The image sequence function stopped working correctly after recent update?

I have been using this function in quicktime 7 pro several times a week on a large project for over a year. After the most recent update to mavericks, the DSLR and gopro jpegs now open in digitized chunks of random colours. I have not changed my workflow or the gear in any way. I used the exact same files on my macbook air, without the recent OS update and was able to open and export the files like normal.
The updated machine is an iMac running OS X 10.9.2 with 3.4GHz i7 and 32gb

I'm still experiencing this problem. Is there anyone else who uses this function and has recently run into trouble?
What image resolution(s) are you using for your image sequences?

  • Catalyst Control Center stopped working properly after widows update

When I let Windows Update install the newest catalyst control center driver I could not open catalyst control center so I tried to do a system restore but it failed because It said my anti virus was preventing this with the error code 0x80070005.I first tried to disable the anti virus shields and restore didnt work. Then I uninstalled the anti virus and went to safe mode but it gave my the same error. Now Catalyst Control Center opens but the only feature available is HydraVision. I still cannot change the picture and graphics settings because they are not there to select in CCC.

Hello , Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience! To help you get the most out of the HP Forums I would like to direct your attention to the HP Forums Guide First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More. I understand that your Catalyst Control Center (CCC) program on your desktop computer has stopped working correctly after downloading Windows update drivers for it, and I would be happy to assist you in this matter! To correct this issue, I recommend returning your system back to a previous restore point to before the Windows updates were installed. This can be done by following this resource on Using Microsoft System Restore (Windows 7).  Once the restore point has been enabled, you can update your CCC and graphics drivers by following this document on Using HP Support Assistant (Windows 7).  Please re-post with the results of your troubleshooting, and I look forward to your reply!

Yes my particular issue is not like yours. However, there have been many other laptop users experiencing similar problem to yours after 3.10 kernel. Mostly it seems to be bumblebee users that experience your problem with the blank screen. We do know that nvidia have yet to make their official drivers work with kernel 3.10 and up. The drivers in the Arch repository have been patched to work with 3.10. From what I have seen, this also only seem to be affecting laptops with newer nvidia gpu's. I fear there is not much to do with this problem until nvidia give official 3.10 kernel support.
My suggestion would be to stick with 3.9.9 kernel and the drivers that work with it, and don't upgrade those packages until nvidia has addressed these issues. If you have a look at the nvidia forums you will see quite a number of topics mentioning black screen when starting x on 3.10 kernel, and also a thread for the system dying. Reading some of the threads there may help you keep up to date on whether or not the issue seem to be solved.

  • Wallaby animation isn't working correctly after app update

    Hi DPS fellows,
This afternoon I've updated my Adobe Content Viewer and all my wallaby animations began to work in a different way.
It's just fades in instead of doing the animation.
Most of them are just animated letters for a headline. The animations consist in each letter appear at different time, sometimes coming form right, some form left or from the top of the page, but after the updated, they just appear in a fade in. Before tha worked pretty fine.
Does anybody here knows how to solve that?
    Thanks a lot.

    Hi!
I have a German manual with a step by step list. How you can use Path-Objects (Text and Frames) for an Wallaby HTML5 animation. And used in the Adobe DPS Folios.
If you want to have the manual in German, I can send you this e-mail tomorrow!
    Bye!

  • Why do I continue to receive an iTunes has Stopped Working error after finally updating to 11.1.4?

Like many here it seems, in updating iTunes to 11.1.4 I received the Error 7 (windows error 126) error, as well as the MSVCR80.DLL is missing error. With help from this site, I managed to fully uninstall iTunes and then reinstall 11.1.4. The iTunes program will now open, but within 1-2 seconds it will crash with the error message "iTunes has stopped working - A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." This error happens every time the program is opened. I am using a 64-bit version of Windows 7. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can resolve it? I sure would love to be able to use my iTunes library again!

    did u fix it yet?
if u did can u help me cuz i havent use my itunes in like 3 days and its driving me crazy

  • Keyboard backlight not working correctly after leopard update

My mbp originally came with Tiger (10.4), when Leopard (10.5) was released I updated. The backlight for the keyboard works normally until I installed the 10.5.1 update. After 10.5.1 and all other updates the keyboard backlight no longer worked correctly. In low light conditions or while working in the dark I have to manually turn it on instead of it doing it automatically. Is this a bug or is there a way to fix it?

