Timestamps overwritten due to an administrative change to iFS

Hello:
We had a user who asked for write privileges to be added to her iFS account. When we made the change giving her write capability, every file currently existing in her project (under her ownership) was given the timestamp of when we made the privilege change. This gave our auditors a fit. Is there a way to prevent this -- timestamps being overwritten due to an administrative change to iFS?

Thank you for the question. Once you update your payment information in iTunes for the expiration date change you should be able to renew the subscription to Netflix. The steps in the first article walk you through updating your payment information. Another bug: The "No Date" option doesn't work properly. I have a smart mailbox set up to show all items dated plus/minus a year from now (i.e. all dated items) and four undated items showed up in the list. Selecting "no date" didn't work, so what I had to do was use the "other" option to set a date a couple of years back then go to iCal to set the items to "no date". That cleared them from the smart mailbox in Mail.

No correction due to the value change in Rebate

I followed the procedure but still it gives me the above error.
Run the SDBONT06 with the Agreement, but it gives me the error No correction due to the value change for the XXX invoices.
Also run the RV15B001 and RV15B002 and again run the SDBONT06 but still not resolved the issue.
Still anything i miss? please suggest

Hi Lakshmipathi,
No condition type was removed for the said invoices, but the prices has been changed manually has been observed, hence i think system pop the above message, i also checked the Note that you provided, but i did the right steps as per the note.
Any other input?

Goods Receipt PO due date cannot auto change

Dear All,
Would like to ask about a question that the Due Date in the Goods Recepit PO won't aunto changed to the date that plus the credit terms day.
for example i open this po today (18.09.2008) for BP-A which has a credit terms day as 30 days. but the Due Date will not auto change to 18.10.2008, is there any setting can set about it ?

Goods Receipt PO is for inventory purpose. It does not link to payment or other financial need. That is why it is not automatically updated.
You can use FMS to achieve the update you need.

Sorry, without knowing the Apple ID/Password that was originally used to activate this phone, then there is no way to re-activate it, as you've found out.
Apple can't/won't help you. Your choice is to get this info, or you simply won't be able to re-activate this phone.
If you ex won't give it to you, then consult a lawyer.

Portal Administration: Changing Page Definition Labels

We are using Weblogic 8.1 portal.
I want to know whether it is possible to change the page Definition label
through the Administration console.

I think it can't . the definition label only ca define in the .portal file
,and , just like the porlet's definition label , must define in the .portlet
file ,can't change it throght the Administration portal.

Primary Administrator changed - does this affect 'shared secret'

Very recently I had my Apple ID set to be the Primary Admin for our iTunesU site. When I login directly using my AppleID everything just works. I can see all the Admin interface links and make changes. However our University also has an iTunesU login page where we use a transfer script and assign roles and pass credentials to iTunesU, and as of today when I tried using that login page NONE of the credentials get passed. It more or less will authenticate and everyone gets the default role of 'guest' access. Is it possible that our shared secret changed when I had my AppleID re-set?
The way it was done was I was sent an email to Activate our iTunesU site, does Activating or Re-Activating an iTunesU site affect the 'shared secret' for the iTunesU site?

Resetting the site does not change the share secret. To check this you can log into your private site as the primary Apple ID administrator and under "Edit Site Settings" the current transfer script information is listed. This information is only displayed for the primary Apple ID administrator. Compare this information to the information contained within the transfer script.

Account Administrator changed to Standard

After re-installing Snow Leopard, my Account Administrator status was changed to Standard.
I can't unlock the Account to re-make myself the Administrator, or do a software update, etc.

In the section..."How to disable the root user Mac OS X 10.6" (below) I found no Edit button on the bottom-right of the Accounts/Login Options.
Also my Directory Utility app repeatedly quit upon opening. Will there be a problem if I can't disable the Root User?

From the Apple menu choose System Preferences....
From the View menu choose Accounts.
Click on the lock and authenticate with an administrator account.
Click Login Options....
Click the "Edit..." button at the bottom right
Click the "Open Directory Utility..." button.
Click the lock in the Directory Utility window.
Enter an administrator account name and password, then click OK.
Choose Disable Root User from the Edit menu.

