Third-Party access to AP health-information over 5508 controller

Hello,
Situation:
Third-Party Tool (Whats up gold) has connectivity to a 5508 controller, only.
There is no connectivity to the remote LAP access-points from the third-party tool.
Is it possiply to get the health information (AP available or not) over a controller via SNMP?
Sven

Just to elaborate on what Steve is saying:
The SNMP monitoring of APs is still through the WLC itself. You would be pulling this information out of the WLC not via reachability to the AP itself from your tool.
Or you could use Whatsup for just an IP reachability (ping) of the AP which would require interaction with the WLC.
Can Whatsup be a trap receiver? I believe the WLC will send TRAPs for AP up/down events which I would think you could query off of.....

  • Questions with Third-Party Access Management Systems

    I was reading: http://download-east.oracle.com/docs/cd/B14099_18/idmanage.1012/b14078/tpsso.htm#i1009152
And few questions raised in my head:
1st: On the IPASAuthInterface implementation we're told to fetch a header that was set by the third party server. Well, if we do a redirect from that server the header does not reach the destination, what would look like the code on the client?
2nd After oracle fetches the info needed, will it then generate the SSO_ID cookie put on the response? Where does it redirects the user afterwards?
3rd Will this overwrite the convetional way of authentication within Oracle AS?

I am also trying Oracle EBS / Oracle SSO integration with IBM TAM and facing the same problem.
Where as IBM trace shows that user-id has been passed to backend but it never reaches the custom authentication file in http header.
But it works if I use harcoded userId in custom authentication module!
What I have noticed is, Once TAM passes the user id and before it reaches the custom java code, there is one page is being displayed (index.html) this page is autogenerated thru autoconfig utility.
I think http header reaches till this page but this html pade does not f/w the http header to custom java file.
I dont know how to modify this auto generated index.html!

    Hi Michael,
there are different ways of accessing the SAP backend system from an iView developed with the PDK for .NET. You can use
    - the SAP Connector for Microsoft .NET (design time supported only in VS 2003, runtime works in VS 2005)
    - Web Services if your SAP system is running on Web AS 6.40
    - Web Services via XI/PI or BizTalk Server
    - 3rd party adapters
    - Enterprise Services
If you browse through the forum and sdn.sap.com of www.microsoft.com/sap you will find a lot of information and pros/cons for the different methods of how to connect to the SAP system.

  • OSSO with third party Access Management solution

    Hi everyone,
I've seen some documentation about integrating Oracle Portal (protected by OSSO/OID) with OAM. Does anyone know how to do this type of integration with Sun OpenSSO 8.0 (formerly Access Manager 7.1). Is it basically the same process? What kind of custom development/work will be required on the OSSO side? Does anyone have any "lessons learned" or "watch out for xxxx" type information in this type of integration? Also, would I be required to install an agent (Policy Agent, Web Gate, Access Gate, etc) on the Oracle HTTP Server? There are currently some agents running on reverse proxies. Would these be able to pass the necessary parameters to the OHS/OSSO server, or does the agent truly need to be on the OHS?
Thank you for any information you may have regarding this.

  • Third Party Access to Account Data

What legal documents do I need to provide to Verizon Wireless to find out what information was shared with third parties and when the information was shared? I believe my family's constitutional rights were infringed upon by an overreaching government and Verizon was complicit in providing this information, knowing at the time that it was unconstitutional to do so.

  • Integrating SAP HCM with third party Access Control System

    Hi Experts,
We have client using SAP HCM and intend procuring an Access Control Solution to manage her people.
What the client wants to avoid though is having to create a new employee in SAP HCM and manually creating same in the Access Control Software. Is there a way this can be automated such that upon recruitment of new staff, the data is updated in the Access Control DB which uses MS SQL? If this is possible, what is required to get this working well.
Thanks for your support in this regard.
    Regards
    John

For time management with the help of transaction pt80 you can download the information about employees with the help of idoc. And there are some programs a.k.a connectors that link access control systems and SAP so that you do not hire the same employee in the access control problem. You hire the employee in SAP and SAP sends the information (HR Minimaster DATA) to the related program.
It is also do the same thing for the employees who resign. I mean if an employee is fired or resigned from the company than it is sent to the related system.
These can be found under PDC integrated systems. You can find information about the systems from Ecohub. http://ecohub.sap.com/
I hope this answer will help.

  • Third party access to Business Catalyst admin console: dashboard freezing

    Hi,
My client can't access his admin console in Business Catalyst to edit the website we've built for him. He's using both a Mac G5 2.1gh power pc OS 10.4.11 and a Mac Laptop 2.2gh intel core duo 10.6.8. He follows this link http://www.slowhome.co.uk/AdminConsoleXT/#dashboard but the screen just freezes. I've resent passwords, fiddled with admin persmissons but nothing has freed up access yet. Any suggestions, clues or answers please? We're using Adobe Muse to build and Business Catalyst to manage. His browser meets the system requirements.
    Cristina

What browser is he using? The user account for the other admin at the site seems to be properly set up with all permissions assigned. I'm unable to reproduce the problem either. If the problem persists, can you ask the user to try another browser or clear cookies/temp data/cache for the current browser and re-try. If that doesn't help, please try logging into the admin using a different network connection.
You could also try creating another admin account for the user and test it out. This would also help isolating the issue to being account specific. If that doesn't work either, please reach out directly to BC live chat support through http://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?product=business-catalyst.

  • Installing third party software at the same time over network.

