Receiver Determination Step For Synchrnous Send in BPM
Hi,
How to use BPM Receiver Determination step for a synchronous send step?
My scenario is to send a request to multiple receivers synchronously and get the response. How can i achieve this using Receiver Determination step in BPM.
Regards
DiviaHi Sreedivia,
As far as use of synchronous message is concern with receiver determination step, it wont allow you to use Abstract Synchronous message interface in it.
Even you cannot give multiple receivers without specifying any condition while creating Receiver determination in integration directory.

Now again in NACE slect MR and click on condition records and maintain condition record for INVS wrt co code
Now in Tcode M808 maintain INVS in the schema MR0002

Different No Range for invoice document no(MIRO) - company code wise.
Dear All,
Hi.
at present we have just one company code in the server.
now we are getting second company code in the same server, for this new coopany code. business needs seperate no range for invoice document no (MIRO)
so please guide me how i can configure in the system
Thanks
h shahHi,
However, after testing in SAP internal system, I am afraid that your
request is not possible.
From the sap-Documentation ("Maintain Number Assignments for Accounting Documents") :
"Because document number assignment in Materials Management is not
company code-specific...... "

Account determination error in Invoice document posting
Problem - When generating the invoice document to customer, an error is displayed - Document is saved (Account determination error). As a consequence of this step, the invoicing is not able to create FI document
My Analysis-
Account determination is done in G/L account assignment (VKOA screen)
For my billing document, the system is not able to find the GL account (below are screenshots)
In VKOA screen, I already defined the GL account determination using KOFI procedure.
I initially defined in table 2 Cust.Grp/Account Key and it didnt work.
So I defined in both the tables 1 as well - Cust.Grp/MaterialGrp/AcctKey
But still system is not reading the tables and obtaining the GL account no
Any advice on why its not working?Hi Nikhil,
As per the screen shots i could observe that you didn't maintained acct asst grp of customer.
check the acct asst grp of customer field in billing tab is maintained or not.
other possible reason may be in your pricing procedure -check whether the accounting keys are maintained or not.
This could solve your issue. -

"Partner Determination Steps for Customer Master" clarification
Hi,
Let me clear myself at the outset itself, that I searched SDN for my below mentioned query, however I could not find any answer to my satisfaction....here I am posting again
In "Partner Determination for Customer Master", the following steps are undertaken -
Step 1:
1.a.) Create New Partner Determination Procedure
1.b.) For each Partner Determination Procedure, different Partner Functions, which are applicable for that specific determination procedure, are assigned. (along with other properties like if the PF is mandatory, not modifiable )
Step2:
"Partner Determination Procedure Assignment", here we assign different Partner Determination Procedure to different Account Groups. In other words, indirectly, we assign the partner functions to account groups. Right? (Please correct me if I am wrong)
Step3:
"Partner Function". Here we define new partner functions, (which are used in Step 1...)
Step4:
"Account Group- Function Assignment" - Here we assign the Partner Functions to Account Groups
Now My Question
(A) Since the Partner Functions are assigned (via partner determination procedure) to account groups in Step 1, then why Partner Functions are assigned AGAIN to account groups in Step 4. What is the significance of this assignment in Step 4.
(B) Is there is particular sequence of Steps (1 to 5), one should follow when somebody has to create new customer account group and/or new partner function.
Thanking you all in advance.Dear SR
Leave SAP Partner Determination screen for 2 minutes and first understand the logic
1. Create the new partner functions
2. Create the new determination procedure
3. Link the new partner functions to the new determination procedure and add mandatory, non modifiable ,optional creteria
4. Assign the new determination procedure to the document type or account group at appropriate level
This is essence and this is for all 8 levels like CMR,sales doc header, item etc
Now coming to your qn
When you define a new account group ( you might be aware account group controls partner functions of CMR) you will say that your new account group will carry out patner functions like SP,SH,BP,PY
That is ACCOUNT GROUPS function assignment
Whenever you create a new account group you will do field selection in OBD2 like suppress optional.reqd etc, create no ranges and assign no ranges and also mainly this activity partner determination
These are must settings for a new account group
AG is the german key for sold to party Partner determination procedure
This is step 1
Then in next step you will tell AG will carry out such and such partner functions Step 2 like mandatory not modifiable etc
Step 3 is link the AG to your account group
Step 4 is partner functions say if you want to create a new partner function say SB special stock partner
(in concept this is the firststep)
Step 5 is once again partner function account group assignment
So when you create a new partner function you will do step 4 first and step 5 and then 1 and 2 and 3
when you create a new account group you will do step 5 and then 1 and 2 and 3
Hope you understand now
Partner functions are relatives in your family
Say in a family we have Father ,mother sister, brother (these 4 partner functions)
This is called as Happy Family and this Happy Family is the Partner determination procedure in SAP
This Happy Family is linked to the account group
So Happy family means there are 4 partner functions
So whenever you create a CMR in the account group this father.mother, brother, sister will come as default
Suppose you add another partner function say Uncle
First you have to create uncle
Then you have to tell this account group will accept uncle
Then link the uncle in the happy family that is determination procedure of SAP along with the 4
Then assign happy family to the account group
Now when you create a CMR along with father.mother, brother, sister along with that uncle will also come

