web layout in t-code PHAP_CATALOG_PA.
I am facing following script error.
This error reappears when I click on any standard button For eg SAVE
2) We are currently using IE 8
3) We recently upgraded ECC system from ECC 6.0 to ECC 6.0 / EHP 6 (ECC 6.6)
4) I checked SICF and corresponding services are active

Design2008 service is inactive in my system.when activated temporarily I was not able to see previous page (Blank page was displayed) in my appraisal application.
For BSP application HAP_document, i checked SICF->default host->SAP->BC->BSP->SAP->HAP_document.This service is active.
The image which I have attached with my question is appraisal template's web layout in t-code PHAP_CATALOG_PA.

Problem in getting appraisal template

Hi All,
I am facing a problem in template configuration.
The appraisal template created in PHAP_CATALOG_PA is released but it is not getting created when i use transaction APPCREATE.It gives an error saying "NO APPRAISAL MODEL DEFINED IN THE SYSTEM.
I checked in spro but couldn't get any breakthrough.
So please suggest me the steps which i need to carry out in configuration.
