The default server web site is associated with a security certificate. Is there any way to disable that?
I am using Server 4 on my iMac and I want to use my server to publish a non-secure web site. But no matter what I do I get a warning that "Safari can't identify the websites identity". There does not seem to be any way to disassociate the web site from the security certificate. Any suggestions?

If you are using the default website by default there is a redirect set for http to https.
Open Server and select websites, select the default website and press the pencil edit button, you'll have a redirects section, choose edit and clear the redirect.

Hello, I am finishing up High School ready to go to college, and I wanted to make a new iTunes account with my billing information so I could start fresh. I have an iPod synced to a current account, and the rest of my family has their computers synced to this universal account as well. What I'm really trying to do is just create a new account, but find a way to move all of my apps, music, and movies to this account as well, all while keeping the old account untouched. Any infromation for this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks to anyone who can helpContent can't be moved from the old account to the new one unless the iTunes Store staff says otherwise. You'll be able to use the old content after setting up the new account, but will require the old account's password to be able to update it or make in-app purchases from it.

In contacts there is the possibility to add a new event, as the birthdays, but they do not appear in iCal. Is there any way to make that possible? It is normal to have a person with his birthday, anniversary and others key dates you want to link to such person, but the only one shows up is the birthday. How to be able to show all those dates linked to people in the agenda in the iCal?

Dates to iCal 2 is a replacement for Apple's birthday calendar for iCal. It has a range of features to allow the user to choose what, and what not, to sync to iCal from Address Book.
As well as automatically syncing birthday dates from Address Book, Dates to iCal 2 can sync anniversary and custom dates. It can set up to five alarms for each date in iCal and can also set different alarms for birthdays and anniversaries. It allows the option of only syncing from one Address Book group. This application also allows for the titles of the events sent to iCal to be modified to the user's preference.

I have huge lag with Safari's Reading List using a rMBP. I have probably 80 articles saved, which is likely the cause of the lag. Is there any way to export that list of articles so as to be able to delete them from Reading List but still have a record of the articles I intend to read?
I'm currently dealing with this issue myself, except that my rMBP has NO articles in the reading list. It's a brand new rMBP too, purchased just this week, with the 2.6 Ghz Processor & 16GB of RAM.
Let's see what we can find. I may just take it back to the Apple Store. -
I purchased some movies off iTunes from my account (but from my father IPad) to download as a gift,
but didn't realize he can not view if not logged in with my account.

Try cleaning out the phone's port, of pocket fluff and such. Carefully. And check the mains adapter similarly, but less likely.

i'm having trouble with installing a 8g kit in my late 2009 mac mini. when the parts are installed all i get is a beeping sound, is there any way to get around this?

1 beep = no RAM installed
2 beeps = incompatible RAM types
3 beeps = no good banks
4 beeps = no good boot images in the boot ROM (and/or bad sys config block)
5 beeps = processor is not usable
In addition to the beeps, on some computers the power LED will flash a corresponding number of times plus one. The LED will repeat the sequence after approximately a 5-second pause. The tones are only played once.
Note: In this case, a flash is considered to be 1/4 second or 250 ms or greater in length.

Yes. Back up the Library.
Most Simple Back Up:
Drag the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to another Disk. This will make a copy on that disk.
Slightly more complex: Use an app that will do incremental back ups. This is a very good way to work. The first time you run the back up the app will make a complete copy of the Library. Thereafter it will update the back up with the changes you have made. That makes subsequent back ups much faster. Many of these apps also have scheduling capabilities: So set it up and it will do the back up automatically.
Example of such apps: Chronosync - but there are many others. Search on MacUpdate or the App Store -
I was given an 80gb ipod classic formatted with mac os. Is there any way to connect it to my windows pc so I can transfer the song to my library? When I try to connect to my pc I get a message asking me if I want to format the drive. I want to try to save the 15000 songs that are already on the ipod. Any suggestions?
The iPod and iTunes are designed so that you cannot transfer music on an iPod to another iTunes Library. This is because the 15,000 songs do not belong to you and you have no legal right to keep them.

Not in the Safari browser she can't. That is not supported on the iPad. There are other mobile browsers that do have that functionality - one is iCab Mobile.

I have a Netgear NAS which uses Stora software. Mavericks will not let me install the software as it is not from an approved developer. Is there any way around this?
There is, but why do you need the s/w installed? The NAS should have a web admin interface, accessible via ip address (http://<ip address>) which should allow all the needed configuration that is required for it to work with machines running os x.
Try to install as little s/w as you need to do something in Mavericks or any OS as it is usually the cause of future issues or problems.
If you're intent on installing the s/w, go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General and If you have tried to run it before, it should be listed there. You can then "un-block" it should you wish. -

I had created 60 users granting them connect and resource privileges in oracle(8.1.5.0.0).All of the users are working under their logins(users)...Every thing is going fine...But now i wanted to disable the objects owned by those users
(60 Users) for a period of 2 days,After that i wanted to enable them....Is there any way to disable the objects owned by them with out dropping the users?(The users should be able to work as prevoiusly on the new objects they will create after i disabled the objetcts owned by them previously)?hi
if my understanding is right you want to disable the users for 2 days for any reason let say he is on holiday for 2 days then why dont u lock this user and submit the job for unlock after two days.

Try this for making an external USB/DVD copy of Recovery on an external disk. internet is still required for reinstall, though, I believe: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4848. But at least you have a separate Recovery Partition if you ever need a fully new and empty internal disk.
Your assumption is incorrect. Although he may not be able to download it from the App store he can download it directly for the Apple servers using the recovery partition on his original drive.
All you have to do is start the install routine and then point the install to an external hard drive. Once the download is finished the computer will reboot to start the install. At that reboot disconnect the external drive so the install can not start. Boot the computer back into the OS on the internal hard drive, which is what will happen automatically once the external drive is disconnected. Then connect the external and copy the files from it that were downloaded. Right click on that downloaded package file and select Show contents. In the contents of that package is a file called InstallESD.DMG. Copy that file out of the package and burn it down to a DVD or USB thumb drive and you now have the Full Lion Installer. I have several of them laying around on different hard drives and 2 USB thumb drives which I have used to reinstall Lion on my 15" MBP.
