Task check box shaded dark grey

This is a very bizarre issue I just noticed after the recent December updates to SharePoint 2013. We have Project Server 2013 running in our deployment of SharePoint 2013 and after this last set of updates for SharePoint 2013 all of the task check boxes
in a project are a solid dark grey. When you click on one of the boxes to mark the task as completed, it just has a small amount of movement in the check box and remains a solid dark grey. Before the update the check boxes were normal and white and when you
complete a task it would show the check mark in the box.
Does anybody know why my task check boxes are like this, or has anybody seen this before? Not a show stopper, but a bit annoying.

In Acrobat Pro 9 can I set up the form that I created to allow customers to select a check box and after they have selected the check box, the form will grey out/lock all of the information that they don't need to fill out and keep the rest of the information that needs to be filled out open?

Confirm end of processing check box in task

Hi,
In my workflow used fork with 2 parallel branches.
In one branch is a dialog activity step ( sending doc to incorportaors for review - checked the confirm end of processing checkbox in the task )
and in the other branch is a 'Wait for Event' step ( wait for rejection - when status getting changes to 32).
when executing dialog activity with confirm end of processing,branch 1 wait step workitem is getting completed and branch 2 workitem is logically getting deleted and further step in the workflow is not executed in branch 2.
Same changes I am trying to do without confirm end of processing pop up.When I uncheck the check box and execute the dialog activity, branch 1 wait step workitem is getting completed and branch 2 workitem is also getting completed ( instead logically getting deleted ) and further step in the workflow is executed in branch 2. I dont want the remaining step to get executed.
Please let me know how to achieve this. I tried with some function module but its not working.
In the attached file, I have shown the screenshot where it is going wrong.

Both steps (in both branches) are getting executed by the same activity by the user. Yes, it's a race as correctly mentioned by Mike

Grey out the input field as soon as check box checks on selection screen!

In my report selection screen I have input_field1, input_field2, check_box1. Both input fields are mandatory fileds.
My requireemnt is: If user as soon as checks the check_box1, the first input_field1 must go grey out (not allow allow to enter)!
So I have assigned a user command to check box and assigned a modif-ID to the input_field1
and wrote a LOOP AT SCREEN code as below,

I assume P1, P2 and P3 are marked as obligatory.
You cannot achieve that. But here is an alternative to achieve a similar functionality.

User-Specific Check-box is greyed out in the SAVE LAYOUT popup screen

I have created a custom program and used the ALV grid.
In the ALV grid I have included the Layout options menu. (Choose, Select, Save, Manage).
When i try to save the layout, I cannot make it User-Specific. The User-Specific Check box is greyed out.
Please let me know how to enable it.

How to Check LT check box in IA02 - for Long text for Equipment Task list operations

Hi Experts,
I am trying to upload text for Equipment task list,i am able to upload texts at header,but not for operations.
At operations level - we have a check box LT which is grayed out - when am manually making an entry ( LT Check box - is getting checked when am creating entry manually ) - after manual entry - when i tried uploading text is working fine.
Can someone please tell me how to get the check box - checked - while saving text - using FM : SAVE_TEXT .

Dark grey bar obscuring part of export file dialogue box

Hi All,
I've recently noticed that when I export a picture and the save as file dialogue box opens a black or dark grey horizontal rectangle obscures part of the window and the files/folders in it as shown here:

I can usually work around it but it's a bit irritating. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and how I can fix it?

have you tried the basics yet? I think deleting preferences would be the place to start.

How to Strikethrough and Grey Out Check Box

Hello,
This is my first day using LiveCycle. I am trying to make a check box form (upon checking) strikethrough the entire field and grey out. I have the following FormCalc which I know is incomplete. Please help!! Currently the value is just causing my checkmark to turn the color value I've indicated.
(I have these settings Show: Click, Language: FormCalc, Run At: Client)

Problem with custom sharepoint designer approval workflow - check box: 'Start this workflow to approve publishing a major version of an item' is greyed out

I wanted to create a simple approval workflow. Hence I opted to start from scratch rather than copy the OOTB approval WF. Using SharePoint Designer (not Visual studio) I created a reusable workflow and have added the built in 'Start approval process' action.
It's saved and published globally.
Everything works fine except that when associating the WF with a list the 'Start this workflow to approve publishing a major version of an item' check box is disabled.
Major and minor versioning is enabled for the library.
What am I missing here? Or do I have to start from the OOTB approval WF to get this to work?