Receiver Determination steps for BPM scenario
Hi Experts,
Scenario : SOAP -> Calling different webservices
1. SOAP Client Request
2. Call the Initial webserive to get the unique Id. No need to pass any request to call this webservice, but it will give the response.
3. Take the Initial websrevice's response as a request to second webservice
4. Pass the SOAP client request to Third webservice
BPM steps
1. Receive Step for SOAP Request
2. Send Step for the Initial webservice call.
3. Transformation step Initial webservice response to request change.
4. Send Step for Second webservice (Pass the the Transformation step's target interface as a request)
5. Send Step for Third webservice ( Pass SOAP client request)
I am done with the BPM flow. Could you please help to do the Receiver Determination steps.
Usually I follow the below steps.
1. Sender Service to BPM
2. BPM to other services. I have a doubt with the second step. I am not passing the SOAP client request to Initial webservice. So, please tell me how to proceed further for the BPM Receiver Determination steps..
Thanks & Regards
SaraHey,
First, what is th purpose of your SOAP client request.
Is it just to trigger the BPM.
Second on what basis are you fetching the unique Id from initial web service.
If it is a normal scenario then, the reciever determination will be like this.
Soap client-> BPM
BPM->initial webservice
BPM->second webservice
BPM->third webservice
but in this particular scenario i dont know which data is being used to fetch the unique Id.

Customisation steps for archiving document mgmt. system
Hi,
Please suggest the customisation required for the document management system. The object name for the doc is CV_DVS.
What are the steps necessary to archive this document.
Thanks & best regards,
Goraksh Dhikale.hi,
To call the archiving functions for document info records from the standard R/3 menu, choose
Logistics _ Central functions _ Document management _ Environment _ Archiving.
You can set a deletion flag for document info records that you no longer require for managing
documents and their original application files. Archiving object CV_DVS enables you to archive
these document info records. After the archiving run, you can delete the archived document info
records.
The document info records that you archive and delete with archiving object CV_DVS are
identified by the following data:
Document,Document type,Document part, Version
When you use archiving object CV_DVS, you archive data from the following tables:
Table Description
DRAD Link between document and object
DRAO Originals for document
DRAOZ Additional files for original for document
DRAP Document log file
DRAT Document descriptions
DRAW Document info record
DRAZ Table for additional files for original
The following table shows the functions that you can use for archiving object CV_DVS.
Function Report Program
Archive DVSARCH1
Delete DVSARCH2
Manage DVSARCH3

