The Cube with ID = Rate doesn't exist in the collection Error Message

When doing a Full Optimization in the Rate cube I get a "The Cube with ID = Rate doesn't exist in the collection" error message. What is causing this error and how do I fix it?

I have seen this error when reporting services was not properly configured. can you connect to http://servername/reports ?
If not try to fix reporting services first, this solved the problem for me in the past.
But usually in this case all the aplications are giving this error when modifying. Is this also the case in your appset?
Does Apshell work when you modify the application there?

I would suggest you the following steps in order to see if your problem is fixed or if you still have some errors:
1) full optimize your application
2) try to full process the OLAP database directly from the Analysis Services management console.

One thing I need to tell you is that, I have resore the current appset in another server. As informed by you I have run the Modify Applicaion . When I have run the same, System has generated another error named;

I uploaded rpt success, however, after I add IReportLogon to add user/password. I got an error.

when i moved crystal reprts from our Crystal server to the new BOBJ (BOExi3.1) Server and on DB configuration for all the reports i used the DB defaults that comes with the Report.
Problem when i try to run locally or run from the enterprise login it works perfect, but when i try to run the report from the Infoview it says Database Information is either Incorrect or Incomplete.
and also when i goto report and change the DB configuration it throws this error as
"The property with ID SI_DELTA_METAINFO does not exist in the object".
Please throw some light on the above error as i need to make it available for our end-users ASAP.

I looks like you have a configuration issue in BOE so I moved your post to the Admin forum.

We are accessing the BO reports through front End web application using WEBI. We are using BO Java SDK on the application for this purpose.
Some of our users (APAC region) has started getting the error while accessing the reports from web application. Here are the error:

what version of Enterprise is this? XI 3.1, Bi 4.0? Also what version pack are you running. I am asusming that APJ and EMEA\AMER users try to hit the same web\app server\ BOE, same application and access same reports. What kind of authentication you use? Given everything else is same it's got to be security issue? Does APJ users are part of a different group in your 3rd party auth server such as LDAP or AD?

After EFI firmware update the scrolling with two fingers doesn't work inside the browsers (both safari and chrome)

I've got a new MacBook Pro Retina from october 2013 13" (8 gb Ram and 256 gb SSD).
I had the "freezing" issue that was solved with the firmware EDI update.
But after this update i have now another problem: often during web browsing the scroll with 2 fingers up and down the page stops working (but the trackpad is ok for everything else and if i go in other programs the scroll works as usual). The only solution is to restart the browser but the problem happens again and again.
Both on Chrome and Safari. Especially on Safari everything freeze if i try to scroll on the right to go back to the previous page.
Does anybody else have this issue?

You are still under warranty. Call Apple Care. Make sure you get a case number as all repairs have an additional 90 days of warranty.

The Dimension with ID ... doesn't exist in the collection

BPC 7.5 SP3, MS SQL 2005
I am processing an applicaiton using the Admin console. Choosing "Modify Application", checking the "Process Application" checkbox and clicking "Modify Application" to rebuild the app. The result is successful completion with an error on the details portion of the display under "Modify Fact Table" that lists and exception in the Log. The log in the management console shows the error
Microsoft.AnalysisServices.ItemNotFoundException: The "Dimension" with "ID" = PROFITCENTER doesn't exist in the collection.
The ProfitCenter dimension is one of the application's dimensions.
I can process the ProfitCenter dimension and process this application as part of the dimension processing and it is successful.
I can optimize this application and it is successful.
The application appears to be working properly.
I can open the cube in SQL Server Analysis Services and I can see the ProfitCenter dimension and browse its members. I can open the application cube and browse it.
I checked the profitcenter dimension member table and compared it to the fact tables and all the facts are base level members that are not calculated members.
Has anyone seen this error? Is this just a spurious message I can ignore or is there something really wrong?

We were able to solve this issue today. We turned off Insight and reprocessed the application. The error did not appear. I hope this works for you too.

