I can't access the iTunes store even though I am in the UK. it's a new computer with the latest version of iTunes downloaded and running away fine but this is killing me.
any help appreciated, been through all the help topic and they come up against a brick wall, my error isn't listed. HELP!!!

Yes.
Look around. Others are seeing this as well.
Be patient, itunes will correct their issue.

Hi all,
Using Contribute CS3 against Contribute Publishing Server--
I have the site uploaded and set up within Contribute and
CPS. But I am experiencing consistent "The selected file
does not exist" errors whenever I try to open most
documents within the site. I click the "Choose"
button, navigate to a file -- I can see its contents in the
"Preview" box within the Choose dialog -- and
when I click "OK", I get that file does not exist
error.
This is happening with most but not all files in my site
tree. Trying to find a common denominator, it certainly does seem
that files which trigger this error are all templated files.
Non-templated files open fine.
Contribute is configured to talk to the server (IIS) via
WebDAV.. Am trying to get the sysadmins to enable FTP to see if
this behavior also shows up then, but have not been able to get
this done yet.

Similar experience here but finally succeeded! Here's the summary
Decided to (finally) update MacBook from SL 10.6.8 to Lion (it can't run ML or Mavericks) so this week purchased from UK Apple store. Received redemption code from Apple via email after couple of days and successfully redeemed this in Apps Store.
Under Purchases in Apps Store clicked on "download" and nothing happened! Clicking on the app name "OS X Lion" gave the message "The item you've requested is not currently available in the UK Store". Contacted support but got no useful help there.....
Following day went back to Apps Store and tried again clicking Download - still nothing (apparently - see below) so started thinking upgrade unlikely and £14 wasted.
A little later noticed new icon in Dock and investigating it said downloading Lion - checked Activity Monitor and indeed my internet connection was being hammered. At a little over 4Gb got an error message saying download could not complete (needless to say not happy) and download icon disappeared!!
So with nothing to lose reclicked Download in Apps Store and again no obvious activity and this time no new download icon in Dock - decided to check Activity Monitor again (just in case) and again high level of download activity! Maybe, just maybe, I thought and after about 90 minutes the Lion install screen appeared!
Have now backed up the Installer and successfully installed 10.7.4
I can't offer any explanation why it finally worked - Apps Store still shows "Download" not "Installed" as I would expect and the item is "..still not available.."!

I'm trying configure E2E monitoring. I configured all necessary steps, I can see my BI 4.1 system in SLD, also in SOLMAN, all “lights” are green. But if I start Root Cause Analysis>> Ent-to End Analysis>> My system>> Workload Analysis, I see this error "The systems you selected do not contain any software components currently supported by E2E Workload Analysis".

It would be better if you can raise the question at Remote Supportability and Monitoring Tools
and or comment in the blog post How to generate and consume an E2E trace with BI4.x (for non-SolMan landscapes)

I updated to Yosemite. iPhoto says I need to update to the latest version. The app store says the version I need is not available in the US. Thus iPhoto won't work or even open at this point

If you go into the iLife support forum for iPhoto, there are a couple good threads. Basically, iPhoto can't be downloaded by anyone anywhere in the world unless the app store has it listed in your "purchases" list. The threads contain a lot of steps and it looks like this could be difficult for novices like me.

You cannot.
Unless you have done as you should and have the old facebook app on your computer.

Thanks for your quick response. I had a look at your discussion... I tried it on a Windows machine and I thought that was compatible with ExFAT?
Therefore I need to attempt to use my external hard drive with a machine that boasts OS X 10.6.5 or above and then it should work?

I can't download my purchase of OSX Mountain Lion. I get this message "The item you requested is currently unavailable in the U.S. Store" I click on the download bar and nothing happens. I'm at my purchases page App Store. I have Mac mini and OSX Lion.

After a little reading on the subject and talking to Apple support. This is how I solved this problem. With OS X Lion and Mountain Lion, they have LaunchPad on the Dock. The little bar underneath launchpad will start blue as you click on download. Also double click launchpad and it will show the picture of mountain lion downloading. I didn't know about my launchpad, until today. It will take a while because my high speed Internet only goes 1.5 MBPS. and I have 4 GB TO GO.

Not sure why I am getting this message anyway. I wasn't trying to buy anything. I just upgraded and then I tried to access the store. I had two purchases that I had previously made from a different computer. I was going to download them to this computer as my iPod is synced to this computer and you can only sync it to one computer. I was able to view my account information and from there I was able to click on the Purchased link. I saw the two items and downloaded them. But I received an error about the second album. It said that I didn't have sufficient privileges. When I checked all the songs had downloaded. Only the booklet was missing. Maybe this has something to do with the issue, I don't know. As far as I know, I purchased everything from the US store. I don't even know how to switch to a different store.
In any case, I can't access the store because the item I requested is not currently available in the US store. So why don't they just dump me at the home page instead of blocking me completely.

It is working now. I no longer get the message about the item not being available in the US and I can access the store.

Drop Ship the item if stock is not available

We have a requirement where,
A item is about to get expire (No more demand) but organization is having some stock of the item. So Purchase team has stopped procuring the item.
Now, when we receive any order for the specific item, client wants to look at the present stock and ship it if its available. If not, create drop shipment.
Does anyone aware of this functionality where a single item will behave as a stocked item if the stock is available and drop ship item, if stock is not available.
Any help will highly appreciated.

A given item CAN be procured internally or externally.
But that attribute is set when the sales order line is booked.
So you need some kind of a personalization that will look at the available qty of the item being ordered and then set the Source type to External if enough qty is not available.

You can't fix it. If the app developer has chosen not to make the app you are trying to download available in the store you are using, there is nothing you can do.

Thank you for your responses.. To Sjazbec, At least you guys in Germany and the Netherlands have some kind of posters from Apple to let you know that the feature is not available.
There is no such warning on the Irish Apple site.!
My point was that, I would not have even considered trying to reorganize my itunes library had I known that the feature is not available in Ireland.
And that falls into the domain of Apple Ireland advertising.. which I"m sorry to say is false and misleading.
There are no "posters" telling the Irish customer that icloud / itunes music is not available!
I"m not blaming Apple for not "having the feature" in Ireland.. I am upset at them for falsing advertising a feature that they cannot for whatever reason deliver to Irish customers..
