Just a month ago i reported trouble with my BT youview box and the blocking / freezing with the box putting up messages banner that signal is bad and code ipc2063 ...BT did reply to this and it took a few days to fix a network performance and for about 3 weeks i had a OK service. ....BUT I now having the same troubles on all the channels on BT. ....sadly I gone over all the rebooting to the Hub5 and the Box yesterday and still **bleep** viewing with so many breaking up in an hour and sometimes minutes that is worth me getting on the phone line again and go through all the trouble of reporting and in few weeks doing it all again? ?????
Okay I have now phoned BT and told them the trouble and they was nice and helpful and done the same thing of testing the line and then phoning back to say that was ok just as the tests i done and then the hub5 reset then youview box switch off / power off at plug switch then 10 second wait to switch on then reboot and then checking out the channels then he said that he would send a text message and if i still have troubles to text back and someone will phone me after reading report to what has been done. So we see how long this last after this.....

Thinking of giving my mini a restart from disc...
So I bought my Mac Mini a month ago, I'm impressed however with me being new to OS X I think I might not have done everything right. I can't lay my finger on what I have done wrong but sometimes after I have put my mini to sleep, on wking it up again all I get is a blank white screen and I have to reboot. Also, when I open Microsft Messenger it shows up as a removable storage device in the finder and on my desktop, another problem is I can't seem to download realplayer either. My computer works brilliant on the most part and In one normal session everything is likely to work fine, it is just these little things that have me wondering.
On day one I had my Mini with an Advent LCD, and a Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop (keyboard and mouse!) I used the Mini for 4 hours then decided to insert the Microsfot driver for OS X fpr the KB and M, that is when I restarted and I got nothing but a white blank screen with a disc stuck in, I took it back to the shop and the person there ejected the disc with a wired Apple keyboard. Now I have a wired Apple keyboard and mouse. Another thing is that I don't know what to do when I download an application like Microsft Messenger for instance, it seemed to be two files downloading and I didn't understand it and now I have a vague knowledge that you're meant to drag the application icon to the applications folder.
So there you go, my mac works fine for the most part, I just have a few minor issues, I have had a Keyboard and mouse that led to my computer not working for 24hours, and I get confused at what to do when downloading applications. Can anyone tell me what to do from here? Is it worth rebooting from disc as I have an iPod with all my data on, and are there any risks in rebooting, any long term effects on the computer? Are there any ways to sort out my issues without rebooting?
Thanks in advanced for the replies.First off, when downloading applications that are dmg files, those are disk image files. These when you double click them will show a removable device on the desktop, which as you correctly assume, you need to drag the application to the Applications folder on the hard drive. Once it is there in the Applications folder on the hard drive, and you verified with Get Info in the File menu that it is an application there and not an alias, you can drag the removable storage image to the trash.
Secondly, I'm not sure what you mean by a blank white screen, but does it include a four language screen like my kernel panic FAQ discusses?

Anybody with isues running office:mac 2011, I am using Mac OS 10.6.8 It ran for 2 years then recenty started giving me error message that it might not be compatible. I tried reinstaling with no luck.11?
I think my problem has been that in Sytem Preferences>Mouse, my "Double-Click Speed" was set to the SLOWEST setting. After some experimentation, I now have the that setting two notches from the "Fast" end of the scale. In case it's important, the "Primary mouse button" in my Preferences is set to "Left".
This not only solves the text selection issues described, but also seems to eliminate the strange "resolving alias to" problem.
[For the curious, I have a Logitech Performance MX wireless mouse which can be configured with "Logitech Control Center". But the LCC software doesn't control double-click speed; this setting can only be made in the Mouse System Preference pane.] -
I have a 16GB 3GS phone since about20 months now. For the last few days, my phone is constantly giving me message that the accessory attached to my phone is not optimized for this iphone. You may experience noise or poor communication, while there is no acessory attached to it. I always used standard headphones and charging cable. Now when i recall, it started at one of the sync sessions with my itunes. I have turned my phone off and aon again and again but the message keeps coming every one or two minutes.I have also started loosing voicce on different applications like youtube etc. Also the ringer volume up and down key does not show me the small boxes increasing or decreasing on screen. The phone is playing crazy. Can someone help please

ZiaIt helped earlier but it has come back again. I don't know what to do. I tried what you said earlier but this time even this is not working either. And quite intrestingly my phone won't turn off. I turn it off, it goes off and then restarts on its own and then keep giving the same message again and again.
Could it be a charging cable, is there any chance that the cable which was working fine one day could turn to be "incompatible" with iphone the other day????????