Again - new ideas pop up right after defining the issue as a problem. :-) Problem solved!
I solved this by creating a new workflow from the original publishing approval workflow (copy and replace), but instead of tweaking the already defined approval process (WF action) I deleted it, then deleted all initiation form and local variables,
and then added the 'Start approval process' action again. This re-installs all the necessary local variables without any initiation form involvement, which is just what I want.
From here I can tweak the workflow to make it more user friendly, much like
described by Bobby Chiang in his great blog.
Remember to add action Set Workflow Variable 'EnableContentApproval' to Yes right before the Start Approval Process action, else the document's status won't be set to 'Approved' or 'Rejected' as an output of the workflow.

The Video check box in the Import Settings is greyed out, what have I done?

I am using a Sony Handycam HDR-SR5E with final cut pro (v7.0l). When logging and transferring my recent files I found i only imported the sound. So returning to the log and transfer window, and checking on the import settings i notice the check boxes are grayed out and the video box is unchecked.
I have no idea what I have done, some of the files will allow me to import video, but the files i really need won't. Just retested the camera and the file i just recorded will allow me to import the video. Any ideas, i want to avoid making the same mistake again and ideally would like to get the video out of the camera.

Deleting FCP Preferences:
Open a Finder window. Set the view mode to columns:
Click the house icon that has your name next to it.
Click the folder "Library" in the next column.
Find and click the folder "Preferences" in the next column.
Find and click the folder "Final Cut Pro User Data" in the next column.
Move the files "Final Cut Pro 6.0 Prefs", "Final Cut Pro Obj Cache" and "Final Cut Pro Prof Cache" to the Trash and empty it.
When you have a stable set of preference files, download [Preference Manager|http://www.digitalrebellion.com/pref_man.htm] to back them up.

Tri-state check boxes

I have a requirement to create tri-state check boxes. The check-box is supposed to show an aggregate value from multiple sources, so it may show "entirely on", "entirely off" or "mixed". The appearance for "mixed" (as seen in many word-processors when formatting large section of text, or when installing only some sub-components of a component of Windows,) should be a check on a gray background.
Currently my best effort has been to create a JPanel containing two JCheckBox objects stacked with an OverlayLayout. One has no text and is transparent to the mouse, it is just the check part. The other is partically obscured by the first, but provides the label and response to clicks. The latter updates the former with its state, but the former may be set to "mixed", which is simulated by disabling it.
This is a very ugly way of acheiving what I want. It does give consistently correct results across PLAFs, but it has a tendency to flicker because the functional JCheckBox doesn't like being obscured. It also doesn't show shading in the box while the mouse button is held down over it, because this occurs in the obscured component, not the puppet component shown. Is there an existing component with the functionality I desire? Alternatively is there some way to create a new component without having to extend every PLAF that I want to use with it? Trying to figure out how to add new components in the same look and feel is quite intimidating.

I also installed Adobe Reader because an ebook I downloaded wouldn't open without it.
I then chose Adobe Reader as my default. When I later uninstalled it using the Trash Me app-which usually clears everything out-I couldn't get Preview back as the default.
I went to the "Library/Internet plug-ins" path and trashed the two Adobe Reader plug ins that were there. I used Secure Empty Trash, and then shut down completely and did not check the box to reopen any windows. Then I restarted the Mac.
I not only shut down Safari, I closed all applications and shut down the Mac completely being sure to uncheck the "relaunch with windows open" button. When I turned the Mac back on, I opened Safari and went to an online PDF that I had been trying to open previously to test the app. It opened this PDF using Preview and showed it in Safari.
I then tested using a PDF from my files and it opened in Preview.
Quit Safari.
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type of copy / paste: /Library/Internet Plug-Ins
Click Go then move the Adobe PDF Browser plugin from the Internet Plug-Ins folder to the Trash.
Relaunch Safari to test.

The same sql in a regular report works properly and creates the check box.
Is there something else required for a check box in an interactive report ?

Go to Report Attributes and change the display type to "Standard Report Column" (instead of "Display as Text, escape special characters")
Go to Column Attributes for that column and change the List Of Values to None and uncheck all the column's interactive features (sort, aggregate, compute, etc)

4. But the problem is i wil be knowing weather it is a stategric or Non stategirc based on the database column.

Default remote key check box

Hi ,
Does anyone know the significance of defalut remote key mapping check box that appears during Edit Key mapping ?

Default remote key check box is used to select 1 record among multiple merged records from same remote system.
if you get 2 or more duplicate records from 1 source systems, then only 1 record out of them can have default remote key check box.
an MDM object may map to multiple keys from the same remote system. When an MDM object maps to multiple keys, one of the keys is marked as the default key. The default keys the one that is used when syndicating a reference to the mapped MDM object.
For example, for a particular remote system, the two color objects Light Red and Dark Red both map to the MDM object Red. An MDM product object Shirt has a Color attribute set to Red. When this Shirt object is syndicated back to the remote system, the default key is used to choose the value to syndicate from the two objects Light Red and Dark Red.