Need an IDOC EDI STEPS for material document(MB03)
HI ALL,
i need an IDOC for material document. For example, user in SAP make material document (t-code MIGO or MB11), then automatical is downloading outbound IDOC, which contain information about material document.HOW TO PROCESS IT THROUGH EDI .GIVE THE STEPS.like below you can do your settings
The EDI Configuration required to be done for Transfering IDoc to non SAP System is.
1. First of all, we need to identify the Transaction Data which is required to be Transfered to external System.(Ex: Sales Order Data or Shipment Data or Delivery Related Data).
2. Secondly, Identify the IDoc Type & Message Type. IDoc Type can be found in Transaction WE30 & Message Type Can be explored in Transaction WE81.
3. After that, assign the IDoc Type to Message Type in WE82.
4. Identify the Selection Program (Outbound) which is generally a Function Module in the Form of IDOC_OUTPUT_<Message Type>. Example, if the Message Type is ORDERS, the FM will be IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDERS.
5. Assign the Function Module to a Process Code in WE41 (Process Code for Outbound).
6. Configure Port Definitions in WE21 for which the RFC destinations are to be maintained in Transaction SM59.
7. Maintain Partner Profiles for the Outbound Message Processing in WE20.
8. Last, but not the Least, we need to Focus Mainly on Message Control Configuration which is nothing but maintaining the Output Type for the Outbound IDoc to be Triggered for the Sales Order Application or Delivery Application.
i. In Message Control Configuration, we'll maintain
a. Condition Tables
b. Access Sequences
c. Output Types
ii. To Create the above elements, we can go to SPRO Transaction and do the same depending on the Application Area such as Sales / Shipping / Logistics Execution etc.
iii. For Output Types & Access Sequences, we can go to the Transaction NACE or VK01 in which we'll maintain the Output Types / Access Sequences & Condition Records.
Please note that all the above steps may not be needed if we are using some of the Standard Elements provided by SAP such as Message Type, Process Code, IDoc Type & Selection Program as many of the Standard SAP Applications have their own Elements for different Application Areas.
For example, if you want to send an Order Confirmation IDoc when the Sales Order is saved, you can use the Message Type ORDRSP, IDoc Type ORDERS05 & Selection Program as IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDRSP.
However, Message Control Configuration is the Key Factor and is required for all the Applications as per the Customer's / Client's Requirements. -
Text extraction script for pdf documents
Hello Everyone,
As everyone in the U.S. knows Tax Season has begun. I am looking to the Apple Community for help with a script that will help me mitigate the daunting task of manually extracting data from my bank statements to put into my expense tracking software. The software that I am using at the moment is "Neat Receipts" which will only inport ."pdf" and image files. I have very limited scripting knowledge at this point, however, I have begun the process of learning the craft. With deadines steadily approaching I have put off the task of manually combing through hundreds of pages of docs in search of a more eficient way of accomplishing this task. Therefore, I have turned to the Apple Community for help for myself and possibly millions of others with the same issue.
Thus far, I have downloaded all of my bank statements for the last year and have organized them into a folder on my desktop. Each file is labled by a specific name, such a "TD Bank Statement - Jan 2012.pdf". I would like to go about extracting the data from the pdf in a way as to be able to reimport it back to a seperate pdf file under a new name. First, I would like to select the folder containing all the bank statements. Second, I would like to retrieve the "Transaction Date", "Vendor", and "Transaction Amount" from all the stements. Third, I would like to combine the, Date", "Vendor", and "Transaction Amount" and place it into a new "pdf" file. Last, I would like to name the new file with the date of the transaction followed by the vendor, a delimiter, and then the file name from which the transaction originated fileNext export a single trasnaction to a new pdf, and give the file the name of its "transaction date.
Here is a sample of the data I am looking to capture:
Sample Data would look like this:
12/6/13, WAL WAL MART SUPER, $25.37
Sample file output would look like this:
12/6/13, WAL WAL MART SUPER - TD Bank Statement - Jan 2012.PDF
I am actively working on this, as I type this, to test my knowledge and ability to solve this problem myself. I would like some feedback, input, and help with this
First, I believe the script should first perform an OCR of the "pdf file
Second, variables should be set to tell the script what to look for (Date), (transaction Amount), and all lines proceeding until it hits another (date)
Third, group all lines and insert (delimiter) in place of hard returns and tabs
Fourth, export grouped data into (new pdf) fie
Fifth, rename the (new pdf) file with (Transaction date) followed by (delimiter) followed by original file nameAcrobat can only work with what is present in the file. For instance,
in some cases there is just a scan, a picture, and no text can be
extracted.
Sometimes letters are doubled up when the document's creator used
"fake bold", where letters are printed twice to make an illusion of
bold text.
