Pay as you go, i put money on my phone as and when i need too, instead of paying a certain amount each month on a contract with a phone company, they do not have anything to do with my difficulties with text messaging on iphone.

Frequently I have the aarp game site open and Yahoo open. At times Mozilla crashes and will not send an error message, simply brings up the restore screen. It will not charge properly, it has to be in a exact position to charge and even then go's off and on. I thought this my be my charger but the charger works fine on another phone. it will not allow texts to come through properly and sometimes will not not let me ring people it just freezes and i have to turn it off and on a couple of times in order for it to work. it will not let me update apps and the silent button is not silent it still go's of on ringer.The keyboard will freeze up not allowing me to type anything. It wants me to pay £126.44 for it to be repaire when i have nothing to do with why its not working!

That is correct.

IPhoto 6.06 freezes and will not quit

iPhoto freezes and will not quit each time I open it. I recently upgraded to 6.06 but the problem remains. My photo library is just over 3GB.
What should I do?

Those gray squares with the "!" in the middle indicates that the library has lost the link to the original files. It can be caused by moving or renaming files/folder in the iPhoto Library folder via the Finder or an interruption of some sort while the Library6.iPhoto database file is being written to.
Since you've tried rebuilding the library without success you'll have to start over with a new library as follows:
Creating a new library while preserving the rolls from the original.
Move the existing library folder to the desktop.
Launch iPhoto and, when asked, select the option to create a new library.
Drag the Originals folder from the desktop into the open iPhoto window.
This will create a new library with the same rolls as the original library. However dates on the rolls may be different but can be edited as you would the roll title.
Once this is completed you can delete the Originals folder from the desktop and the iPhoto Llibrary folder. If desired, you can keep the older library folder to try other fixes on it.
In the future I recommend you make a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto file after each import and after doing a lot of editing and organizing in the library. Then if you experience a similar crash all you need to do is replace the damaged database file with the backup copy and you'll be back to the same place in the library as when you make the backup. See the tip at the end of my signature.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. At the same time my bookmarks folder will not open.

Which security software (firewall) do you have?
Did you check the Firefox rules and make sure that is doesn't block Firefox?
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

IPhone 4 freezes and will not restart or restore using iTunes.

iPhone 4 freezes and will not restart and cannot be restored using iTunes (unknown error 1602). My daughter's iPhone 4 did the same thing 10 days ago. Is this a software glitch? I replaced her phone, but I'm ready to switch to Android.

I am using Sophos Antivirus, but after disabling, still no luck. Tried the other USB port; no luck (same 1602 error). I'll take it to the Apple store tomorrow, but if they recommend replacing the phone I'm switching.
I went through this ~15 years ago when the Apple OS got so buggy and unstable that I had to abandon PowerBooks and switch to Windows. Oddly enough, this was after Jobs left the first time. I hope history isn't repeating itself.

Hmmm, I am not sure if there is another way. Since the battery is not removable for users and the 8 second -3 buzzes press don't work, I don't think there are another way to get it off.
Try connect the charger to it and do the 8 second press again, if not I think you will have to either let the battery run out untill it turns off it self or take it to a Nokia care point.

Some ISPs don't really handle you mail, they pass it off to another pipeline. That is called relaying. Some receiving servers will not accept relayed messages, as they are frequently associated with spammers.
In some cases, I understand aol relays within thier own system, confusing the issue a little.
Who is you mail provider? If it is a big name, this should not be an issue. As a test, if you have an alternate e mail account, like gmail, try to send a message from that account and see if it goes through.

I have tried both uninstalling the software and reinstalling it, I have tried to run the software in safemode, and I have tried to change the Quicktime settings to see if that helps.
Nothing has worked. It always does the same thing, where it freezes the moment I tell it to "play".
I have tried to use my other computer instead, going through the same process and I got the exact same result where it freezes.
Therefore it has to be something to do with the software, because the computers use different graphics cards, yet it responds the same.

Also, I suggest paying close attention to the list of programs that you would need to uninstall, in order, so that you can fully uninstall iTunes and all related components from your computer. If those programs and steps are not followed exactly, you may end up with issues using iTunes.

TS1307 cannot recognize mail password and will not send mail..iphone and web work mail no problem

mail will not send and continuously asks for password and rejects last documented password change. I cannot send mail only receive it on the MacBookPro BUT...I can get web mail and use send on iphone...mail cannot be recieved on iphone now.

Use the Apple Mail Connection Doctor (Apple Mail's Window menu > Connection Doctor) as a first step.
Also recognize that Apple Mail tends to (also) toss out the same password error dialog for errors other than password errors. This means that network errors and network configuration can be reported as password errors. (And folks that receive the password errors can then reasonably try different passwords, which means that the wrong password can (also) then get recorded in Keychain.)

HELP! product keeps freezing and will not w

I have had my 30 GB since March and have had no problems except for it freezing every once in a while and then I reset it with no problem. Since today, my device will not shut down properly or play any song at all. When it reset it, it turns on and I can scroll for a bit, but then as soon as I hit the button for it to do something it locks up again. I connected the usb port and it says the usb port has malfunctioned and does not recognize it. What do I do?
