The SIms 2 and iMovie

Hello,
I want to start making movies by using Sims 2 with iMovie 09. However, when I import clips into the program, they are upside down in the preview screen. I tried to change the quality and size of my Sims 2 clips, but to no avail. (This only happens with The SIms 2, I made some tests with my camera and my build-in Mac camera and they work fine.)
Are there any patches or any other way to fix this?
My Mac specs:
24" Mac
Mac OS: 10.5.7
Processor: 2.93 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Ram: 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 120

I got a new iMac about a month ago and had the same problem with Sims 2 video clips that you have but I figured out how to fix it.
1 Select the clip from the event library and drag it to the project library
2 Put you mouse arrow on the clip near the beginning and a little blue rectangle with a gear appears, click on that and select "clip adjustments"
3 When the box pops up, click on "convert entire clip", then when it's done, click "done"
After that your clip will play right side up (you can also change the speed after converting)

Z2 suddenly Not recognizing the SIM and no signal.

When I'm using data for straight for like 2 or 3 hours, the phone suddenly stops recognizing the SIM and it shows no coverage. I have to restart the phone all the time :/

I've a DVD movie , I want import it to iphoto and imovie , but it doesn't work and my laptop doesn't support it.
It show" You may need to install additional software to open this type of file."
May I know how to do, because I want make a imovie from the scene of the DVD if possible ?

If they are commercial DVDs, we are not allowed to help since it would violate the ToU of these forums as it involves copyright and DRM issues. Did your friend copy a commercial DVD? If not, and it is homemade, you'll need to figure out what format the movie is in - you should be able to import the footage to iMovie and may have to use a converter to get it into a format iMovie can read. I can't help with iPhoto since I never use it.

Try a restore, if that does not work, contact apple because it may be hardware.

Don't know where you got that idea, all US Cricket iPhones are carrier locked, with NO way to get them officially unlocked, as Cricket DOES NOT offer official unlocking for the iPhone.

How do I save my iPhone phonebook to the SIM and synch to a Windows XP PC

I have recently acquired an iPhone for business use, as it seemed to be a very capable handset - which it is, but surprisingly not to the extent one would expect.
All previous mobile phone handsets I've have owned let you choose to store your phonebook to SIM and/or the handset's memory. I haven't been able to find a similar setting in the iPhones menus - does anybody know how to do this? One can import SIM contacts, but not vice versa.
Alternatively, does anyone know of a desktop application for Windows XP that will backup or synch the contacts and calender from the iPhone. I've tried iTunes but all it seems to sync is music and photos - neither of which are applicable to a business user. Maybe I've missed something.
Again all other handsets have come with Windows compatible backup/sync software which enables one to backup your contacts as well as inputting data either through the PC or the handset. To-date I've not spotted any useful utility in the AppStore. Our business doesn't use an Outlook Exchange Server, and we don't want to move to one just to be able to backup. Similarly, our business doesn't store data on insecure public websites such as GMail, Google etc.
Don't get me wrong the iPhone is a nice bit of kit - just difficult to back-up

Thanks for pointing me to the manual. I was surprised that there wasn't a manual in the box with the phone. It seems that the iPhone is left to the user to find things out by osmosis.
You confirmed what I suspected - that you can't save to SIM. Why not - I don't understand. When the handset breaks, gets a flat battery or get to old to use etc, I won't be able to just transfer the SIM to another handset, as I have done in the past. This is a serious deficiency on Apples part.
As for contacts - I don't particlular wish to use Outlook. We use Thunderbird and Scalix for our email. I had hoped to find a dedicated desktop program similar to those provided by Palm, Nokia etc with their phones
I see from the Manual that Windows has a contact list application and will see if I can configure this to provide what I need. In the mean time I will continue to duplicate data on my trusty Zire which has never let me down so far.

I have an iPhone 5 but just got an iPad air for Christmas. I didn't realize I set my iPad up under another Apple ID until my phone was not syncing with my iPad so I erased all content and reset the device to put them both on the same Apple ID. The problem I'm having now is the apps that are supposed to be free like iPhoto and iMovie are saying I have to pay 4.99 for them how do I fix this problem. Cause I did have them installed when I had it set up under the other Apple ID name :(

Trying to activate my 3GS and the phone will not recognise the sim and will not activate

I have changed my call plan with my service provider from contract to PAYG and have just tried to upgrade my 3Gs to IOS 5.0.1. I have purchase a iPhone 4 and was using the 3Gs as back up.
I set the phone to factory restore as it was being sluggish and I felt a restore would be the best option. The restore went ahead but the phone will not accept that I have a valid sim in the phone and will not activate stating that the servers cannot activate the phone.
The sim is the new PAYG sim given to me by O2 and I had even arranged for the number to be transferred to the PAYG sim. I am at a loss to understand what has happened as the sim will work fine in an old 8gb Iphone 2g and other mobiles. I have not kept the old contract sim so I am unable to insert that to see if that was the problem.
How can I get my 3Gs acitated and working? Do I need to contact O2 or take the phone to an Apple store. Any advice would be appreciated.

The iPhone 4 and iPhone 5s use different sized sims. So you can't simply have inserted the 4's sim into the 5s.
If you got a new sim, was that sim activated without your carrier?
You need to contact your carrier if you wish to have your service on the 4 transferred to a sim that the 5s can use.

Look at the SIM card tray.
You will see a small hole.
Poke a SIM card removal tool or small paper clip into the hole until the tray pops out.
Remove the tray.

Where are the FCPx and iMovie audio files located in fcpx 10.1

I updated to FCPx 10.1 a couple days ago and have now realized that none of the FCPX or iMovie audio files are showing up under the Music and Sound button. Does anyone know where they've run off to?

Log out of the iTunes Store on your device:
Settings>iTunes & App Store...tap your Apple ID, then select "Sign Out"
Reset your device:
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.
After the device has restarted, sign back in to the App Store as above.
