The message icon is not showing in the drop screen of my photos where it says do you want to email, message, assign, use as waller paper etc. it used to show before and now it's not there how can I get it back?
Did this back along to mine. Plug it into itunes on your pc (or Mac) and click on the ipod icon on the left hand side. When the device options come up on the main screen, click on restore. Follow the steps and it should restore to factory settings. If you had icloud activated on the ipod all previous purchases should be in the cloud and ready to download onto the ipod afte rit has been restored to factory settings, otherwise you'll have to download them all again. Hope it helped.

Maybe you have multiple accounts that's why your purchase history is empty. You can try checking for possible Apple IDs that's existing for you or you can ask for assistance from support.

Hi, don't know if this even right forum but: when I first got my imac in summer 13 I loved the convex apppearance on the internet screen. I downloaded an update and it disappeared. Can I get it back? My iPhone was restored but the backup with all of my photos etc was not selected and now that backup is gone from my choices. How do I get that back?
But the only iPhone backup was the one with nothing included. It does not have my backup from my iPhone that was backed up right before the reset. Now it is gone and the only iPhone available is the current one missing everything.

apple update erased my playlists, they are no longer showing on my iTunes. I am missing songs that do appear in iTunes and should be on the ipod but are not, and new playlists that I didn't have are now where mine should be. Any suggestions as to getting "MY" ipod back?

Can anyone help I have lost my SETTINGS app on the opening screen of my iPad and can't find out where to retrieve it. I have re set the factory settings but it did not re-appear. The chances are your replacement came with an older version of iOS. Go to Settings > General > About > Software Version... does it say something between 4.0 and 4.3.5?
Plug it in to a computer with iTunes to update it. When you launch iTunes it should prompt you to update to iOS 5.1. -
Accidently right clicked the blue star and now it is gone. How do I get it back?
