The Photobucket Uploader Add-on won't connect to my photobucket account
No matter what I do, login/logout, unintall it, reinstall it, it just continues to say "Uploader Login" on the dropdowns where it should show my account name.

The Apple IDs from @mac.com and @me.com (Older MobileMe and more recent iCloud Names) are also Valid AIM Screen names.
Any other sort of Apple ID is not a Valid AIM Name.
A Google ID that is associated with Google Mail Account (And has "Talk" enable on your Google Settings) can be used in iChat as Jabber Name/ID. (Google Run Jabber server).
Jabber and AIM are different IM Services and it is not easy or straight forward to add Buddies from one Service to the Buddy List of another. (As A Starting point consider it "impossible")
iChat 4 and 5 have links to the registration page of @Mac.com here with a "Get an iChat Account" button in the add (Account) screen (You select @mac.com or MobileMe and then press the Button - Choosing AIM and then pressing the button used to lead to the AIM registration page but AIM moved their page).
Apple IDs can be any valid email (or an @mac.com or iCloud registration)
Therefore you could make a Google ID into an Apple ID.
However this will not be a valid AIM Screen Name the way @mac.com or MobileMe/iCloud ones are.

I have an Ipad and an Ipod Touch 5th gen both on the latest firmwares but they won't connect via Bluetooth whenever I try even though both shows that the devices are discoverable. I also tried connecting them with my Bluetooth enabled laptop but it also didn't worked. Because of the Bluetooth not working I also can't enable airdrop.

Otherwise you need an app to pair via BT one iOS device to another iOS device. There may be apps that allow pairing with a Mac computer. The iOS devioces do not have the BT profiles necessary natively to pair with a computer or another iOS device except for AirDrop -

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

My iPad2 3G won't connect to 3G. It used to (bought Nov 2011) but hasn't for a couple weeks. The AT&T account is current. I've tried turning off the wifi but it still won't connect to 3G. Any ideas?
Have you tried using it in a different location; say in the town center.

I have tried all the solutions apple has offered online. I will not reset my phone to factory settings unless it is a last resort. What is Apple doing to fix this? I had my last Iphone last for more than 2 years and I hve had this one less than a year. My Wifi was greyed out and now it's on but won't connect or locate any networks (but if I keep switching it on and off it will freeze on me again). Does Apple have plans to fix this problem because I refuse to purchase a new phone?
Are there any other new solutions to try in fixing the Wifi that doesn't require freezing or heating up the phone or switching to airplane mode and resetting the network settings as well making sure it's up todate or changing the apostrophe in the phone's name? my phone has stopped connecting to my gmail account.When I click on the mail button it opens and the a message appears that says the user name and password for "imap.gmail.com" is incorrect. My information is correct under settings I have even deleted account and tried to re-set up my gmail account. Still nothing. It had been set up for months and working with no issues.
ATtempt to power off your device and power it back on, if that doesn't work reset all settings should resolve it for you

Issues with setting up ATT 3g. ATT reconizes the setup but IPAD 2 won't connect with 3g network
Setup brand new IPAD 2 ATT wifi +3G. Everything went smooth even setting up the ATT cellular data connect. ATT reconized the purchase however the IPAD will not erconize the 3G function when the wifi is turned off. I have an Iphone 4 and the 3G network works excellant from where i'm using the IPAD 2.
We had the same issue, and had to take the iPad to an ATT store, where they changed out the SIM card. It worked fine after that.

My iPhone 4 is on but the screen is black and won't connect to iTunes. What do I do?
My iPhone 4 is in very good condition. But this morning i was on my phone and it froze. So i just put it down and waited for it to go back to normal. A few minutes later the screen went completely black. I though it just turned off so i pressed the home button but nothing happened. It was at about 80% battery so i knew it didn't die, but i tried plugging it in to see what would happen. My phone made the sound that it usually makes when I plug it into a charger but still the screen was blank. I tired to plug my phone into my mac to restart it in iTunes but it never connected. It only connected to iPhoto. I've tried holding down the lock and home button until the apple logo came on the screen but it never did. I don't know what to do. I know I should take it into the apple store but I want to try to get it to work at home instead of having to go all the way out there. Please if anyone has any suggestions that would be great!
If you have attempted the reset, which is holding the home button and sleep/wake button, was it still connected to the computer? Have you tried to do that when not connected. You stated it never came on, how long did you hold the buttons together? If you cannot get it to connect to iTunes then you would not be able to restore the device. You can see if you can put the device into Recovery Mode by following the instructions in this support document. If that does not work, then you are correct, make an appointment at the Apple Store. After upgrade to 28.0 the initial password request, needed by the company firewall, is never popped up. Any site I try to connect to will timeout. I tried all existing passwords, and even completely removed and reinstalled Firefox. Still no prompt. If I open Internet Explorer I can get a password prompt there, and after I enter it I'm good with my firewall for the day, so I know the firewall is still acting the same way as before. I'm set to remember passwords, and my homepage is set to open http://www.google.com. So that's the site that used to hold the firewall login ID and password. Any ideas?
A firewall should never require a password, only a proxy would require such an authentication.
It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

After the last update my iTunes won't connect to the store
I'm not sure what happened but after my iTunes updated to version 10.5 I can't connect to the store. I called in once and the person had me uninstall itunes and a few other things and then reinstall and it worked for a day and then iTunes updated again for some reason and once again I can't connect to the store. Any suggestions?
Hey, I had the same problem with the itunes not connecting to the store thing, I recommend checking your firewall and stuff make sure itunes (or safari) is not blocked, if everything is ok with that (apple apps not blocked), Uninstall Itunes, safari, quicktime icloud and whatever apple app you have on your computer. and get an earlier version.... the problem in some cases? Apple Application Support on itunes 10/quicktime 7 and later, a flaw that apple has to work on I recommend downloading a earlier version of itunes

4th generation ipad (a1460) 6.1.2 won't connect to ntlworld email account
I've read numerous articles on how to correct this, but none of them work.
IMAP is enabled in ntlworld settings
ntlworld is part of virgin media
virgin media use google mail
I've tried all the different variations for the server name including ntlworld, virgin media and google and none of them work.
Previous fixes have alluded to checking the port settings on the ipad, but that does not seem possible on the ipad I have.

or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- Install iTunes 11.5, that is the latest version
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

Hi, I was using my Ipad one day on the inrternet and it stopped connecting. It hasn't connected yet. I have wiped it reset it and all of the above but it still won't connect.
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app