Yes, I have to cover the sensors with my hands in order for them to turn off when light is back on, otherwise they just stay on.

  • In FF29.0 bookmarks on the menu bar stop working correctly after exiting 'Customize': has anyone else noticed this?

Shortly after installing FF29.0 I noticed that the bookmarks menu from the 'Menu Bar' - NOT the new one that appears on the right of the screen - was not working correctly: specifically, when right-clicking on a bookmark to look for 'Open in a New tab' all the options were greyed out and I now realize that this occurs after exiting the 'Customize' screen, which effect I have consistently duplicated several times now; to restore functionality I have on each occasion had to close and re-open Firefox. This error does not appear to occur with the new bookmark menu that is associated with the bookmark icon at the top right of the screen. Has anyone else noticed this error?
(Personally, I prefer the bookmark menu from the menu bar, which incidentally I find easier to read than the new one and I like menu bars anyway.)
    Many thanks.

  • Image resize function stopped working

I have been using Elements for quite a few years and have had no problem in resizing images until last week. I often use the option of resizing using the cm measurements I want. When I tried this on my laptop last week the programme would not allow me to change any of the figures in the resizing dialog box. I tried cm, pixels and percentage and none of them would work.
I tried a number of different images from one file but could not resize any of them however I opened an image from another file which I know i have resi9zed in the past and this time the function worked fine.
I copied the image I couldn't resize to my main computer which also has Photoshop Elements and the resize function worked fine on this computer.
I uninstalled Elements and then re-installed it on my laptop but still have the same problem. I also have Photosphop Cs4 on my laptop and the resize function has stopped working in this programme as well.
    Hope someone can help.

The editor saved prefs often get corrupted. You may need to rebuild the editor preferences to resolve any conflicts.
Hold down the Ctrl+Shift+Alt keys and simultaneously click on the Edit button on the welcome screen. Release the three keys and look behind the welcome screen by closing it. Or hold down the keys whilst clicking on the desktop icon for the Editor or PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe in the Programs folder. Keep holding down all three keys until you get the settings option.
You should see a pop up box with the words: Delete Adobe Photoshop Elements Settings File?
    Click on Yes
Then wait whilst Elements rebuilds the preferences.

  • On Yahoo Mail, the "insert link" function stopped working

For the past few months, the "insert link" function doesn't work properly when trying to insert a link into a message. It inserts the link in the wrong place. For example if i paste the following text into a message:
    Regards,
    Jeff
    http://mywebsite.com
and then if i highlight the URL, copy it, click the "insert link" icon, and paste the URL, it does something crazy like this:
    Regards,http://mywebsite.com Jeff
or it makes the entire 3 lines of text a clickable link, instead of just the URL.
It works fine in Internet Explorer.
Things i've tried in Firefox 26.0:
    - disabled all add-ons (then restared browser)
    - cleared cache
    - cleared all Yahoo cookies
By the way, in Internet Explorer, pasted URLs automatically appear as links in Yahoo Mail without having to click "insert link". I wish Firefox enabled this, because it's very time consuming to manually create lots of links. Any plans for improving this?

I'm struggling to understand the difference between tabbing into the message body and clicking in it. I typed ''I'm mystified!'' and then copied the HTML as of that point. Then I selected mystified and added a link, and copied the new HTML (attributes of the initial div tag removed):

  • SQL CLR function stops working sometime after processing 10,000 web requests....

The CLR functon below works fine up to around 12,000 requests and then stops working. Am I missing something? Scott Mitchell

