The icon for Norton Identity Safe has disappeared and I can't figure out how to get it back on my toolbar.
I use Norton which has a feature called "Identity Safe." In the old version of Mozilla, the icon for this feature was available on my toolbar. Now that I have converted to the latest version of Firefox, the icon has disappeared and I cannot figure out to get it back. I can still activate the Identity Safe by opening Norton, but I want to restore the shortcut.
Symantec have made an update for their add-ons to work in Firefox 4, but they only listed them as compatible with Firefox 4.0, they need to update them to let them work in Firefox 4.0.1, they have indicated this will be happening soon. Rowdy1The alt key or F10 will reveal hidden toolbars. Then use View- Toolbars to turn them back on.
Then press F9 when in a write window to turn on the contact sidebar for access to your address books. -
I have a verizon IPhone and i can't figure out how to get my ringtones from the app to iTunes, my account doesn't have a ringtone section in the liRingtone Folder?brary, how do you enable the ringtone folder?
Edit > Preferences. Select the check box for Ringtones, this will add them to the listing in iTunes.

I recently deleted iTunes off my computer by accident, when I reinstalled it I got the new version and I can't figure out how to get my music to store on my iTunes to transfer from my iPhone to my iTunes. I goal is to get my iPod filled with the music that I have stored on my iPhone and figured the only way to do so is to use iTunes as my transfer hub. Any suggestions?

If I have no music on my iTunes at all and no music on my computer, hard drive or any other version of storage yet there is a playlist on my iPhone. While my iPhone is plugged into my PC and my iTunes is up, is there a way to swap my playlist from my iPhone to my iTunes? Directly? Without downloading some new media source or backing up my old media source from my history. The reason everything was deleted (iTunes and media source) was due to the size of everything and space it was requiring. I am simply trying to get 233 songs from A to B.

I have lost my "Basic" panel in the Develop module and can't figure out how to get it back. My right panel goes from the Histogram straight to the Tone Curve panel. My Basic panel should be below the Histogram. Any ideas how to get it back. I have even uninstalled my lightroom and reinstalled it with same issue. Help!!!
Right click on or near one of the other headers and a pop-up will appear and you will be able to select the Basic Panel for viewing.

The font on my 3gs suddenly went oversize, does not fit the screen, and I can figure out how to reduce the size. It is almost impossible to move around let alone type.
Try double tapping with three fingers.
Them go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom OFF. -
In frustration, I tried Internet Explorer (which I hadn't used in ages) and found that my Norton Security toolbar was available there, without any modification Everything I have tried with toolbars in general and specific on Firefox has come up empty.

The extensions API for Firefox 4.0 was locked down over 5 months ago so that security vendors could start working on updating their products for the release of Firefox 4.0. Symantec / Norton pulls this crap of waiting until the last minute for every Firefox major release ''(like they're surprised by the release of a new version)'', inconveniencing their paying customers by making them wait a month or two while they get their shet together.
A Norton 360 user has reported that the eta for an update is sometime in May. Those Norton clowns just can't see their way clear to just support the browsers that their users want to use, they always want to roll the update for Firefox into a new release of theirs and charge you for the new version. ''(They claim they are extending your existing agreement, but from some of the reports I have read, they don't really do that.)''

My notes disappeared for some reason. How do I restore from iCloud? Went into backup but couldn't find an option for restoring! Help?
The backup will first restore you app data and other settings, it will then restart and restore your camera roll photos, apps and other purchased media.
If you're concerned about losing purchased media you can always transfer them to your iTunes librarry first. To do this, make sure your computer is authorized for all Apple IDs used to purchase your media (in iTunes: Store>Authorize This Computer). Then connect your phone and in iTunes go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases. This way, should anything go missing you can always sync it back from iTunes.
iCloud should maintain your last three backups. You will be asked to choose which backup to restore to after choosing to restore to iCloud backup and signing into your iCloud account during the setup screens. -
So, in order to back up my music and stuff to the cloud I need to verify my Apple ID and I don't have the verification e-mail. If someone out there could help me out by telling me how to get Apple to send another one, or if they can, I would appreciate it alot. Thank you!!!!!

I synced my iphone, now I do not have my apps or my calendar on phone. How do I get them back onto phone? Things were great before sync...
The only way to do so is to start over: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings. You won't be able to use the backup of your old phone unless you are setting up a new phone.

This is purely a lay-out issue. We used to be able to choose to permanently display our bookmarks vertically down the left side of the screen, and I want to continue to be able to do so. My bookmarks are not lost; I know they are in my library. But the system doesn't seems to allow me to leave them on permanently down the left side. Please help. I have Windows 7 64-bit and the latest version ofFirefox.
Do you mean that the bookmarks sidebar (View > Sidebar > Bookmarks) gets disabled?

When you install Firefox 3.6 it will use your existing bookmarks and other user data.
Mozilla are working to prevent Mac users with non-compatible systems from getting the notification about Firefox 4, and also not displaying the "Download Firefox 4" button on http://www.mozilla.com -

Hi! It sounds like you might have accidentally changed the default font. You should take a look at the Knowledge Base article [[Changing fonts and colors#os=mac&browser=fx7]]. It should give you all the steps you need to change it back. Another possible scenario is that you accidentally increased the font size. This might give the appearance that all the text is in bold. You can find the details in [[How do I use Zoom?]] Since this can be done through a keyboard shortcut, it might be worth a look. I know I've accidentally changed the font size myself a few times.

I used to have Toodledo tasks in a sidebar on the left. Can't figure out how to get them back.
I don't remember how I set it up, but my to-do list was in a Sidebar, accessible on the View menu, on the left side of the page. It was listed on View > Sidebar. Now all I see are History and Bookmarks.
