Text in differnt languages!

I am making a webpage entirely in spanish and spell check highlights everything as incorrectly spelt. Will the highlights show when I publish? Is there a way to change the language in iweb?

No it won't show online. But here are couple tips for writing in spanish or another non English language.
1. If you go to System Preference app and then to International tab you can drag any language to the top of the list. After doing this open iWeb and all the menus, symbols, like "subscribe" will be in spanish or the language of your choice.
2. If you are working in iWeb you can press: "Command" (apple) + ":" keys and then it will display a menu with different languages. This works for chanching the spelling check to another language.
3.If the highlights are bothering you, just go to Edit menu in iWeb and then to Spelling opt and in this one you'll see a tick in "Check Spelling as you Type". Just clic again and you won't see the highlights anymore.

In the message class corresponding to that message give the place holders &&&&.
Like 001 &&&&
in the program.
Message <class>001 with text-001 text-002 text-003 text-004.
then you could disply long text.translation takes place if u enter in different language automatically.

Texts in other languages

Hello,
           We have a report which should be shown in Italy language.How can we achieve this in BW?
As far as I know, In order to support multiple languages, the following is must:
1>    The language specific descriptions must be maintained in R/3 / Source Systems.
2>    Install Language packages as required in BW
3>    In the design of Infoobject we need to select the option u201C Texts Language Dependentu201D
4>    Load the texts in to BW.
But, the problem is the texts are not maintained in Italy language in R/3. As we have same materials which are used in other countries, I don't think they will maintain texts in multiple languages. There are in English now.
Questions:
1>What are the steps we need to do in BW if at all texts are maintained in Italy in R/3. Do we need to install any language packs and can we load these texts via BODI--we use bodi and do not extract anything from R/3 directly.
2>Is there any option in BW or WEB to convert the English language in to Italy, even if texts are not maintained in R/3?

And if the text is maitained in the Italy in R/3 then the best option is that u simply load the text from R/3 with language key. - That is simply far most better and easiest way out.

Print PO item text in different language

Hi,
We have a global vendor whose communication language is maintained as PL in vendor master while our logon language is EN. The text therefore is maintained in PL language. It seems the output program only picks the text in logon language (EN) and so the PL text is ignored. Current the solution we can find is either ask user to logon with PL language when he needs to print the PO, or manually input EN as communication language when creating a PO. But I hope to find a better solution. I tried changing the the message output to be PL but doesn't help. Any idea?

Thanks DEV, to clarify, for this particular PO with PL vendor, only item text in PL language is maintained. It doesn't seem like SD, we can manually choose language and maintain texts in different language (I think I saw some notes saying this - one PO one language of text only).
Also both from other threads I saw and my test proves via maintaining communication condition record with other language doesn't work.
However from you second thread, I am curious about this saying :
If you want to print the PO in different language.
Then in Message determination IMG settings or NACE.
You can modify the output type NEU
here change the language from EN to your relevant language as per SAP.
If you want the both EN other language then copy the std NEU & create as per your requirement & mention the language in that new out put type.

Maintain Text in Different Language

Hi PS Expert,
I have query for maintaining text in multiple language, let me elaborate my query..
I created std project having all WBS element & maintain WBS Text ( description) in English lanuage.Now my client prefers that if a person in other country log into SAP in German language then he should see all description in German language.
I have one solution that log into SAP in German Language & maintain all text again in German language. This will be just repeatition of the work what I did in English language.Client wants to maintain all text in 6 language & I have to repeat the same work 6 times.
If you have come across such issue , please tell me about your solution.

Activate business function OPS_PS_CL1
Multi language support has to be activated fro the Object ML(IMG-->Project system-->activate multi language support)
when you create a new PS object , a new tab short text appears, in which you can maintain different language keys and description
so when ever user logs in different language then the description of PS object will appear in that language if it is maintained in short text tab

Custom infotype text in various languages

Hi All,
How can we maintain the Custom Infotype text in different language in table T582S.
When I tried using view V_T582S, by default it is giving entries in only logon language.
Is there any other way to convert the text of custom infotypes to some other languages.

