There any way to know where my ipad, because it was stolen? and do not use iCloud? besides not remember if you have installed any applications to track it?

If you did not set up Find My iPad, then there is no way to track it. Contact the police and change any passwords for any online accounts you may have used from your iPad (the iTunes Store, for instance).

is there a way to view my photos if my phone was stolen and has been turned off?

No. All you can do if you have Find My Phone setup is erase the device or lock it. It must be connected to Wi-Fi in order for the commands to take effect.
What To Do If Your iDevice or Computer Is Lost Or Stolen
    iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad
If you activated Find My Phone before it was lost or stolen, you can track it only if Wi-Fi is enabled on the device. What you cannot do is track your device using a serial number or other identifying number. You cannot expect Apple or anyone else to find your device for you. You cannot recover your loss unless you insure your device for such loss. It is not covered by your warranty.
If your iPhone, iPod, iPod Touch, or iPad is lost or stolen what do you do? There are things you should have done in advance - before you lost it or it was stolen - and some things to do after the fact. Here are some suggestions:

hello there, this is really urgent i would like to ask if there is a way to deactivate/lock my Mini Ipad because it was stolen, i hope you can provide me a way to do so, thank you for the support and i really hop you can help me, i bought this mini ipad not too long ago.

Unless you enabled Find My iPad on it before it was stolen then there isn't any way to locate it. If you did enable it then you could try locating and/or remotely wiping it either via http://icloud.com on a computer or Find My iPhone on another device - but that will only work if it's connected to a network and the device hasn't already been wiped and/or Find My iPad disabled on it.
If you haven't already done so then you should report it to the police. You should also change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc., and if it was a cellular model you should also contact your carrier.

If it was stolen seven months ago, then you are a little late to do anything about it. Buy a new one.

Outlook 2003, 2007, or 2010 along with syncing calendar events and notes, or with the address book app used by Windows Mail called Windows Contacts for syncing contacts only.
Before syncing contacts with an empty Windows Contacts address book, enter one contact in Windows Contacts. This will provide a merge prompt with the first sync for this data which you want to select. Syncing direct with Windows Contacts via the iTunes sync process is selected under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.

Is it already stolen or are asking if it gets stolen in future?
In either case, if you have iCloud setup, you can do better than shut down. You can lock it remotely and 'usually' locate it using iCloud:

  • Fusion Drive: is there a way to know where data is?

I have just set a Fusion Drive in my iMac and I was wondering, out of curiosity: is there any way to know which drive data is stored on, at a given time? In other words, can I know if a file is stored on the SSD or on the HDD right now? Or can I know the current distribution of data on both drives?
    Thanks for any reply!

No. In general, parts of a file might be distributed on both drives. This is not something you need to care about.

  • Is there any way to turn off airport without removing the electrical plug and should I unplug it when not using it??

I just got the 5G Airport Extreme base station. Set-up was a snap! Maybe 10-15 minutes compared to a friend who got another name brand for his pc and took a couple hours, even having to call customer support! Been working great so far, but am concerned about never turning it off, not only about the possibe harm that could be done to the unit, but also about having an active, open Internet connection 24/7. Before I got my Airport Extreme I was using Ethernet cable with a cable modem that could be placed on "standby" whenever I was not using my Mac for Internet, but since AE5G doesn't have a power switch on the unit, have left it turned on rather than unplugging it by the electrical cord. I did turn AirPort "off" in the menu bar when not using it wth my Mac, but AE is still apparently constantly active, showing a steady green light. Would there be any harm done by plugging it in only when I want to use Wi-Fi, then unplugging it?
    Thanks for the help!

Would there be any harm done by plugging it in only when I want to use Wi-Fi, then unplugging it?
That is a matter of debate, since there are two schools of thought regarding power status on a router.
One school maintains that you can turn the device on and off as needed. Makes sense for some folks. The advantage of this is that it might save a bit of electricity, although the Extreme draws very little power most of the time.
Another school believes that there is a reason why Apple did not even place an "Off" switch on the device. It's designed to run 24/7.
Leaving the Extreme on will place far less stress on the electrical components in the device since they stay in an "idle" state most of the time, drawing very little current. Powering any electrical device up sends a sudden rush of current through the device, which places far more stress on a device than if it is simply left on.
It depends on your priorities. If you want to save electricity, your decision is already made. If you intend to prolong the life of the router, then consider leaving it on, as Apple intended.
A compromise position might be to leave the Extreme on most of the time and power if off for long weekends or vacation periods when you will be away. Remember that the Extreme must establish all new network connections every time that it powers back up....perhaps another reason to simply leave it on.

  • Is there a way to transfer all of the songs from an iPhone (4), to iMac using iCloud?

I honestly don't know what happened one day all of my music just vanished off of the system.
But I still have all of my songs, books, movies etc on my iPhone.
I know you can transfer things from your Macbook, imac etc from iTunes to your iPhone, but is there a way to do it the other way around?,
PLEASE HELP! It will be much appreicated, my iTunes library started 6 years ago, that's a lot of music lost!

Music purchased from iTunes can be transferred from your phone using iTunes, however other music cannot.  To do this requires 3rd party software such as PhoneView (mac) or Touch Copy (pc or mac).

  • Any way to know where a clip came from within the source clip?

Using Premiere Pro CS4, Version 4.2.1, on an i7 based PC.
I would like to be able to see where a clip on the timeline came from within the clip in the source monitor. Where ever there is information about the clip on the timeline, it only seems to tell me it's 'Start', 'End' and 'Duration' in relation to the current Sequence, but nothing relating to the 'In' or the 'Out' points within the source clip.
Is it possible to read this somewhere, rather than having to replay the clip in the source monitor to discover the in and out points? It tends to be tedious doing this too often.
    Thanks in advance, hopefully.
    Peter.

    Awesome sauce Shooter
That is exactly what I wanted to know.
    Much appreciated!!!

  • I bought an Ipad with cell in Singpore and want to use it in uk with uk sim card, is any network okay?

I need to roam in uk - can I use any network sim? Bought Ipad in Singapore?

Don't see why not.  I have an iPad 2 which I bought in France, where I live.  I have a French (contract) sim card in my iPad, and every time I arrive in the UK, I switch to a British (pay as you go) sim card I got in London.
Mine comes from O2, but I have previously had one from Vodafone.  I only use it when there is no wifi available, as my particular offer is limited to 1gb of data a month.
