Third party storage adding to VDI host

dear all,
Currently I'm doing evaluation test of Third party storage(Dot hill iSCSI) for Oracle VDI.
during test I have encounted some error for adding storage phase.
after mount LUN of Dot hill storage,
when i try to add storage to VDI host , error is occured with this message.
Error executing command 'iscsiadm -m node -T iqn.1995-03.com.dothill:01.2331.00c0ff138e31 -p 10.0.0.11:3260 -l' on host '192.168.0.111': iscsiadm: No records found
I just wonder something is wrong or this Dot hill storage doesn't have compatibility with Oracle VDI.
Any comment will be appreciated!

Are you trying to do this on a Linux or Solaris host? Generic iSCSI storage is only supported with Linux but not on Solaris.

Why can't I have all my photos saved in my photostream across devices? It seems like on my iPad that my photostream is only the pictures from the last 30 days, sometimes I need to text out pictures from my iPad that are older than 30 days or have to use older photos for presentations etc. (I'm a teacher). I have taken to uploading all my photos on dropbox so that I have access to all of them on all my devices but is there a way of still doing this with iCloud without having to save your photos in some third party storage? This is awful. I appreciate the return of the camera roll but a lot of times I don't have my phone with me in the classroom and need to be able to do all the things that I do on my phone on my iPad. Also do not have enough storage to store the photos on my iPad.

Xsan and Third Party Storage

I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to this -- but will Xsan work with third-party storage (i.e a non-Xserve RAID)? I'm pretty sure as long as it's a certified Fibre Channel device that all is good. I just wanted to get feedback from those who have tried it (and let me know what storage you're using).

Who can you recommend as a third party storage provider for my very large I-Photo file?

If the collection of Photos is indeed "very large", then online storage (simply for Backup purposes) is impractical. It takes too long to transfer the files.
If you want to provide ACCESS to the files for others, the features provided by the service outweighs all other considerations.

How to remove a third party item added to System Preferences

I downloaded and installed a third party program which placed and icon for it on System Preferences. I would like to remove the program from my MBPro and remove the icon for it from System Preferences.
I would appreciate your help and suggestions to do it.

Yes, Yes, Yes. I know that Launchpad is part of Mac OS X. It is my error in describing by problem which is now resolved!:
I installed a program called "Launchpad-Control" to more easily arrange and/or delete icons/apps. In doing so, the installation placed an icon in System Preferences under "Other" which replicated the Launchpad icon of Mac OS X. That icon then loaded its program "Launchpad - Control" which is what I wanted removed. I used MacGunt's reply and removed the icon for "Launchpad - Control" and it also moved Launchpad - Control to trash. After restarting my MBPro, everything was/is back to normal!

Goodevening every body,
Its one our requirement , we wants to deliever good from third party storage location by using third party scenario with shipping notificcation but as per my knowledge there is no delivery from sales side ? (VL01N) .
Note->I know only this process in that scenario ( Third party wih shipping notification) -> OR -> PR-> P0->MIGO-> MIRO->VF01 but he wants the delivery to happen in this process (VL01N) after MIGO is it possible to do that in third party with shipping notification?

Third Party SL

Scenario:
A third party storage location (TPSL) is created.
This TPSL has all the materials to be provided for subcontracting to vendors.
I want to create a report through which shall have materials sorted for EACH VENDOR, its QUANTITY and DATE (when provided to vendor).
Also, which input screen shall I select for this output.

Domain at third party & hosting with Adobe Muse CC

Hi everyone,
if I register my domain at a third party, can I then host my site with Adobe Muse (CC member) including my own domain? Or do I have to host the site at a third party?

Hi Frenchfries,
You cannot add Domain name to Muse. Here is the process how this is done.
You create a site in Muse,
You click Publish and publish to BC. Now by default all the sites are created with .businesscatalyst.com URL,
Once the site has been published, you login to the Admin panel of the site, and add your domain name, mydomain.com.
Once you have added the domain, if someone checks out the website on the Internet (some random person) the URL will be "www.french-fries.com".
Also, once you have added the domain name, it will be listed in your site's list under Muse, from where you select the site to republish the content.

Third Party Online Storage

I have a client that has a lot of 1,000 mp3 files to be uploaded in the site. Business Catalyst doesn't have a good deal when it comes to online storage [$10/1 GB annually]. GoDaddy has a great deal so I'm going for that.
My question is, Is it possible to host my site using BC but use the online storage thru GD?

