Templates not downloaded anymore after V7.0 SP4 migration

After migrating from V7.0 SP3 to SP4, templates are not downloaded on the client machine anymore as dimensions are correctly upgraded on the client machine.
We tried :
- upgrading template version on admin
- delete local information on the client side
- controled that system files are correctly generated using the new method implementend on SP4 version : ie : TEMPLATESCGEFR~545.ZIP. All applications are correctly generated on the server (system files) with the correct version number.
But the local folder "eexcel" on all the application on all the appset stay empty.
We tried on different computers with different users and different appset.
If we use an external client machine (I mean not in the standard policy configuration used by the company), local folders are correctly updated ?...
So it looks like a client parameter which is not compatible anymore with SP4.
We experience this problem even if the user is admin on his client machine.
Does anyone experienced a similar problem too ?

I would advise opening an issue ticket with the Support team to report the inconsistency.  However, in the meantime, I would try to completely uninstall all clients on your companies "regulated" machine; then choose to install just the excel components and see if the process is better or the same.  If its the same, just log all the steps to pass to support.  Becuase the next tests would involve removing registry keys and settings, during the uninstall portion of the client.
You will also need to find out if your company policies have changed any settings that will no longer allow passage of data to a client.  Plus, you need to determine if anyone has reset or changed the PATH location of the downloaded files.  This is available in application parameters and in the client etools settings and may be the issue.

    Quit Elements.

Nvidia and Intel display drivers are in place, and I also checked the BIOS settings, but to no avail. It appears that the DVI port is no longer recognised by the system at all.

    first: I use CR. 10.2.3600.0 and Asp.NET with Visual Studio 2005
    I developed my reports against a Develepment-Database and everything worked fine.
    Then, I published my Website with the reports.
    Also I made a backup of my Develepment-Database to become the Productive-Database.
    All pages of my website function well (database-queries etc.), but when I try to call one of my reports a queerish error message occurs:
    "This field name is not known. Error in File C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\...\{...}.rpt: Error in formula. '{xyz.ds_id} = {?@ds_id} and '."
    I mean, the database is the "same" as before?!?
    (BTW: the logon to the database is set at runtime and is ok.)
    Why do the reports not function anymore?
    The only workaround I found is to open the report in Visual Studio 2005 again and select  "Crystal Reports/Databases/Check Database" against the Productive-Database.
    After that the report works! BUT THIS COULD NOT BE THE SOLUTION, this means that I cannot publish my website to a different database on a customers network!!!

    I tried this:

    I debugged the code and recognized that the error appears while setting the .Location property...?!?
    My DatabaseName is "Rezepturverwaltung".
    Example 1 with a command:
    Befor setting the Location of mytable the value of the prpperty is e.g. "command".
    After setting the value like in code above the value changes to "Rezepturverwaltung.dbo.command"
    Example 2 with a stored procedure:
    Befor setting the Location of mytable the value of the prpperty is e.g. "sp_GetData".
    After setting the value like in code above the value changes to "Rezepturverwaltung.dbo.sp_GetData"
    What`s going wrong furthermore???

    I upgraded itunes to the current version and after that itunes does not start anymore. I scanned for virus with an up-to-date scanner, scanned for adware with Windows defender and ewido and used the tips from http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=42963
    I run itunes on Windows Server 2003 which worked fine for three years. I know it is officially supported on XP only.
    I deinstalled itunes and reinstalled afterwards no change. The windows event log shows some erors
    Faulting application iTunes.exe, version 6.0.5.20, faulting module shell32.dll, version 6.0.3790.2662, fault address 0x0015af84.
    Any other idea?

    ok, so I am not sure if this is legal or not, but there is a site called oldversion. Go there, and you can get past versions of applications such as aim , and in this case, itunes. just uninstall your other itunes first.
    Sometimes different versions of appications run better on different computers. this new itunes probably just has something the last one didnt that cant run with what you have on your computer

    Turn off iCloud for Pages on your mobile device at Settings > Pages > Use iCloud > Off.
    Open Pages on your computer and move any documents in iCloud to your desktop for safe keeping.
    Navigate to system preferences > iCloud > Manage and check that Pages documents are not taking any space in the cloud, delete them if they are.
    Enable iCloud syncing for Pages on your mobile device and launch the App.
    If Pages now opens properly, start to add back documents from your desktop one at a time (or in small groups if you have many).

    Up to last saturday I used APEX 2.0 on my 9i database (on Windows XP) without problems. I have several applications running and used them saturday for the last time.
    Saturday I installed Oracle 10G Enterprise Edition on that same machine. I installed ONLY the software for the RDBMS, not even APEX. Later on I created my first 10g database via DBCA. Notice that I didn't do anything with APEX on that 10g database yet. I only installed the RDBMS software in a 10g home directory and created a database. That's all. No apex installed, nothing from the companion CD, only the RDBMS software in its own home.
    Yesterday however, after a reboot of the machine, I could not use my applications running on the 9i database anymore: "the page cannot be found".
    HELP!!!
    What was changed by the installation of 10g that now causes that my applications cannot be accessed anymore? The 9i database runs OK, so that's not the problem.
    I did already change the PATH settings, so that the 9i paths are checked before the 10.2 paths, but that did not solve the problem.
    Has the installation changed something in the registry of XP perhaps?

    Hi all, in answer to the above suggestions:
    No the 10g database and listener is completely down (no services belonging to the new 10g database are running). I checked also alle the logs, but no messages anymore since saturday.
    What I did notice: Oracle92HTTPserver (a service normally started automatically) does not start. When I start it, it gives me a message that there is nothing to do and that the service therefore is not started. So the HTTP-server itself is not working anymore. I can't find any files changed by th installation in the Ora92 home Apache directories. All seems as it was before the installation And still it won't start....
    Does anybody have other suggestions? Please help.

  • Updates not downloading properly after installing Mavericks

    I downloaded and installed Mavericks without any problems on Monday, however all subsequent updates (for pages, itunes, keynotes, HP printer etc) are not downloading properly. The updates will start downloading from the App store but after downloading about 10M the update will finish downloading and "install". However when I check the respective programs it's clear the program has not updated properly and when I restart the App store the update once again appears in the avaliable updates panel. If I continue to update via the App store, by restarting everytime the update "installs", I can complete the update... which is a complete pain in the a**.
    Has anyone else had the same problem?
