The whole of my Adobe Creative Suite needs updating but once I go through the download process it says that there was an error and the updates failed to download.
It tells me to quit and try again at a later time. I tried to do one program at a time but it still doesn't work. How can I get these updates? I'm using a PC and CS5.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It won’t solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of this test is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account. Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this behavior; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault in OS X 10.7 or later, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The "Guest User" login created by "Find My Mac" is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing. -
I tried several times to download pages that I already pay for and it says that there was an error in the installation , what can I do
- Temporarily disable anti virus software if installed.
- Apps such as Little Snitch, Net Nanny, and Hands Off can prevent apps from downloading.
- Third party download managers can cause problems when downloading apps.
I see v10.7.4 in your profile but make absolutely sure that's correct because the minimum requirements for Pages is v10.7.4 according to the Pages Information panel at the App Store.
Click your Apple menu icon top left in your screen. From the drop down menu click About This Mac. -
I attempted to install the newest OS update to my Iphone 4 this morning and got an error message that it couldn't install. Since there my phone has been frozen on a screen illustrating the USB connection to Itunes. The phone will not restore after 3 attempts.
Any cures out there?You are in recovery mode. Restore it through iTunes on your computer.

I opened up my photoshop (circa 2004) and got a message that it has expired (or somthing to that efffect). This is CS2. I have the hardcopy. Upon closing it and reopening it I got a message that there was "serious error" and I needed to reinstall. Upon reinstalling with my hard copy I got the same error message. Any thoughts? Are all former versions of the creative suite disabled to promote use of "the cloud version"?

When I plug my Ipod in, it says that there was a malfunction in the USB deivce, and when I go to look at the drivers, it says no drivers are installed, and when I try to install/update them, it says that there is no better match.
Not if you first do a sync and have iTunes make a backup. However, if your only copy of the iTunes data is in the Touch, then you need to first copy the data to a new iTunes Library using third-party software such as Phone To Mac.

Just upgraded my iPad to IOS5 and when the download was completed, a window said that there was an error and it could not restore. Now I have a black screen with the Apple logo and the circle lines. None of the buttons respond. Help, please!!
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Maybe this will let the iPad reboot and then you may need to restore again but see if this helps to start the iPad first.

I just tried to install Photoshop 4.0 to my iMac (version 10.9.3) and I was informed that there was an error with the software. I could not install it. Where do I go from here?
Photoshop 4.0 is not compatible with MAC 10.9.3 . You will face issues as when Photoshop 4.0 was launched there was no MAC Mavericks and Adobe has not tested the version on new MAC OS.
If you want you can download the latest version of Photoshop CC 2014 and you can use it as a trial for 30 days and you can plan to switch to the latest version.

What is the best way to copy aperture library on to external hard drive? I am getting a message that say's "There was an error opening the database. The library could not be opened because the file system of the library's volume is unsupported". What does that mean? I am trying to drag libraries (with metadata) to external HD...wondering what the best way to do that is?

I attached the UltraMax Plus with a USB cable. The UltraMax powers the cable so power is not an issue. I can open other files. Also, there is 500GB of files on the drive so I cannot re-format it. Although, I noted I could import the entire Aperture Library. However, I do not want to create a duplicate on my machine because that would be defeating the purpose of the external drive.

hello i have a trouble with my i phone... i was trying to update a new software and at the end it says that there is some error and i cannot turn my i phone bak on all it shows is itunes logo in the midlle and usb cable with an arrow pointing at the logo. When i try to open aperture, i get a box popup that says;
Warning-There was an error opening the database for the library “~/Pictures/Aperture Library.aplibrary”.
Can anyone help? I cannot accesss aperture. this is the 1st time this has ever happened...
