The Windows XP links tool bar at the bottom of the screen now hides the last line or lines of the browser screen. Why? (V3.6.16)

I use V 3.6.16 and since a recent update, it looked as if I'd lost a line or two at the bottom of the screen. What happened is that the Windows task bar showing quick launch icons, links to running programs (tabs) and the clock, etc., now obscures the last few lines of the browser display. This is since approximately a week. I assume it's due to FF updates rather than to WinXP but of course I don't know. I don't see a problem with other programs. In particular, IE doesn't do it which makes me think it's an issue with FF and it's new. I looked for something under options I could change but couldn't find one. Anyone have an idea?
System is working fine -- Windows XP SP/3 with all updates. Avira antivirus. Thanks!

Oops... sorry! Problem was that the window was not full screen! Darn, I'm a dummy. It was almost full screen so I didn't bother to check. Issue solved. Sorry for the false alarm.

I am not sure what your problem is, can you give more details.
One possibility is you may be in full screen mode, for details on fixing that see the [[menu bar is missing]] article.
If you are missing various toolbar items, see the [[back and forward or other toolbar items are missing]] article.
If your problem is something else please give more details.

Customize The Window A Link Opens

Hey, I've had some great success with this forum before. Fast responses, friendly people, and fantastic answers so I though I'd ask for help with something else I've struggled to get answers through googling.
I have products on the site I'm building, and I'd like to save space on the product pages by showing medium sized thumbnails of the product, however I still want people to view larger images of the products, and so I've placed a "Larger Image" button, and I have it linking to a new window where they can view a larger image of the product. I've used target="_blank" to have it open in a new window. The link opens a whole new window though. I'd like this new browser window to open in a much smaller size, and without the address bar. Much like how this website has it set up:
I'm lost on what I would use to customize the window my links are opening in. Any help or advice is, as always, greatly appreciated!

Move the mouse pointer to the top of the screen.
Menu bar and Safari toolbar will be visible now.
Click the green button in the toolbar.

Thanks for the reply with additional information.
Recent history for Premiere Elements points to the program having problems when more than 1 video card/graphics card is
being used by the computer on which Premiere Elements is running. This observation may seem contra indicated by the fact
that you say that the program did work well about 2 years ago in the same setup. But other factors may have set in with regard
to drivers, drivers versions, and driver conflicts. But this factor, does need to be ruled in or out.
Can you disable one or the other card to determine the impact of this on your problem?
But, of prime concern with regard to video card/graphics card is the use of a NVIDIA GeForce card with Premiere Elements 10.
Even if your NVIDIA GeForce were the only card, Premiere Elements 10 will not work properly unless the NVIDIA GeForce driver
version is rolled back to about May 2013. This may be one of the major factors here.
a. Device Manager/Display Adapters and find out Driver Version and Driver Date
b. Read the background information for the Premiere Elements 10/NVIDIA GeForce issue

The Elements 12 Mac disk works fin - I also have a Dell, and the Windows disk will not run at all, sounds like it's grinding, and is almost impossible to remove from the hard drive. I cannot find any place to tell me who to CALL to ask for a replacement!

You can use a download instead of the disk as an alternative: Adobe - Download free trial version Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 | Adobe you can license with your serial
Please test the disk in another windows machine to check if it's caused by the drive or the disk. If you tested with 2 drives please start a support case, i assume Adobe will only provide downloads at this point. They are the same as the trials. If you still need a disk you can burn the trial to a disk as a backup disk. Good luck!

the "Cache Viewer" extension 32.8KB

Close the mail app, double tap the home button and completely close out of the app.

Take it in and have it assessed. They do not have to know about the bag incident unless the explicitly ask for the specific details (like when you are being questioned by a TSA screener, LEO, etc.). As far as you know, the noise started up and it is getting warm. With luck it is just an unbalanced fan that needs replacement.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
