The iTunes store will not open....-3256.....please help!!!!!!!!

I just downloaded the 7.0 and my iTunes store will not open. It says "iTunes could not connect to the iTunes music Store, An unknown error occurred (-3256). Make sure your network connection is active and try again."
My network connection ia active, I tried again a bunch of times, I tried restarting my computer, I read a lot of forums, and tried the tips Apple gives you. Yet the music store will not connect! Please help!!!!!!!!!

Yeah,I have the same problem. I have this problem every time i update iTunes. Usually following tips on the forums helps but this time it's not. I haven't been able to access the music store for so long now. Can anyone help?

    Even though you're using a later version of iTunes, I'd first try the following document:

    Here is the fix for that problem, if you're still having it.  I had the same thing happen.  Sony Singh posted this in another conversation and it worked. Just be sure to reboot after copying and pasting the file below.
    Copy QTMovieWin.dll from:  C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
    to: C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes

    Close your iTunes,
    Go to command Prompt -
    (Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
    (Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
    In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
    netsh winsock reset
    Hit "ENTER" key
    Restart your computer.
    If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
    Now launch your iTunes, Sync and see if it is working now.
    If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

    A long shot, but make sure Safari is set to accept cookies either "Always" or "only from sites I visit". If you have cookies turned off completely, that may cause a problem.

    Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

    There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