Hi I know i can copy the installer onto the local drives and manually click on the installers and type in the password etc.
However this is extremely laborious and very time consuming.
Not being an expert in terminal are there any commands I could use to run the installer, and fill out the administrator password when requested?
    Thanks any help appreciated.

Repackage the installed files using PackageMaker or LANRev InstallEase and push out your new package using ARD.

  • Third party access to airport extreme

    HELP!
We have the aiport extreme which operates my iBook G4 laptop wirelessly. Now I like to connect our work computer to the wireless connection. The work computer is an "Acer" which has 802.11b/g wireless LAN capability. It picks up our wireless feed but cannot connect due to my security encrypted airport Extreme base. What I really need is the step by step in setting up my AirPort Admin Utility.
What I have done are: uncheck the "closed network" option, created an equivalent network password using 128 encryption (13character password), firewall is off (should it be on???)
    Please...Help...
    Thanks

You shouldn't have to make any changes with the Airport Admin Utility. On the Acer, just add a new network connection using the "New Connection Wizard," follow the instructions and enter your network's security password when prompted.

  • THIRD PARTY RETURN SALES

    hi friends,
    In third party  RETURN SALES
    what is the business flow???
After returning the goods to vendor, How we create creit note ??
    means which reference( OR,PO,RE)???
    thanks

    Third Party Return Process
Please check this extract from the sap library :
If the vendor grants you a credit memo on a quantity or a value basis, you can then send this credit memo directly to your customer.
The billing type Third-party credit memo (G2S) is available for this. The billing type Third-party credit memo works with the item category TASG (third-party credit memo item). The Billing-relevance indicator F is set in Customizing for Sales for this item category. This means that the cost is not created. In Customizing for Sales, the item category TASG is set at item level in copying control for the billing type G2S (copying control sales document by billing document) as the target item category (source: TAS-> Target:> TASG.)
    Process Flow
Create a billing documente with billing type Third-party credit memo (for further information, see the section Creating a billing document in the Billing document). Enter the third-party order as a document still to be processed. The quantities are automatically removed from the invoice.
The above is the process for giving a credit memo which can be adapted for return goods.

  • Third Party Sales Returns process

    Hello All
We have a third-party sales process which is automated i.e Sales order and Purchase requisitions(VA01) are created using the data coming in the incoming EDI file, the Purchase requisition is automatically converted to a Purchase order, the Invoice Reciept(MIRO) is posted and the Sales Invoice (VF01) is posted.
The question is how do we handle the Returns or the Credit process?
Is there a way I can configure the system to create a Returns order which will also update the Pur.Req quantity then the Purchase order quantity  or directly the Purchase order quantity. I can then use this information to raise a credit to the Vendor Invoice.
I don't want to just raise a credit memo and update the sales side and leave the purchase side open.
    I appreciate your reply.

  • Third Party Sales Order

    Dear Guru's
In Third Party Business Process  the vendor deliver the goods directly to customer. How we came to know that Did  the customer received the stock from vendor to company ie system. could anybody explain me in this Regard.
    Thank you
    Acquire

    Hi
In third party there are 2 processes With shipping notification  and Without shipping notification
    1. With shipping notification means that the third party informs you that he has delivered the material your customer and you can raise the invoice to your customer based on this shipping notification without having received your bill from the third party vendor
    Shipping Notification
When the vendor has sent the material to the customer, they will normally send you a shipping notification, which, amongst other things, contains the exact quantity of material sent. You have the possibility to enter this shipping notification into the system in the form of a dummy goods receipt. It will be posted directly in consumption so that no stocks are created. The quantity of goods received then updates the quantity to be invoiced in the sales order. Therefore, it is possible to create the customer invoice before you receive the incoming invoice from the vendor.
    Billing Documents
The billing documents are created on the basis of the order. Since the vendor might not deliver the exact quantity ordered, quantity adjustment takes place via the shipping notification.
    Vendor Invoice Verification
The vendor invoice verification can take place after billing. The variance in purchasing can be updated in Controlling using retroactive billing.
ControllingThe revenue and costs will be posted to CO-PA using the billing document.
    Key Points
The customer invoice can be created on the basis of the shipping notification before receiving the incoming invoice from the vendor.
    2. Without shipping notification means that the third party does not passes the information about the details to you , of the delivery of the material to your customer
In this case you cant raise invoice to your customer till you receive the invoice from your third party vendor
When you do MIRO of vendor invoice the system understands the goods has been delivered

  • Process Required for Third party sales

    Hi Guru ji's ,
Pls let me know the step by step procedure for Third party sales processing.
    on the below conditions.
1] Sales order to be created automatically based on the Bapi .
2] Based on the Sales order, automatic Purchase order and Gr must happen.
3] Automatic invoices must also be created automatically.
Can any one explain us what is to be done under the above said conditions,
    Best Regards,
    Gurpreet Singh Saini.

    Hi
Please find enclosed the details on third party.
Process Flow for 3rd Party Sales
Customize the third party sales in summary:
    1. Create Vendor XK01
    2. Create Material u2013 Material Type as "Trading Goods". Item category group as "BANS".
    3. Assign Item Category TAS to Order type that you are going to use.
    4. A sale order is created and when saved a PR is generated at the background
    5. With reference to SO a PO is created (ME21N). The company raises PO to the vendor.
    6. Vendor delivers the goods and raises bill to company. MM receives the invoice MIRO
    7. Goods receipt MIGO
    8. Goods issue
    9. The item cat TAS or Schedule line cat CS is not relevant for delivery which is evident from the config and,   therefore, there is no delivery process attached in the whole process of Third party sales.
