The Firewire drivers are not loaded

Hi,
The title of this post says it all.
When using system profiler I get the message " The Firewire drivers are not loaded " in red letters.
The Mac is a 2Ghz intel. So far I have...
1. Done all the usual maintenance. Erased the internal drive and re-installed the operating system. Re-set the PRAM. Re-erased and re-installed the operating system.
2. Discovered that the disks that came with the machine ( purchased brand new from Apple ) will not allow me to complete a hardware test - It hangs.
3. Wondered about being in the wrong job!
This all points, to me at least, to a faulty logic board. If it points some one else in a different direction I would love to hear about it

You might try resetting your FireWire ports, scroll down to the section: +If the issue persists, try these steps:+ in the following article:

I've got a 14 month old 15" MacBook Pro, now running Leopard. Firewire has not been working for some time. I've now looked at the System Profiler and it is reporting the following against the FireWire entry:
Warning: The FireWire drivers are not loaded.
Does anyone know if it is possible to reinstall the drivers, and if so where do I download them from?

My CrapBook Pro is doing the same thing. I have had problems with the Firewire 400/800 from the start...only recently did I really want them to work. It worked maybe 1 out of 20 times...multiple devices. ALL DEVICES WORKED WITH MY G5 running Tiger (was that before leopard).
So I brought the computer into the Genius Bar...they hooked some things view Firewire and they all showed up. I was told to bring one or more of my devices in to try them there...I get home...connect my WD HD with FW800...it appears...I connected my Plextor Burner with a movie in it...it appeared...I got excited that things might be working. Unplugged items plugged them in again...and nothing is showing up...I can still hook up the WD HD with USB...I know when I try the Western Digital HD via FW THE DRIVE KNOWS IT IS CONNECTED via lights...so I rebooted and tried it again...CRAP...nothing shows up via FW...then I too looked and found:
FireWire Bus:
Warning: The FireWire drivers are not loaded.
So...Apple is finally becoming as dependable as the PC! What a shame. Sounds like no one reading this forum has been able to get an answer.

Some Of The Following Drivers Are Not Being Inslled On The Notebook

As the topic says, i have an Envy 6 1002TX laptop and in this laptop some of the drivers are not being installed while they are available in the download lists of drivers for the same laptop.

While upgrading my 3,2 8 core power Mac , it will not boot. Going from 10.8.3 to 10.8.4. There is no visible video after chime. I need to get up and running ASAP. Could the video drivers have not loaded. Please help and thank you. Ps. Main drive ssd.

The Mac will not boot to a cd, Mac or disk warrior.
It will run for 10 minutes with no video, then shut itself down.
I've attempted Cd boot, zapping Pram, safe mode,
My new Dell monitor power light pulses as if no video is present
Wondering if the vid. driver did not load during update?
Can't seem to light one pixel, no matter what.

Update on this issue. I replaced the video card with an old one that I had and it boots fine.
Question, if a driver were missing from the update process, would I see anything on the screen at all. I had pure black as if no signal was carried to the monitor. I'm trying to rule out hardware failure, as this card is 1.5 years old.

The special characters are not loading. ?

For some reason the special characters stopped appearing when I click "Special Characters" under the Edit tab. I don't understand, and unfortunately in my academic work practically a third of the characters I have to use are these. Is there another way to access them or a problem that might be responsible? I already closed and restarted.

NEVERMIND.
The window was already open but at the VERY EDGE, barely perceived, at the bottom so I had to grab it real fast before the icons popped up. Lesson learned.

After installing the 9.0.1 update for Mozilla Firefox the bookmark icons are not loading on the bookmarks drop-down menu, even though they are loading when I go to Show All Bookmarks. Why?

I am using a Mac and the 9.0.1 version of Firefox

Images are not loading - but work in Preview mode

I was wondering if anyone can help me. I'm kind of new to Dreamweaver and I can't seem to figure this out on my own.
I'm using Dreamweaver 8. I developed a web page based on a template in which everything works perfectly in "Preview" mode on all browsers. But when I uploaded the files to my remote hosting, the template based images (found in the "images" folder) are not loading on the page. The images that I added to the template myself, found in the same "images" folder ($200,000 in ..., and picture at bottom) are loading. So some of the images in the images folder are loading some are not.
I've checked the Images folder on the remote site, and they all seem to be there. I've also checked for broken links, and I'm not getting any (I don't know if that would help w/ missing images or not, but I'm trying everything I can think of). I also checked to see if there is a separate CSS style sheet, and there wasn't one supplied with the template (there is some CSS info in the code on the html page). The image sizes are all small enough as well. Can anyone help me with this?

