To people who know about Macbook startup issues, can you please help me???

I have a troubleshooting issue regarding the bootup on my Macbook which I have been using it for a year or two since December of 2007. I have no problems of it until now and it's making me frustrated. When I was doing a homework assignment for school, I used the Spotlight search feature to search for the assignment I wanted. All of a sudden, my Mac frozed on me that I decided to press the power button to turn it off. I did it successfully until I started it back up. When the computer tries to turn it on, there are three short beeps (beep - beep - beep repeating itself for 2-3 sec) along with the blinking light indicating something's is up. Any ideas or solutions??? Please, thank you.

Hmm. Is this series of beeps similar to a "S.O.S." type sound?
First thing to try is reseating the memory as outlined here:

Do you have your install discs? Has the computer been repaired or upgraded since you purchased it?

When you create an iTunes account you should receive an email to the primary email address that you put on the account - that email should have a 'verify now' link in it which you need to click on and which will open a browser for you to log into your account from.

I am sorry Erickkasner but there is no longer direct support provided for Creative Suite 5.5 installation issues.
You are welcome to post any specific errors you are able to discover within your installation log to this discussion. Since you are using Windows then Exit Code 15 could mean one of the following:
Installer database is corrupted
Update pending to your operating system
Improper permissions set for the Media.db
The installation log file should provide additional insight into the exact error you are experiencing. Please make sure to use the find command to look for the words 'ERROR' and 'FATAL' to locate the relevant error messages.

From what I can gather, it sounds like you're having issues restoring your device. After reviewing your post, I have located an article that can help in this situation. It contains helpful advice concerning recovery mode:
If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Use recovery mode
You might need to use recovery mode to restore your device in these cases:
iTunes doesn't recognize your device or says it's in recovery mode.
You see the Apple logo onscreen for several minutes with no progress bar.
You see the Connect to iTunes screen.
Learn what to do if you see the progress bar onscreen for several minutes.
To put your device into recovery mode, follow these steps:
Turn off your device and leave it off.
Plug in your device's USB cable to a computer with iTunes.
Hold down the Home button on your device as you connect the USB cable. Keep holding down the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
When you see this screen, release the Home button. If you don't see this screen, try steps 1 through 3 again.
When your device is connected, iTunes will open. You'll see a message saying that iTunes has detected an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch in recovery mode.
Use iTunes to restore your device. Restoring in recovery mode will erase your device. If you previously synced with iTunes or iCloud, you might be able to restore from your backup.

It sounds like you actually have a 2G iPod Touch which can only go as high as iOS 4.2.1. If it's an 8 GB iPod Touch it's definitely a 2G iPod Touch as there was never such a thing as a 3G 8 GB iPod Touch. See this article to help verify what generation iPod Touch you have.

You could restarting your phone that sometimes fixes issues
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for phone to restart (no data will be lost).

The fact that they have 2 versions of ACR means that initial support for the D800 was added in 6.7 but that complete support was finalized in 7.1 (the 4.1 in the chart is for Lightroom)
I'm not sure that this means there are missing features, but rather refinements and optimized settings were added in 7.1
However, ACR 7.1 requires CS6.
As Dag mentioned, you can also use the latest version of DNG Converter to convert the D800 files to DNGs which will be able to be opened in older versions of ACR.
The DNG converter only works on folders of files, not individual files. So just select the folder and convert. All the files in the folder will be converted.

If you don't have access to the computers to manually deauthorize them (they were sold, stolen, etc), then you have to log into your account, deauthorize all computers, and then re-authorize the machine(s) that you want to have access. This page explains how.

What would the issue be? Does it say your phone is offline? IF so that means your phone is powered off.

Quick question(For people who know about video formats and stuff)

What type of media file is AVI? Because I looked on the list of codecs compatible with iPod and it didn't say if it was compatible or not, maybe it's something else. If you know, please tell me

For the formats that were not compatible, I converted them, and it then played the video, but with no sound. I want to get South of Nowhere for a friend on my ipod, butt he only format they come in is AVI and MPG. MPG is quicktime, I know that so it won't work. But what is AVI. The laptop suddenly freezes without warning, the screen turns black, while the hard drive apparently stals and the system no longer responds. The only way to resolve this issues is to restart the computer via a hard reset. After restarting, an error message box shows up asking me to report the error, which I've already done on numerous occassions. The problem occurs at a frequency of 1 every 2-3 days, sometimes more often than that. The error message that comes up is very complicated but contains some key words amongst which includes "kernel." This makes me believe that it's an issue with the video card, and was wondering how I can remediate this problem so as to get the normal function of my laptop back. If anyone can be of any help, I would greatly appreciate it.
