Hi,
Please use any one of the below user exit to influence the text determination in sales order. Later you can transfer the text to billing document using std text determination.
USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_TVCOM_H for header text and USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_TVCOM_I for item texts.

I am hoping that someone can help me out with this issue. Basically I want the extra space in each row or the tabel to be gone. I cant seem to sort out how.
Any ideas?

He focuses on capturing intimate portraits of birds in their natural surroundings. Glenn strives for what he calls “clean” images – where the subject is clear, distracting elements are kept to a minimum and the background is pleasingly blurred out of focus. Glenn’s work has been published widely throughout North America in books and magazines (such as Birder’s World, Birding & Bird Watchers Digest). His most recent book is entitled – “Birds in Ecuador: A Photographic Journey.” Glenn loves to share his passion for photography and for the natural world with those who attend his photographic workshops and with participants of www.naturescapes.net where he is a moderator in the Birds forum.</p>

been enchanted by nature, birds and wildlife for as long as I can remember.
Growing up in Toronto, Canada I can recall countless hours spent
glued to National Geographic magazines, natural history books or watching

I took any opportunity I had to study and learn about animals of all
kinds. Nowadays
I often find myself up at the crack of dawn, knee-deep in mud or covered
in mosquitoes all in pursuit of capturing just a glimpse of natures
beauty. Although I enjoy photographing all of mother natures fascinating
creatures. I tend to focus on birds. Why birds? I think it's because
there are so many species of birds, they can be found almost anywhere, they are
challenging to photograph and they are beautiful to watch. I love birds!</p>

With Best Regards,
SDN user.Hi,
You canr use text modules in script. You have to use standard texts .
Standard text are maintained in SO10 transaction.
you can create translation text for other languages also . So based on logon language it will print translation text.
go to SO10
give textname it say Ztextname id as ST and language as EN
say create, then you will get editor there maintain your text and save it . then come back . Now change language (say for german DE) say create and eneter translation text and save it.
so now you have created a text called ztextname which you can use in your script.
Inorder to insert the texts in your script do as below
go to any window editor and select path
Insert->texts->symbols->standard symbols
then you will get popup in which you have to mention all the parameters that you have created earlier.
after inserting just change language EN to sy-langu
Reward points if useful

When you say center what exactly do you mean, horizontally or vertically centered?
If I test your code in IE6, IE7, IE8 and Firefox the text appears horizontally centered??????

Extract Text Types from CRM Service Order
Hello Experts,
I have a requirement where we need to extract the Text Types and texts from a the Item Details of a CRM Service Order.
I know it's not ideal to have large strings of text in BW but it is needed by the business.
Can anyone point me to the table that contains the Text Types and associated texts?
When I F1 on the field, nothing happens.
Thanks in advance.This can be done through action profile.

How to check a text type if it is filled or not for specific user status
Hello;
I want to check if a text type in a notification is filled or not for a specific user status. I guess that can be done using the BADI "ORDER_SAVE", but not sure how to do that.
Regards,
Erkan KayaHello Erkan.
You can use the function module CRM_ORDER_READ_OW in method check_before_save of BADI ORDER_SAVE.
Fill the header_guid of the notification into the it_header_guid table parameter and get the returning table ET_TEXT.
For performance reason you should provide importing parameter it_requested_objects.
INCLUDE CRM_DIRECT.
APPEND gc_object_name-texts TO it_required_objects.
Then you can check in et_Text if the required text is maintained. If not, you can raise the exception DO_NOT_SAVE in the BADI.

Timo. -
PO Version Mgmt Control by Text Type
Hi -
We currently have Version Management active for Purchase Order for when 'Item Text' is changed/updated on the purchase order, yet Version Management does not invoke for other purchase order item/header texts changes.
Does anyone know where in configuration this control is set for purchase order text types?
Thanks,
KarenHello,
Please check the following configuration
Purchasing-> Messages -> Fields Relevant to Printouts of Changes
System takes fields of tables EKKO, EKPO, EKET and ADRC into account.
Please check note 664928 : FAQ Version Management
Hope this solves.

NagarajuHi raj,
U can configure Text Determination in T.code: <b>VOTXN</b>
it follows the condition technique
1. Define Condition Table
2. Define Access Sequence
3. Define Text Types
4. Define Text procedure
5. Activate to sales document types
there u can achieve ur purpose.
Reward if it helps.