    Hi Scott,
There's not enough information there to troubleshoot the problem. Try looking in the forum for similar problem postings (there have been a few, IIRC). First thing to try would be issuing the same number of requests in a batch program, to isolate the behavior
to "code is running in SQLCLR". That would also help you isolate memory leaks, if any. Also:
Need version of SQL Server (version, service pack, and cumulative updates, is it 32 or 64 bit version). It matters.
Define "stops working". Does it produce an error message or appear to hang or something else? Does it bring down the appdomain (there's messages for that in SQL Server log). And does "redeploy" mean just DROP/CREATE assembly? Or bounce
    SQL Server, or something else?
And since it's a web service you're calling... if you trace to network traffic, is the message actually sent? Is the message received at the service? Does the service return a response? And does the SQL function process the response? Is it "your"
service or an "outside" service (perhaps there's a limit on number of requests or number of requests in a certain time period. Is it exactly 12000 requests or about 12000, and how many requests per minute? Isolate where in the intersystem communication
    it fails.
It could be a memory shortage or fragmentation problem. SQLCLR memory handling differs in SQL Server 2012 vs. other releases and also differs in 32 vs. 64 bit SQL Server. You can look at memory consumed by SQLCLR (sys.dm_os_memory_objects where
type like '%CLR%'). You can look at perfmon counter(s) for SQL Server or .NET perfmon counters for the SQL Server process to track CLR garbage collections (which does work differently in SQLCLR). You can look at sys.dm_os_wait_stats if it's hanging. And in
SQL Server log for SQL Server errors.  SQLCLR can fragment memory in older versions so that there's not a big enough fragment left to allocate. If it's pre-2012 read up on "mem-to-leave or mem-to-reserve" (two different terms for the same
    thing).
    Hope this helps, Bob

  • 1080p no longer working correctly after Apple Update

    Hello,
I've been running my Macmini on 1080p into my LCD TV for well over a year now with no problems. Until this weekend. Seems to have happened directly after the latest Apple update I did. The problem is, when displaying on 1080p about a quarter of the screen is cut off! The screen height is fine, and the left side of the screen is also fine, it's just the right side that is cut off. I can see up to about the wifi symbol on the menu bar, the time for example is off the screen.
I use a minidisplay port to VGA adapter to plug into my TV. I changed the resolution down to 720p and that fits but I don't like using this resolution as everything is too big and it's also a little blurry. I need my 1080p back!
    Any ideas??
    Thanks,
    Dave

    Hello,
I solved my problem with a workaround but the original issue is unresolved. I used an adapter to output to HDMI to my TV (2009 mac mini has no hdmi output) and now the screen resolution is correct. I am happy now.
However, it still does not explain why VGA output stopped working all of a sudden! I suspect some sort of change in the latest Lion update I did on the weekend.

  • The "find" feature has stopped working correctly

For the last few weeks when I use "find on this page" it doesn't work properly. Sometimes it will find the first 2 letters and then say that the word can't be found. I have even put in words that I can see on the page and it says that they don't exist. Even after it has located the first 2 letters. It seems like the problem exists usually between the second and third letter of search.
I am finding this particularly annoying as I am doing internet research and may have a gigantic document that I may only need 1 phrase from and it is making it so that I have to read the entire document. Usually very interesting but REALLY slowing me down.
Is it possible that I have accidentally changed a setting or something?

Make sure that "Match case" on the Find bar (Edit > Find or Ctrl+F) doesn't have a check-mark.

  • Server stops working correctly after Call Trace

I use linux-lts on servers. This one is running 3.10.16-1-lts and today it got the next call trace. Before this I've suspected proftpd like a possible reason and have changed it to vsftpd. There were the same server crashes with proftpd. In this case server uptime was 22 days.
What does this mean ? How can I fix this ? Is any workaround ?

After this load average slowly gets to 300 , some services die and server does not reboots on reboot command and even sysrq does not helped today (echo "s" | tee /proc/sysrq-trigger ; echo "u" | tee /proc/sysrq-trigger ; echo "b" | tee /proc/sysrq-trigger).
    Help me pleace :-).

i'm a newbie when it comes to call traces, but i do see a lot of reiserfs related messages.
I'd check for harddrive problems, and if you use diskquota verify they are not the cause.
I have checked "smartctl -a" output and it show zerro Reallocated_Sector_Ct counters on both drives (I use soft raid-1 and I cannot run longtime disk checks). Also I have umounted /dev/md1 (this is separate partition for ftp service and assuming that trace contains strings about vsftpd) and checked it with reiserfsck -- no errors. Then I've mounted it back and checket quotas -- all seems fine. I cannot turn off quotas.
Seems that I get underground knocking problem :-) or electromagnetic compatibility problem ...