Transferring the Cube with activation of some Nav Attribute

Hi , In Production system, I have a sales multicube which has data coming in from sales overview and sales history cube. Data is loaded from mARCH 2006 to Till date every day in 2 basic cubes "sales overview" and "sales history"
Question 1:I need to now avtivate "ship to party - postal code" which is there in two basic cubes but not checked so I now select the check mark in nav attribute "ship to party - postal code" for both the cube in development system. and same in mULTICUBE should I Transport 2 basic Cubes, and Multicube and All effected Queries or just the query in which change is requested.
Question #2 : How to reload all the data which is right now there in Production, If I transport the cube with changes from DevLOPMENT to Production will the data be deleted in Production. All Data is feeding in Cube from ODS so Can I just Transport the cubes in Production and Use Update data to data target in ods. will the data be reloaded in cubes by doing that. Data loaded is delta so please let me know asap what will be best way to make the change and also save the data that is right now there in cubes in Production. since i have to transport it from dev no changes allowed in production.Hope you will reply back soon.     You need to transport the Sales Overview cube, Slaes History, Multicube cube and modified Queries.
    when ever you make changes like Making Navigational there is no need to delete the data. you just do one transport.

If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact Apple ID Support, upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
You will need to show patience with the procedure and be prepared to demonstrate without question that the account belongs to you. Don’t expect access to be restored immediately and if you aren’t the owner of the Apple ID registered to the device the account won’t be reset.

'ServerProperty' with 'Name' = 'Language' does not exist in the collection

One of my customers (using ssas 2012) is facing collation issues which result in missing facts in the cubes. I suggested them to have a look at the Analysis Server Properties. Howevere, on selection of the Analysis Services Properties page 'Language-Collation',
it doesn't open the page showing the properties, but instead the following message pops up:
'ServerProperty' with 'Name' = 'Language' does not exist in the collection
Any ideas on what could have caused this and how it can be fixed ?
We're considereing a restart of the SSAS server, but need to be very carefull because it's their production environment.

I am also experiencing this error when clicking on the Language/Collation page of the Analysis Services Properties dialog.
I suspect this is causing some other strange behavior such as an "invalid characters in hierarchy names" error when deploying an SSAS database, when the same solution/project can be deployed successfully from other machines. In that case, there are parenthesis
in the attribute name but no user-defined hierarchies. Error:
Errors in the metadata manager. The name, 'Project ID (Description)', for the cube hierarchy is not valid because this name is a reserved word, contains one or more invalid characters (.,;'`:/\*|?"&%$!+=()[]{}<>), or is longer than 100 characters.
I would like to avoid having to re-install SSAS if at all possible. Any help is much appreciated.

I am doing STO from Excisable depot to Excisable depot as
1. Create PO at Receiving Depot
2. Create Delivery through VL10B
3. Issuing Material through VL02N
4. Create Excise Invoice through J1IJ
5. Do Goods Receipt at receiving depot.----here I am unable to capture the invoice
I am getting error as" Excise invoice doesn't exist in the supplying plant. Message no. 4F281"
When i try to capture J1ig with supplying plant excise number , the excise value is not flowing and it is showing "0" duty values.
Any plant level setting is missing,
Searched in the forum but not got any solution..
Please let me know how to solve this issue.

Hence if playing around with drivers on this system I would use glxgears to check that 3D acceleration is working but not to benchmark. Glxinfo does not give you all this evidence.
But to clarify, I wouldn't use glxgears as a benchmark, benchmarking is different and I do a lot of that too.

Business System doesn't exist in the SLD

    Im trying to import XI content into the Integration directory. when i logged into Integration directory I clicked <i>Tools -> Import Configuration Objects</i>.
    Im getting a dialog window saying "Business System <Business system name> doesn't exist in the SLD.
   but when i gave t-code SLDCHECK in the PI system, i could see that business system as maintained in the SLD.
   also i could successfully import the XI content for Integration Repository.
   Any suggestion is highly appreciated

we have done a migration from AAIX to HPUX. I have performed some post installation steps as part of this.
   As partof this i have followed the post installation steps for PI usage type. I have changed some com.sap.aii parameters to reflect to the current target systems.
also *** a part of this i refreshed the CPAcache b giving the follwing URL http://<host>:<Java-Port>/CPACache/refresh?mode=full with login id as PIDIRUSER and password. but its gving something like below...