my new macbook pro is giving me hardtime. even apple team is not being to solve it. they replace the motherboard first it didn't work. second time they formatted the computer and that also didn't work. every time my mac showing different problems.
At first my computer had issues. Once it go to sleep it will not back again. I dropped my laptop at apple store to fix it. After 10 days they returned my laptop saying they were no able to fix the problem so they replaced motherboard aiming if that might help. Acttually that didn't help.I had same issue again. I visited apple store again. This time they said they could fix, if I will allow them to format the harddrive. I said ok. They formatted it. It was working fine for few daysAfter few days compter is taking.even more than 15 min to shutdown. Now computer has another problem. It is being hang frequently like every 20'to.30 min.

My iPhone 4s does not ring for incoming calls. Ring tone set and used to ring. I think it has something to do with updating the IOS 7.0.4. When I updated to 7.0.3 the microphone stopped working. Had to call Apple Support and cleared phone and reloaded. ($57 charge). Any suggestions?
Start with your finger at the bottom of the screen (about even with the home button) and swipe in an upward motion. There should be a row of icons at the top of a grey field. if the quarter-moon icon is bright white, tap it. If it was (and still is) dark, take the iPhone in to be evaluated by a qualified technician.

It sounds like you are unable to play a couple of songs from your library becuase you get a message that the computer is unauthorized to play, but other content purchased that same day works without issue. I would verify that the affected songs were purchased with the same Apple ID first:

Highlight one of the items you have purchased (You can find your purchases in your Purchases playlist).
Choose File > Get Info.
Click the Summary tab.
The Account Name area will list the account used to purchase the item. Unless you have changed accounts, this is your iTunes Store account name.

The same thing happened to me on my old iPhone 3G. My guess was that water entered the headphone jack, and somehow made some short inside it making the iPhone believe that the headphone was plugged in. Pluggin and unpluggin the headset many times proved that sometimes it worked ok for a while, so what I did to solve the problem was spraying some good quality contact cleaner inside the jack, and voilá, still works fine after one year of the problem. Make sure you use a good quality contact cleaner WITHOUT LUBE, ( WD40 IS NOT GOOD FOR THIS PURPOSE) otherwise the lube will remain in the inside of your screen without a chance of cleaning it unless you dissasemble the iphone. A good quality contact cleanner should displace water and grease,and leave no residue after it evaporates ( IPA Iso Prophyl Alcohol, Hexane, or Heptane based products are ok)
The other possibility is taking it to the repair shop, and have it looked by an expert. Good luck! -

No, it has something to do with the firmware on the phone itself. The phone won't do anything. I have used redsn0w to try and put the firmware back on, no luck though. The farthest I am able to go is DFU mode. The message on the screen says, "Error no successful firmware download after 60000 ms!! Giving up..."

Can you think of any situation where you will find VENDOR information populated for a STO moving stock from a Plant to Store under the same company code?
I got an error ("Enter goods for vendor XXXX only") and this was triggered by the fact that one STO had vendor information in the delivery document. The outcome of this was that every STO beneath this STO could not be GR, but every STO before and including the STO were GR without any issues....

I am not sure exactly what you mean when you say "Vendor information populated for an STO". Is this a UB STO?
Tell me exactly what transaction you are performing, and the data you are entering, when you get the GR error.
Generally, when you set up master data for a STO, you have to assign a vendor to the plant. It is possible that somehow the source plant has become un-assigned from the vendor. WB03, clik past any warnings, enter the plant. In the upper right corner, there should be a vendor. If nothing is there, then you have to re-assign the vendor to the source plant. MK02 enter the vendor you wish to assign to the plant, and the purch org you should use for the STOs. Execute. Select extras > addl purch data. enter the plant. Save.

We had a month End scenario where the depreciation for a company code is not executed for the last month and closed the period without checking it.
While running the Depreciation posting for this month we encounted a error that last motn period is closed. Can we do the depreciation without opening the period closed. Kindly let us know the options available.

There is no way you can post depreciation without opening the prior periods. Please discuss with your business and secure all necessarry approval, I believe the business has a process on this kind of situations. As long as it is fully documented, auditors will not find it wrong.
This is the best time to improve your process, think of possible ways so that business will not forget to post depreciation (e.g send automatic email during 3 days before, 2 days before., 1 day before and during the day of depreciation run).

If you haven't done so already you need to migrate your mail account to iCloud first and do so IMMEDIATELY at the website Move
Then
Delete your mail account from Mail preferences and set it up again using the Mail Server Information.