Text type 'HTML' for the Channel 'Mail (Letter)'
Dear Experts,
I'm unable to use the text type 'HTML' for the Channel 'Mail (Letter)' in mail forms, as a result of which fonts like arial and images like jpeg could not be used in mail forms created for letters.
Is there a way to use HTML type or to have more font options, insert JPEG images, tables etc in mail forms for letters?
Regards,
KathirIn case, if you are using custom excel export functionality, you should use fileDownloadActionListener with in a button.
Here, you could specify the content type.
<af:commandButton text="Say Hello">
<af:fileDownloadActionListener filename="hello_txt"
contentType="text/plain; charset=utf-8"
method="#{bean.sayHello}"/>

Outbound Delivery - Header (Text field - Table Name)
Hi All,
In outbound delivery header - Texts tab i notice that we can maintain some texts. May i know which table i should refer to read the text entered.
I can read the text type key from the table TTXTD, but i need to read the actual text entered by the user.
Hope my question is clear, await your inputs.
Regards,
VivekHI,
SAP has already provided a various functions for read the text element. So you no need to get the value from table directly!
There is some example
CALL FUNCTION 'READ_TEXT'
EXPORTING
CLIENT = SY-MANDT
ID = T_TEXT_ID
LANGUAGE = 'E'
NAME = T_UNIQUE_ID
OBJECT = T_TXTOBJ
IMPORTING
HEADER = HTEXT
TABLES
LINES = T_READ_LINE
EXCEPTIONS
ID = 1
LANGUAGE = 2
NAME = 3
NOT_FOUND = 4
OBJECT = 5
REFERENCE_CHECK = 6
WRONG_ACCESS_TO_ARCHIVE = 7
OTHERS = 8.
Let me explains as below parameters.
T_TEXT_ID - Text id: example - '08000123', also is the document no.
T_UNIQUE_ID - Text unique ID: example - 'ZD01'
T_TXTOBJ - Text Object: example - VBBK
That information can find it on relevant of document. In your case, you can fount it on the below path:
VF01n/VF02n > GoTo -> Header -> Text -> detail (is the push small button, then it will go to the next screen) -> Goto -> Header.
Return Value tales - THEXT and Table Line - T_Read_line
You must declare this variable before,
DATA: BEGIN OF HTEXT OCCURS 50.
INCLUDE STRUCTURE THEAD.
DATA END OF HTEXT.
DATA: BEGIN OF T_READ_LINE OCCURS 50.
INCLUDE STRUCTURE TLINE.
DATA: END OF T_READ_LINE.
READ TABLE T_READ_LINE INDEX 1. "read the line value
I hope this can help, so remembers reward the points -
DW8 Recordset behavior returns empty TEXT type values
So I have DW8 generating a recordset (ASP/VBScript from SQL
Server) using
just the basic behavior. If I don't set any criteria and it
retrieves all
records, it shows all data for each record, including the
values contained
within the "Text" type field.
If I specify a unique identifier value (to retrieve only one
specific
record), the DW recordset shows all details EXCEPT the text
found in the
"text" type field. Doing a TEST of the recordset this way
shows "undefined"
in that field, and of course, on the page, its blank. I could
workaround
this by using a "varchar" type or some other, but I'm then
more limited on
amount of text alotted.
Anyone run into this before and have an idea on what I need
to do so that
the text blob is pulled into the unique recordset like it
does for all of
the other field types?Don't use SELECT *.
List the columns you're retrieving. Put all TEXT, NTEXT, and
IMAGE columns
at the end of your select list. If you have more than one,
list them from
left to right in the same order in which they're defined in
your table.
If you're using SQL Server 2005, use VARCHAR(MAX) instead of
TEXT.

TEXTS in Sales Order - Text types used or not ?
Hi experts,
We have 8 text types in sales orders line items. Some of them are used to enter text and some are not. Is there a table from where we can find out if for all orders any particular text type is used or not ?
In STXH and STXL, how can we find out if a particular order # has an entry of texts in it or not.
How can we get a text i.d. from the sales order. OR find a link between sales Order and tables STXH/STXL........ how can we search these tables ?
I really need some help on this mysterious Text storage strategy of SAP.
Thanks a LOT
RonYes I am aware of the fact that text is accessed thru read_text FM .....
My question is what parameters/ field values can we plug in STXH/STXL to get info that a particular "text" entry exists in this table. I have a sales order which has few texts, I want to know if they have an entry in STXH and STXL about their text i.d.s....
Let me put it this way - What ever entry exists in STXH for this sales Order I want to see that. What parameters of this sales order do I pass in this Table STXH to see that entry ??
I hope this is clear now -
Pages 5.1 truncates text in tables
Just discovered that Pages 5.1 truncates text in tables when exported to Pdf's even when created in Numbers and pasted. Superscripts were missing. Sometimes regular text after superscrips were missing. Too bad.
It's a bug. Until fixed, you'll have to avoid baseline shift or use an earlier version of Pages. Submit Feedback from the Pages menu to let Apple know you are finding this bug.