Your Web server is running on an operating system that is case-sensitive. You appear to have uploaded an Images folder, but not an images folder.
You do not have a file here:
images/squeeze-video_425x344_r9_c6.jpg
But you do have a file here:
Images/squeeze-video_425x344_r9_c6.jpg
So you'll need to either change all your image/<whatever> links to point to Images/<whatever>, or upload another folder named images.
Or, if you want to use a single folder, and if your local file system is not case-sensitive, you might be able to do it in DW's file panel. Here is a method that you might use to have all of them in a folder named images.
BACK UP YOUR SITE FILES
Rename Images to Foo (allow DW to update links)
Rename Foo to images (allow DW to update links)
Upload the images folder and any/all files that DW changed
Delete the online Images folder

For nascar.com if I turn off page styling it kind of looks like indexes.
From the View menu (Alt+V) see if what you have for Page Style -- if you have a theme try Basic Style to see if it fixes, and try "No style" to see if it looks the same as you currently see.
Besides themes, styles, and GreaseMonkey scripts you might have an extension such as Adblock Plus blocking some styles.

Script to know how many statements are not loaded in oracle CM

Can some one would help me on how to prepare a script to know the bank statements are not loaded into oracle CM and how many checks under that particular statement are not loaded??
I have the following info with me..
1. The statements are loaded in a temporary table as soon as we run statement loader program.
2. Then the records will get into ce_statement_headers_int_all and ce_statement_lines_interface.
3. Then they will get loaded into ce_statement_headers_all and ce_statement_lines tables.
Now, the only thing i am confused is how to get to know the statements list that are not loaded into oracle along with the error message. i am confused which tables will give the exact info ce_statement_headers_int_all and ce_statement_lines_interface or ce_headers_interface_errors and ce_lines_interface_errors??? immediate help would be highly appreciated and its very urgent...........

I dint get you. This is not something which SR can be raised. I need to know how script can be written to know the statements that are not loaded in oracle cash management. I need to prepare a notification where in that should contain how many statements have been loaded successfully and how many are not on a daily basis...

To return the audio output to working order, i recommend re-installing the original software and hardware drivers on Using Recovery Manager to Restore Software and Drivers (Windows 8). To update these drivers, please follow this resource on Using HP Support Assistant (Windows 8).

What did you plug into the usb port.
Have your tried multiple devices?
When was the last time they worked?
Try removing the drivers in device manager.
Then reboot and let them reinstall
If that fails the try a System Restore to previous date when they did work.

I installed windows 7 on my iMac 21.5 (late 2009) and when I boot windows 7, the lag drivers are missing and bootcamp is not installed. The windows package would not download through bootcamp, even when left alone for 2 hours.

Logic froze while I was working on something so I forced quit. Now every time I open LOGIC a message pops up that says:
"Error reading/writing file
“com.apple.logic.pro.cs”:
Logical end-of-file reached during read operation."
The only button option is cancel so I press it and another message appears that says:
"The Preferences are not loaded completely.
Do not save them, as you would overwrite the Preferences file with incomplete data."
Then when i close logic a box appears saying:
"The Preferences are not loaded completely.
Save them to "com.apple.logic.pro.cs" anyway?"
There are 3 button options to press; ok, cancel or dont save.
I press "don’t save" cuz I don't want to ruin anything.

If I do this will I loose or mess anything up at all, automation, saved channel strips customizations, saved effects, synth, or ultrabeat customizations etc? Or especially will I loose any work I've done? I have hundreds pieces of music files I've created. I'm scared to mess anything up with all the hours and months of work I've done. Is there anyway to fix this without loosing anything? I'm using Logic Pro 8.

You can safely delete this file - its the preference file for control surface settings - you haven't said whether you're actually using a control surface or not, if so, you will have to set it up again. A new file will be created when you fire Logic up again, but of course it will contain default settings. If you have a complicated control surface setup, remember to keep a backup copy somewhere in case any future problems arise.
Other than that, you really have nothing to be scared about - hopefully your problem is as simple as that and there isn't an underlying problem (a corrupt hard drive, for example). You seem concerned about losing work, so I guess you want to think about backing that up on a regular basis too. If you're saving your projects to your system drive, do get an external one for this. And also check that you have plent of free space on your system drive - you need to keep about a quarter or third of it free for your OS and programs to run properly (some temporarily stored files can be quite large).

You may have something as simple as a corrupt cache. Try resetting in Safe Mode and see if that fixes it. If not another thing to attempt is opening Disk Utility and Repairing Disk Permissions, do this action 2-3 times.