Problems exporting text in Indian languages

I tried exporting text in Indian languages to XML format, the resulting XML had '?' characters. The following code was used
var exporter:ITextExporter = TextConverter.getExporter(TextConverter.TEXT_LAYOUT_FORMAT);
var xmlExport:XML = exporter.export(_textFlow, ConversionType.XML_TYPE) as XML;
NOTE: The text was rendered as expected. Only the exported XML contained '?' characters.
Is there anyway to export these (see below) unicode characters to an XML without loosing the actual values.
Eg: ' हम कहाँ है?'

How did you save the XML? Trace into the Flex console doesn't seem to support unicode.

Contain the TextLayoutEditor example that shows exporting displaying the markup with unicode and saving it to a file. Look for FileIOHelper.as.

Urgent: want function module to translate text into russian language

Hello All,
My requirement is that, field is fetched from std. table. This fiels of data type string, i.e., it contains text. I want to translate this text into russian language before displaying this in output. For otr text, i used se63 to translate. But, this text is not otr, it is dynamically fetched from diff. std. tables. So, se63 is not working here.
Please help me as its very urgent.

I don't know if there's an unique solution, you should try to open an OSS message
All tables with description should have the language (usually field SPRAS) as key fields
so u can try to read a record and create a new one but with the new language:
select * from makt where spras = 'ZH'.
   makt-spras = 'E'.
   makt-maktx = ......
   insert makt.
endselect.
But it's better to analize the risk

To Display in Different Languages:
Smartforms:
In the Smartform you create:
In General Attributes, in Translate, select the radiobutton 'Into Selected Languages' and specify the lang for which you want the translation to be available.
To translate:
Go to SE63.
In menu, Translation -> ABAP Objects -> Other Long Texts.
In the Object Type Selection window that appears, expand FS ( Forms and Styles) and choose SSF (SAP SmartForms)
Specify your form name in Object Name and select the source and target lang and click on Edit button.
In the editor screen specify translated text in the lower half.
After you are done, click on Save Active button.
To view your form in the translated language, specify that language when you login.
SAPscripts:
Goto SE76.
Specify the script name, source and target language. Click on Create/Change button.
Specify all the translations. Click on release.
It will prompt you to translate window contents.
Double click on the window and translate the contents. When you are done, the Translation Status will become COMPLETED. Click on Release again.
(You can edit and check too)
Now when you preview by choosing the desired language, the translated script is displayed.

Maitain text in diff languages

i want to maintain the user given text into diff languages in database table. ( like FR, IT, ES, DE, NL, PT) and also maintain the EN language in another database table. This is the my requirement ( this is not depends on the user log on language) e.g.: user log on in DE , he entered in Jarman text that time also i want to maintain the corresponding EN text in one database table and maintain other languages in to another table.
plz give me the right suggestion for this req.

Replacing form and dialog text to foreign language

I'm trying to translate some english text to foreign language, but I just cant get it to work in webforms and popup dialog boxes. It works fine with text that I have typed on the page, but the system-generated text just stay's unchanged

Would like the text "Not set" in event bookings (when capacity is not defined) to say "Ikki ásett" ... but it just does'nt work .. And dialog pop-ups like "Please enter ..." to be translated to "Vinarliga útfyll"

what do you mean by convert? if you really mean translate then no. there are no good tools in existence anywhere for computer translation from one language into another. that's very hard. there are some online tools like this one http://translate.google.com/# but they do poor job of actual translation if you need to translate actual text and not single words as anybody who used them can testify.

Every time that we have to create something..like master data or any customizing object..in different languages..we have to log in to the system multiple no. of times to maintan text in different languages. Is there any way that in one login only we maintain different texts.
If we go to customizing, maintain functional area...go to utilities...> choose language.. what is its function?

This helps you maintain the text in different languages in configuration nodes by logging on in English for example you have to implement for China/France/Spain/Germany you can select the languages and you can maintain all the languages at the same time without having to logon in different languages. Not all the configuration nodes support this functionality for example FTXP the tax code maintainence.

I got the solution. In the Acc Assnt Screen, choose"Goto"-- Translations. Here we can maintain the text in different languages.