Cant access Blackberry ID due to email format changing.

hi, i'm posting this on behalf of my boyfriend who really isn't good with online things haha.
basically he can't access is blackberry id anymore due to the fact it was registered to a university email address which changed it's format, i think from a hotmail to an outlook account, but anyways this stopped him from receiving email to his phone and as it was the email he used for blackberry id it now says the email address is invalid, yet it is definitely the one he used to sign up with at the start. Is there a way to get blackberry id to accept the change informat of the email, i know it's something about how when you register an email to your phome it gets some kind of pin or something so if that format changes the pin wont allow the emails to come through. it all seems very confusing and as there is no contact phone number i can't ring up directly. does this mean i'm going to have to do a security wipe in his phone? this all started from an email saying he could no longer receive email from that certain address due to change and not being able to verifty his email account any more. hopefully someone out there can understand my ramblings and help aha. thanks.

What we notice instead is that printNodeAsImage(c, filename) actually saves the node with the color YELLOW instead of RED. Is there any way to know deterministically when the UI has been updated due to a variable value change (or because of binding). (In this case the transition from Yellow to Red) So that we can perform other operations on the UI state - like saving it to a file

Hi. I'm running 10.7.5 macbook air and my administrator user has just been changed to standard user.. So can't do anything right now, how do I change this?

Lot of Archives are getting generated due to db block changes in table fnd_concurrent_requests and fnd_concurrent_queues

In our R12.1.3 EBS RAC Production Database (Size ~ 450GB), found heavy archives generation which almost 200GB - 250GB daily from past couple of months (Due to which our Standby/DR database have been lagging). After taking AWR Reports for last 3 months, I've found that fnd_concurrent_requests and fnd_concurrent_queues are 2 heavily redos transnational tables. (from db block changes section). Also the same confirmed from dba_hist_seg_stat, dba_hist_seg_stat_obj & dba_hist_snapshot tables. Purge Concurrent Request and/or Manager Data request has been scheduled with ALL, age, 14 days parameters.
We have also done re-org activity on these tables, but still no luck. is there any way to reduce archives generation on due to these FND% Tables ? is there any other request for purging ? any help would be appreciated.

Executing batch file as administrator changes working directory

hey guys,
I already posted this question on the msdn-forums and they sent me here. I hope, you can help me.
My situation: I have a java program which I compile with exe4j. exe4j adds some nice features so I can install the program as a service with the command "myexe.exe /install"
I put that command in a batch file (more user friendly).
The problem: Only administrators can install services (in Win 7). But if I run the batch-file as administrator, the working directory changes to the system32-directory and I get an "command not found"-error.
The question: How can I solve this? The only solution I know at the moment is setting a environment variable at installation time that points to the install-location. Is there another way?

With runas you in fact logon to another seesion. So cmd is started with his own starting directory (being where it is located, system32).
I would recommend never to rely on the working dir for a batch file or script, but to always include the full path to the needed command/executables. If needed you can use environment variables to get the pathes of user-customised folders (for example the %usersprofile% variable).
Using .lnk files (normal shortcuts) you can specify the working dir to start in if you would really need that functionality.

Can no longer connect to my wireless due to accidental bluetooth change.

i recently bought my macbook and the wireless was working fine on it. Until i tried to pair my phone to it using bluetooth. The setting then changed to bluetooth PAN. network diagnostics then said airport was connected to a personal IP adress and would not allow safari to work. just wondering if anyone has any suggestions to the problem? or a definite solve? or even just how to restore the macbook again?

When you pair a bluetooth phone for the first time it asks through the setup assistant if you want to use the phone for a network connection eg 3g or gprs even if you dont enter any details it may add that bluetooth connection to your network ports in your current network connection.
What I do is then go into the network connection and delete that port from the list of ports. In fact the best system I use is to create a new network location just of ethernet and airport and delete all the other ports.
When I want to use my bluetooth phone as a modem I create another network location just for bluetooth.
This way nothing will interfere with each other.
To create a new network location goto System Preferneces-->Network-->Location-->edit location-->title your new location-->click done-->click apply.
then select the ports that you dont use in that location and delete in the left of the window. Then apply.
If you dont want to do the above go into your current network setting and change the service order of the ports so that airport is at the top of the list.
