Recently i unchecked the box i tune wifi sync and try to connect my i phone using the usb cable provided. Now my macbook cant detect my phone, help!!  I cant sync my phone anymore....

The update did not do anything.
AT&T cannot and will not do anything, they do not provide support for iPhones, Apple does.
The issue is not with the iPhone or iOS if you've reset network settings and tried forgetting the Wi-Fi Network, it is specific to the network.
Check the settings on the router, try disabling the security settings first... that will clarify the issue is not with the device but rather the Network.

  • I clicked don't trust this computer on my iphone while connected to my new macbook how do I revert that ?

    Hello,
I'm trying to switch my iTunes library from my work ( Lenovo laptop ) to my new personal MacBook Pro.  My library is accessible from my iPhone and iPad so I decided to plug my iPhone into my MacBook Pro but by mistake I clicked "don't trust this computer" when I got the popup on my iPhone ... Anyone know how to revert that ?
and at the same time .. anyone can give me a good tip to easily switch my library from my Lenovo Laptop to my MacBook ? I want to de-install itunes on my work computer ( the Lenovo )
    Thank you

    Hi Rebekah...
This problem seemed to have worked itself out... Somewhere amongst these solutions...
    1. Reinstall iTunes
    2. Restart computer
    3. Restart iDevice
It didn't at first, and I thought to myself... "Oh great, another problem which Apple doesn't acknowledge as existing", but don't worry. Give it a couple of restarts, and if all else fails... Create a new Windows Logon and try from there.
It just happens I was in the middle of reformatting my PC and resinstalling Windows 7, so it wasn't so much an issue when I wiped as it worked when I tried it on a fresh system.
    Hope something helps...

  • Trust this computer message, is it going to delete my stuff?

When I plugged my ipod into my laptop, I got this message that says allow this device to access information, then says continue. When I clicked that, it then says trust this computer or don't trust it. I was wonder if it's going to delete everything I have on my device. My apps, music, and photos.

Nothing gets deleted. If you do NOT trust the computer you can't access the iPod wth the computer.

Well, you downloaded a bootleg copy of iOS 7 beta and have installed it on your phone without being a developer. It has bricked your phone and you cannot get help here because doing what you did has voided your warranty. Have a nice day.

  • Can't trust this computer for iphone and ipad with Itunes

    hi all
after updating to ios 7.1.1 on both my iphone 4s and ipad I keep getting this message when I connect my phone or ipad to my iMac
:iTunes could not connect to this iPad. You do not have permission.
then this : Do you want to allow this computer to access information on “davidbarton’s iPad”?
If you don’t allow access, you will not be able to manage or sync your iPad with this computer.
I click trust on the device and then continue from within iTunes and I get this : iTunes could not connect to this iPad. You do not have permission.
I have started getting this too after running disk utility and verify disk permissions, then running repair disk permissions
: The iTunes Library file cannot be saved. An unknown error occurred (-54).
*** is going on please and how can i fix it, anyone?
    thanks

    Yes.
Anything you uncheck in iTunes remains the same with iTunes regardless which device you are syncing.
I make use of iTunes playlists for the music I want transferred to my iPhone. Under the Music tab for my iPhone sync preferences, I have selected playlists, artists, and genres chosen. I select the iTunes playlists and/or artists and genres that I want transferred to my iPhone. I also have sync only checked songs and videos selected under the Summary tab for my iPhone sync preferences. This way if I want to remove a song or songs from my iPhone without removing the songs from the playlist I've selected to be transferred to my iPhone, I can uncheck the song or songs in the playlist in iTunes followed by a sync. Or I can remove a song or songs from the playlist in iTunes followed by a sync. To add additional music to my iPhone, I can add the music to one of the playlists in iTunes I've selected to be transferred to my iPhone followed by a sync.
You can have the same playlist or playlists transferred to both, or different playlists transferred to each, but whatever is deselected in iTunes will be reflected on both with sync only checked songs and video selected for your iPhone and iPad sync preferences.

  • HT4910 I was directed to go to 'store' and say i trust this computer...but I can't find that anywhere in the store. help

I was trying to updated my iphone when I plugged into my computer (PC) and it said I had to go to the store and check 'trust this computer' in order to download new version and not lose apps i had purchased on iTunes. I can't find where to do that?

  • "Trust this computer" no longer displays

So I have made a mistake. I had bought a mba and I needed to charge my iphone 4s. I hadn't transfered all of my data from my old mbp so when I plugged it in, not thinking it through, I hit "don't trust" on my iphone. Now that all of my things have been transfered, I plugged my iphone into the computer and didn't recieve the message. I didn't think much about it, I just simply ticked the box for sync wirelessly. I unhooked the iphone and it doesn't stay paired up. To sync my iphoen, I have to plug it into the computer otherwise the computer cannot find the iphone wirelessly.
    What I've done:
"Reset the settings" on the phone
"Reset network settings" on the phone
    Restarted computer/iphone
Hooked up my ipad to see if the issue continues onto the ipad, but it works wirelessly and flawlessly
    Made sure mba is updated
Continously re-plugged in iphone in case the message pulled back up
Tried closing out of AppleMobileDeviceHelper in Activity Monitor
Figuring it was an iphone problem, opened old mbp and the device pulled up without being plugged in
The computer cannot find the phone with bluetooth, even plugged in
Manual sync does not work unless you connect the phone
The message doesn't pop up with anything I have done and it is driving me CRAZY. I love the wireless feature because I can be anywhere and sync my phone.
Please tell me how to FIX this problem!

mario49 wrote: "If you select Trust, the computer will be trusted indefinitely"
This couldn't be further from the truth. I am still asked this occassionally when connecting both my iPhone and iPad to my computer - and each time I've been asked this, I have selected "Trust."
In addition, see the thousands (literally) of threads of others who are experiencing the same issue. For example, a Google search of Apple discussions on the topic gives back 11,600 results:
