The death of BT Anywhere?
With BT being unable to provide the software for VOIP on the current BT BBA mobiles, & with the removal of VOIP via a DECT connection on th new V3 home hub, I'm wondering if this is also the beginning of the end for BT BBA?
I've posted most of what I was told when I rang up for my MAC code here on the forums.

Perhaps the future is IP phones, where you keep the same phone number, no matter where you are.
With IPV6 just around the corner, there will be enough IP addresses to allow this. At present, this is only viable within corporate networks.
These phones would fit very well into BTs 21CN, which is IP based.

If your Mac is new-ish and has one of the Lions as its OS, the drives, cards, USB sticks no longer show up, even though they're there. Go to Finder's Preferences and tick the corresponding items in the General and Sidebar tabs.

When I take a picture or video with my ipad, the pictures are not shown in the camera roll or anywhere else I can find them. Can anyone help me?
When you take a photo there will be a small icon of the photo in the lower right corner. If you touch that it should take you to the photo in the camera roll.
If that isn't happening have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
No data will be lost. -

If the app requires a newer ios version then you have, then you cannot use that app. -

I just purchased harry potter and the deathly hallows digital copy but i just synced my ipod and its not there. i went back to get the copy again and its says the code can only be used once. I dont have the movie and now i cant get it at all. i paid for it when i bought the movie but now i dont own it at all. i feel cheated, somebody please help!

Any one else heard this rumor? I saw it on a news site earlier, but couldn't access the actual page because it tried to make my computer die...and MuggleNet is blocked at work...
Any information, thoughts about it , etc?
Don't take what I say as being absolute. There's always room for improvement.The Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision Blog is reporting that Warner Bros. will release both parts of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in 3D. The article reads:
"Early 3D-conversion tests on Warners' remake of 'Clash of the Titans' have gone so well that -- combined with boosted enthusiasm for 3D in the wake of the 'Avatar' tsunami -- the Burbank studio has decided to release not only 'Titans' but also the two-part 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' in 3D."
The cost of transferring each film to 3D will be roughly $5 million. The company will pay an additional $5 million per picture for 3D glasses to theaters handling the movies.
Please treat this all as a rumor until we receive confirmation from Warner Bros. -
I have just purchased a canon pima iX6550 . However I cannot locate the software or driver anywhere , including the installation disk . It keeps referring me to the manufacturer.
I believe the included disk had you go online to Canon and get updated drivers from there. This is important as the newest driver seems to have a fix for problems with the printer and OSX Lion.

It is no longer available for purchase on the iTunes store, yet there's a broken link to it and part 2 is available for preorder.

It is also available on Amazon as an instant download.I suspect you're right about licensing, because the same thing has happened with most of the earlier Harry Potter films. They appeared in the iTunes Store on or about the DVD release date, then disappeared until approximately the next movie's DVD release date. I'm sure Deathly Hallows 1 will reappear eventually.

AirPlay Mirroring requires an Early 2011 or newer MacBook Pro, and OS X Mountain Lion. If you have a compatible Mac, you have two possibilities:
1. Upgrade to OS X Mountain Lion. Open the App Store and purchase it. Make a backup of your data before upgrading and check that your apps are compatible > http://www.roaringapps.com
2. Use AirParrot to mirror the MacBook onto the Apple TV > http://www.airparrot.com
Both options will work. If your computer isn't supported, the only way to mirror the MacBook is by using AirParrot -

You may want to check to make sure the clip hasn't been moved back and forth between wide screen and standard aspect ratios; sometimes a combination of letterboxing and pillarboxing can lead to a black frame "windowbox" when playing the final video. You may find the following article helpful:

Items often go on and off sale in the Store, especially items (like Harry Potter movies) whose distribution is being closely managed by the label, in this case Warner Brothers.
It will probably come back on sale, but we don't know when. If you don't want to wait, you can buy it on DVD.