Thank you for the links. But I think I got already my own style.
If the visitor click the blue "play" icon, It will open a new tab in html5 audio format. If they want to download the audio, they can click the "down" icon on the right side.
If the third party online storage will work. Can you please show me step by step how to do it?

Adobe Muse CC Form for third party hosting servers

I start using the new adobe muse cc forms for third party hosting servers and i have this website for one of my customers i create a CONTACT FORM on the website and when try to submit it says "server encontered an error" i chat with adobe support they send me a URL with the options to fix my problem and then when i run this URL "http://mistercoffeediaz.com/scripts/form_check.php" everything is working fine. Please any somebody help me how to work this issue around. THKS..

If I upload a site to FTP host (third party hosting), will my client have any kind of site management options like the dashboard page on Business Catalyst?

I am creating this website for a client, and they want to be able to take it once I'm finished and manage it on their own. However, they are not Adobe users, so I am using BlueHost to host the site instead of Business Catalyst. If I do this, will there be a way that they can view analytics or have any kind of management page like the dashboard in BC? With the new update, they can now use the in-browser editing option through a third party hosting site, but they would like to have something where they can view the analytics.
I've searched and searched to find an answer to this and haven't found one. I don't want the client to spend the money on the hosting site if it is not the best option for what they want. But, since they are not Adobe users, they can't use BC, and I don't want to use one of my free BC sites.
Please help!

You would have to add analytics etc yourself likely Google Analytics. As for a Dashboard, no they won't. On a side note, the client does not have to be an Adobe User to have it hosted on BC. You can just create the site, host it on BC and simply add them as an admin. They don't have to be an Adobe user.

IIS7 configuration, blocked broadcast video stream from third party host

I have a client that recently replaced a windows server 2003 with windows server 2008 R2 as their webserver. This was a big change to IIS7. An application that I developed for them has stopped working and I believe this is related to the IIS7
configuration. The application uses SilverLight technology to display a broadcast video along with some powerpoint slides.
Here is the URL going to the server from a link on an html page.

The iiscast.wlf.org is the public name for the IIS server. When we click on the link it does properly display the start.html content but fails to connect to the video stream. The video stream is hosted by a third party and the contents of the
unit2.asx file has the url for that video stream. When a put the
http://iiscast.wlf.org/vod/broadcast/unit2.asx portion in IE it does properly display the video stream on mediaplayer.   All this worked prior to moving to the new server. When I use F12 in IE to debug this, I see a brief message appear
in the debugger that it is opening unit2.asx. After that the debugging is very limited except I know I’m getting an exception in the silverlight and the video doesn’t display.   Other similar Silverlight apps on the same server that display
archived video are working.

Playstream is a video stream hosting company. When someone links to them, it pulls the video stream from my clients media server broadcast point.
wlforg2.wvx contains the link back to the media server broadcast point at my client.
We have a lot of connections going on but keeping in mind that http://iiscast.wlf.org/vod/broadcast/unit2.asx will display the video and

Is not displaying the video although all this worked on the old server.
My guess is that something in the IIS7 is blocking this process.
FYI the old server completely died so I can’t look into its configuration which was done in 2004 by someone else.

This was entered in the iis.net forum as suggested. The problem has been resolved. The hosting service determined they had an edge server that was faulting. Their edge servers were automatically assigned by geography which meant
that depending on how/where we accessed the system for troubleshooting we used a different edge server. Hence some tests always failed and others always passed. FYI the hosting service had this problem for over a month and did not detect it
themselves. Fortunately we connected with a dedicated service technician late on a Saturday night and he figured it out.

You create the usernames and passwords where you host your website. Made with or without iWeb.
Usually it's done in the controlpanel where you manage your account.

Added jTDS as third party DB connector to Oracle SQL Developer and connecti

I have followed the directions for adding a third party db connector to SQL Developer however as soon as I do the connection manager form doesn't come up for both adding a new connection and editing an exisitng one. I have posted here as I am having issues finsing information or getting help through Oracle forums.

Two things:
1 - Confirm you got the jTDS we recommend from here http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/migration/omwb-getstarted-093461.html#conf
2 - Confirm you added the entry in the preferences and pointed to the actual JAR file, not just the directory
