My G4 desktop won't cold start. I have to plug in to the outlet for about 15 minutes every time. Can anyone explain why? Otherwise, the desktop runs fine.

I believe that is for ADC Monitor power if you had one, or a card with ADC, like the little tab on this one...
I think your startup problem is bad capacitors in the power supply or on the logic board, and the need to bleed off their charge before they work right to start. -
Have an iphone 5c 8g. The home button has stopped working. Did the same a few months ago and recovered 24hrs later. Can anyone explain this problem. Phone still in warranty. Had steam issue recently but this was after last home button episode and no evidence of damage.
If you are playing in hockey arenas a lot or if you are bringing it into bathroom same time as shower it may not seem like much but overtime the steam can acquire and build up in the phones usb dock flex cable swell as the home button flex cable. Bring again into apple store and should be covered under warranty again. could also be a delay in a 8gb 5c software may just be very lag.

Hiiiiii Everyone,
I want to install HFM,FDQM,FR software into my system,Can anyone explain me clearly i.e...I wanr hfm 11.1.1.3There are a lot of other variables here that the OP will need to think though such as :
#1 - What OS environment is he installing to?
#2 - 32 bit / 64 bit?
Some examples :
- If running Windows 2008 64 bit OS, there are some things you need to do specific to that.
- If you are running 64 bit Hyperion software / 32 bit FDM and NOT on IIS 7, you have other considerations. On IIS 7 you have additional considerations as well.
- If running more than 2GB of memory for the app, you will have registry settings to make on HFM app server to make sure you are making full use of additional memory
etc, etc, etc.
#3 - He will also need workspace so that he can install framework, and financial reporting web application
#4 - Will need FRclient and most likely an installation for print server.
#5 - Clustering? If so, you need considerations for Shared Storage
#6 - Database? Specific settings for Oracle vs MS SQL Server
#7 - EPMA or Classic? (Even if classic apps, I'd probably install EPMA so that it is available if you want to migrate)
#8 - Calc Manager or No? (Probably install regardless so it is avaialble)
I would strongly recommend starting here :

question :- as seen from the above, the same document has 2 contradictory port numbers. in the settings for Oracle HTTP Server it says ..

When trying to select an email address to receive iMessages I can't seem to select an email. It's in a light grey color. I can't figure out how to get it to be in a normal color so I can highlight it to use for iMessages. It's my son's iPod Touch and his iPod Touch is hooked up to my account. Does this make a difference. I have most of the iCloud stuff turned off so we don't have to share a lot of stuff.

The Max woker threads for Standard(S2) is 100, you should upgrade your database to Permium tier.
The concurrent requests limit of premium database varies depending on the reservation size of a premium database. For example, for P1, the max worker threads is 200.

i am completely unable to access the wifi at all, and have tried many different remedies
I have, and nothing has worked. I bought the ipod used, so i have no idea what happened to it that would have caused the wifi to work. everything else is working (that doesn't require wifi). i have lots of music and apps, but i'd still like to be able to use the internet. that's one of the reasons that i bought it.

I'm unable to change the Project Start Point. ( I can change the end point easily)
On page 151 of the manual it states:
"You can move the project start point to an earlier position..."
I can't find a way to do it. Are other able to change it. If so, please explain the procedure.Mmmmm,…..I just noticed this as well…….
Anyway, try this:
For the sake of this demonstration start a new project.
Click the mouse pointer on the playhead in the ruler,
now the project start indicator should appear, hover the mouse pointer above it until this indicator appears,
when you see it left click, hold and scroll to the left.

It means the downloaded file is corrupt. You need to try again. Are you on broadband or dial-up? If the latter you can expect problems with large files coming through uncorrupted. Alternatively try downloading the file directly from Apple's download site (www.apple.com/support/downloads/.)

That file could be set as a Launch Agent or Daemon in your ~/Library or /Library, You could try to look for it or Safeboot your computer and then empty the trash.
