I need instructions on the above subject. I want to send, transfer, download from my PC to someone else web page. I have no clue right now

Although my question has not yet been answered, I have since discovered that I asked on too specific of a forum. I have re-posted it on the general iPod forum and will shortly be marking this thread as answered to avoid confusion.

What version of iPhoto? Assuming 09 or later:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

It sounds as though you are experiencing an issue with an Apple ID and authorizations. Based on your post, it sounds like you are familiar with the authorizing and deauthorizing process. The Apple ID in question (your wife's email) may be originating from the iPhone you are attempting to update. Is it possible that your wife created an Apple ID or iCloud account which is signed in on that iPhone? On the Apple site I see an upgrade path but not from scratch. I will use my current systems and then it place a complete install of Maverick on the other drive to boot from?

If you have an backup on iCloud. You can restore via iTunes (on every computer) or via your iPhone itself.
And yes, you can restore the backup via iCloud.
To set iPhone to new do this: Settings > General > Reset > Erase all data and Reset all Settings.
It take a while. But after this, you can restore backup via iCloud.

Do not create a new iTunes account... accounts cannot be merged.
Install iTunes on the new computer.
Syncing of iDevices does not import content to a computer, the sync is one way from computer to iDevice.

Ref Solution 1: Lightroom is at its latest update
Ref Solution 2: It's interesting how I cannot find the Preferences file anywhere on my mac. (new mac pro, OS 10/9.2) . . .

Ref Solution 4: don't have any Nik Software plug-ins
Ref Solution 5: checked permissions and changed all to "Read & Write" - makes no difference

Did you download the app via that same iTunes account id ? Have you tried re-downloading it directly on your iPad (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519) ?

- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. What were you doing when the problem arose?
- Did it ever work properly?
- Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
Anything else you can think of that might allow someone else to understand your issue.
With this kind of information somebody can develop a starting point for troubleshooting the issue.

*Do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
*Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer. Do not remove personal data when uninstalling.
*It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can skip the step to create a new profile, that is not necessary for this issue.
