Tiles no longer appear in new tab and unable to repin new

When i open a new tab its just white no outlines of tiles nothing just blank ive reset my history so its public and ive tried clicking the gear to set it but it just opens the rest of the options none one them are for "To turn on the new tab page, click on the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the page and choose Enhanced or Classic from the menu. " and i dont see a similar button in the tabs setting section.

Can you drag any bookmark or history items in one of the tiles?

With the amount of information you've provided it's impossible to offer a potential solution. We can't see your computer so we need to know the details of your problem and setup, i.e.:
what version of iPhoto are you using?
what system version are you running?
did you get a message when trying to import from the memory card?
did you use a card reader?
what was you exact workflow for attempting the import?
what fixes have you tried?
where is your library located?
did you apply any updates or upgrades just prior to the problem occurring?
are you running a "managed" or "referenced" library? See image below:
what type of Mac?
how much free space on your boot drive?

I cannot sync songs and it doesn't show that I am connected to the cloud on my desktop. Just downloaded a bunch of songs and have no way to sync them to my ipod eventhough the ipod is connected and syncing.

Everytime I hit the + key to open a new tab, my tiles no longer appear and the new tab goes right to my homepage.

I looked in the help area and it says to click the gear icon. The screen show enhanced, classic, blank. I see none of these. I am in Firefox 35.0.1. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it and there is no change to he problem. I recently installed Fitbit and then the trouble started occurring.

I can not access iradio as there is not a tab for it in music app. I am in US and have checked the "more" area. Only usual tabs, but no way to access radio? I've also rebooted a couple times including the cold boot method. Any ideas?

Small pictures on sites no longer appear. Tried IE and they were there.

On Amazon the small pictures on some pages don't show. The titles are there but no pictures I know it's something to do with Mozilla because I tried the same pages on Amazon using IE and the pictures appeared. I didn't change anything it just suddenly happened. I tried d/l other versions, but nothing worked including the Beta 4.

Unbelievable. After a week of beating my head on this, I managed to find the problem, and why it is specific (in particular) to Amazon.com.
Amazon calls some of its images from a third party site, AND THE SITE IS UNTRUSTED! You can check/uncheck any pretty button, tab or menu item in Firefox, and the problem will not resolve.
I fixed this by:
Using the site identity button (for details on what that is see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Site+Identity+Button) and then on More Information. This will open up the page info dialog.
Next select the Media panel, then click on the first item in the list. Use the down arrow key to scroll through the list. If any item has a non-Amazon URL, copy it into a new tab, putting it in the address bar, then go to the location.
Evidently, some of these are from an untrusted source. You may get the message box that says GET ME OUT OF HERE, or I UNDERSTAND THE RISKS. I made an exception for the site, and now all my images work again.
Now somebody needs to go back and fix the bug in the logic.

Why does kanji script appear superimposed on tabs and then appear in an e-mail message from a known commercial sender?

More than once as I am working with 3 or more open tabs, kanji script appears superimposed across the tabs. Won't respond to right or left clicking, haven't tried highlighting.
Today while opening email on yahoo, a message appeared in my inbox with kanji characters in the information parameters (date, checkbox) but English in the subject line. I deleted it.
I'm getting worried. I do not think this is a Yahoo problem as I'm not actually in Yahoo when the kanji appears first, but the yahoo tab was still active. The kanji spreads across more than one tab.

In Firefox 4, why are the website icons not appearing in the tabs and next to the URL in the address bar? They appear fine in the bookmarks menu.

What are the make & models of each of your routers in your current network configuration? Is the only thing you changed is the wireless network name? Which version of the AirPort Utility are you using?

My Ipod Classic appears in My Computer when I connected it to my new Windows 8 pc. When Itunes starts my Ipod is no longer appears in My Computer and is not shown under Devices in Itunes. It appears that Itunes disconnects my Ipod from the pc. My Ipod still sync's up fine with Itunes on my old Windows XP pc.

Do you mean opening a window via the File menu (File > New Window) or do you always want to open links that you click on web pages in a new window?

The add new tab + stopped appearing on my tab

Can no longer simply add tab since the ADD TAB (+ sign) no longer appears on existing tab. It simply disappeared this morning.

You should take a look at [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-customize-toolbars this Knowledge Base article on customizing the toolbar]. It will show you how to add that button back in.
Another possibility is that an addon has been updated and cause the button to move. I know the recent update to Firebug moved the + icon to the side of the toolbar. You can try starting Firefox in Safe Mode by holding down shift while it is starting. If it works after you have disabled all your addons and themes, you can start turning them back on one by one until you find the culprit.

After installing Firefox 4, Firefox would no longer ask to save tabs and windows on exit. Even after trying all suggestions to resolve the problem, the problem continued. Under the corrupted files suggestion to rename two files, that also did not help. The original file names would be recreated automatically, so both file name versions would exist in that folder. NOTHING resolves the problem.
Unfortunately, since that is a very desirable feature I, like other people who do not like Firefox 4, have gone back to an earlier version of Firefox.

You can set the warn prefs on the about:config page to true via the right-click context menu or toggle with a double left-click.

To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website. 
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page. 
You can use "Firefox > History > Restore Previous Session" to get back the previous session. 
There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default about:home Home page.
Another possibility is to use:
*Tools > Options > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my windows and tabs from last time"
